1. the breakfast 2. the service is good, but is't like in another hotels that i was there in Thailand 3/ you get all you need but ... ( look in the weaknesses) 4. there is nice marker near the hotel- to do a shoping

1. the building is not new- it's like Europ hotels 2. my feeling was that the service is not personallity 3. you must take taxi to see things in the city

after the staying in Baiyoke Sky i can tell that it's a nice experience. if i compare this hotel to the other hotel that i have been stay as a guest it is in the middle. the view is special in the day and in the night.

Shopping Tip : in front of the hotel is wholesale market- you can buy good things in good price. in the left side you have good massage

The hotel room was tremendous with a magical view of the entire city of Bangkok from the 57th floor. The food in the 78th floor restaurant buffet was very good, well presented, well attended and service was very good, variety was good for an all Asian buffet, the seafood as advertised was seriously lacking but the salads were very nice. The decor of this restaurant was what I had expected, quiet elegance and very fasionable with a tremendous view of the city. The hotel personnel were all very personable but didn't speak much english. They were very accomodating and very nice and helpful. The security out front of the hotel was both comforting and helpful, the outside staff was very helpful with cabs, directions, etc. I do wish they would offer reservations for cabs for local shopping and sightseeing trips through.

Baiyoke Sky needs to pay more attention to little things like dirty floors and filthy stained carpets, ceilings with water leak stains, filthy 77th floor breakfast restaurant chairs, surrounds, walls, A/C vents, ceilings, etc. The service on 77 was marginal at best, the breakfast selection was good, the variety was good, good tasting and plentiful with the exception of Papaya for some reason. The lobby bar needs to be renovated, I never saw anyone using it, it was much too sterile looking. The lobby was dirty most of the time and everything felt just a little too crowded. Night market was fun but maybe a little too close for comfort with lots of traffic making it a little dangerous. The hotel since they have so many guests and everyone coming and going needs to be more careful with taxis being used because too many times we were going one place and had to make stops for shopping we did not plan and were almost forced to do by taxi drivers so they could get gas coupons from the shops. This became very annoying and irritating and a couple of times when we refused we were put out of the cab. They need to keep a list and review with guests on these kinds of issues and ban some taxis that perform this way from their hotel. We stayed at the hotel for two weeks and never were able to catch and use the free van service to the malls, it should be more often, like every 30 minutes to accomodate the guests.

I would say that overall this hotel was very nice with a little more housekeeping to be done but had all of the attributes of a great hotel, good food, good service, spectacular room views, fair location with too much traffic, good prices and friendly helpful staff. I would stay here again but might be a little more careful about the time of year (rainy season). This is not a five star hotel but it doesn't claim to be, but it is very nice and centrally located pretty much.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The tour agency in the lobby of the hotel was very helpful in booking and arranging local sight seeing tours to the floating market and just getting around town in a private car. If you have a chance use the personal car service, a little extra but the benefits are amazing.

Everything !!!

Nothing !!!

I have never stayed at a so "chic" hotel. It is just PERFECT!!!! Very luxurious, amazing 88 storey building. The room was almost an apartment, so big! The breakfast took me more than one hour every day, because it had so many options and different types of food that I couldn't easily choose what I would have every morning. And, looking at an amazing landscape from the 77th floor. The hotel has several restaurants, fruit buffets, convenience store, internet, golf training, swimming pool, gym, massage rooms, etc, etc, etc... Eight elevators can take us to all the entertaiment. One day I didn't even get out the hotel, because it had so many things to do there. Location is superb. Walking distance to tens of large shopping centers. Near various train stations, very modern mean of transportation. The staff is something difficult to describe, because they're so, so, so polite and kind and available to help at any moment. The room was very, very, clean and the bathroom was incredible. Huge, all in stone, bathtube, large shower area, etc... The revolving floor is a circle which revolves on top of the skycraper and you can see almost all Bangkok. And it's really huge. The restaurants are at a veryu reasonable price, the food is perfect, as the environment as well. I totally recommend to everyone.

good location, highest building in bangkok, good restaurant, good view! big room

have to use lift to the lobby then change lift to our room, and we have to do that everytime, i really hope the main lobby is on the 1st floor

it is a good hotel, good location, and it has mini mart inside the lobby so it is really helpful, we usually buy mineral water, snacks, and sometimes medicine or vitamin c, and it is all provided there, made things easier, and tour travel section, car rental, ticket show everything provided in the lobby, and have someone outside the hotel to help us take a taxi, nice! and not to mention nearby shopping area!

Shopping Tip : it is everywhere around you, the moment you step out of the hotel already street market

Will definitely come back ... Guest Rating: 8.7

- The beautiful view of Bangkok skyline. - Close proximity to the main areas (eg. Sukhumvit, Silom, etc) - Easy access. - Variety of dishes at breakfast. - Cheap drinks at the Skybar.

- Lobby gets too crowded at times with tourists going up to the Observation Deck. - There are nothing in the minibar :(

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here. We booked only the Superior room but was upgraded to a Superior Suite. Our room (though not really on the high floor) had an amazing view of downtown Bangkok. The room was huge and I personally love the large bathroom. It is also very easy to get around as there are taxis waiting downstairs at (almost) all times. The staffs are friendly and ever ready to help with just about everything. We're very impressed with the amazing selection of food at breakfast. The restaurant served almost everything - you name it. Skybar on the 83rd floor is also worth a visit. You can have clear view of Bangkok city at night while enjoying music from the live band :)

Spectacular view from the room. Nice Breakfast spread. Helpful staff.Easy shopping, near shopping belt.

Preferably more lights to brighten the room. We could not get a working weighing scale for our bags.

On the whole we had an exciting stay,no issues. We stayed on the upper floor room, spectacular city view from our room. Security at the hotel was OK, and we thought it could be improved further especially around the street entrance lobby and carpark area. The hotel is very near to the main shopping belt and eateries. The night market is just outside the hotel, just be a bit more vigilant in crowded areas for pickpockets.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do check and bargain for cab fare near the hotel entrance. There will always be driver asking for hefty fare and some who are ok with the cheaper metered fare. from ally

quiet, private, fantastic view, great food, very central to all sites of interest

traffic congestion outside the hotel entrance.

It was my second trip to Thailand and their will be many others. I had the opportunity to stay with a friend in Bangkok for 5 days but was looking forward to my stay at the Baiyoke hotel as the room service is really great. It is very central to most of the shopping centers and places of interest, parks etc. As the weather was beautiful apart from the afternoon thunder showers the view is fantastic.

Shopping Tip : shopping and more shopping good quality clothes, novelty items and food very healthy and cheap.

I have stayed at the Baiyoke sky once earlier last year. This year when I decided to book the room again, booked the junior suite thinking that that was the room type that I stayed in before. However, upon check in it was'nt the same. I was told that I had actually stayed in the superior suite and they let me upgrade by paying more per night. I really liked that suite.

Good strategic location, best view in town. Guest Rating: 8

Highest hotel in Bangkok, you can see the whole city skyscape from the restaurant on 78th floor. Wide selection of buffet breakfast (Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Western).

Very crowded.

The highest hotel in Bangkok where you can enjoy the view of the whole city of Bangkok from the restaurants on top floors, room view is also nice depending on where you are facing. Our room was spacious, but too bad they did not have queen/king sized bed ready when we checked-in. Bathroom is clean and spacious as well. There is a street market right in front of the Hotel, and the first 3-4 floors of the Hotel itself is a shopping center selling mostly clothing. Oh... they also claimed to have the best Tom Yum soup in the world, didn't try it though...

Very central fabulous views from top floor

Probably the front entrance too hotel can be a little off putting. But once inside a different feeling

Although we did not arrive until very late due to delayed flight the welcome from the staff was very warm and efficient. The room was pleasant with stunning views. We left our luggage with hotel porter the next day until 5pm. I would recommend the hotel because it's clean, very central for shopping and the staff very courteous. I will recommend to friends and stay again.

The view is the best out of all the hotels i have stay in various county. And the staffs are very helpful and nice.

Very old fashioned interior design.

The view was terrific! i have never seen such a beautiful night view in a hotel, even i've traveled to various countries and stayed in lots of nice hotels, in terms of view, this is the best. I like the breakfast too. The breakfast buffet is serve at top floor some 70 something floors and it is serve in different restaurants each day, so u can enjoy the views. All in all, its a great experience staying there.

Baiyoke Sky Hotel is the tallest building in Bangkok. We had a good view to get an exotic panorama around Bangkok from 78 th floor while we were having breakfast

Most of employees of the hotel did not give smile faces when we met them in front of lift, entrance door or when we met them along the corridor.

I was dissatisfied when I asked front office to reconfirm my ticket, he asked me to do by myself by phone. First night, we got a bad room in 59th floor (i forgot the #). The room was smell bad, the carpet was not clean and we got twin badroom, even we are a couple. The next day for 2 nights, we moved to 5705. That was better one. My point is why we should ask to get the better room rather then the hotel gave the best impression in the first time. 50 words

Shopping Tip : when you will buy something in Platinum Fashion Plaza or in Pratunam market, please ask the price, and bargain and you will get a good price. Basically the price is ok

Comfortable room with a fantastic restaurant with staff exceptionally helpful.

Entrance to hotel to busy with too many people sitting on the steps that lead up to the hotel. I would suggest that these steps are kept clear in future.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at this magnificent hotel. Being in the centre of bangkok was a bonus with the rooms comfortable, clean and with breathtaking views across the city skyline. I have since recommended that my parents stay at this hotel in January when they travel to bangkok on a 6 week break. I look forward to visiting this hotel again in the future but for a much longer stay than previous. Thank you to all your staff.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip along the river was eyeopening and much enjoyed.
