prefer to have a nicer room ambience.rate should not be too expensive and must be value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
good location, but room need to be more modern,a little expensive and shd provide braekfast which i pay alot.

wrong hotel and long regretfull nights
nothing at all, except being the tallest hotel building

When we first arrived, i knew that there was something wrong. the hotel lobby was on the high floor and there was nobody helping us on the laguages eventhough there were some people in the hotel uniform noticed us arriving. the hotel is located in a crowded suburb area that there were so many people sitting and standing in and outside the hotel building, especially to the entrance of the hotel building.
After reaching the hotel lobby, we have to wait for quite sometime because the front desk are full of people queing for checking in (only 3 or 4 staffs assisting quests for such a hotel with many rooms).
we were shocked that they could not meet our request for the side by side rooms (possibly with connecting doors). instead, our 2 rooms were seperated by 7 floors?????????? Didn't even bother to apologize, a male thai staff offer us a side by side rooms at the Deluxe Sky Zone and also Standard Space Zone for a incredibly high price difference (did they do it purposely, so that i have no choice and have to pay the difference anyway???).
After staying in the rooms, i have to comment that the hotel was clearly not a four stars hotel. not even a three stars hotel. carpet has smell. sofa makes our skin itchy. guest what... we found some life cockroaches in the drawer and walking closet area (maybe this is what made my skin itchy at the sofa). the beds at both rooms, clearly needed to be replaced as our back were so pain due to the broken springs.
And the most stupid service that the hotel offered was that we were almost charged for the spoons, forks and bowls eventhough we ordered some soft drinks and juices. so, i cancelled my ordered and eat outside.
Travel tip:
don't stay to long. check other four stars hotels around and be shocked with the price

great location and great hotel for short stay
in the heart of local shopping market

the hotel location is great. i stayed on floor 67 for one night as last stop before flying back home. the location is excellent for the those who want to stop for shopping . the room is very clean and the window view is magnificent , there is shopping mall on the first 5 floors and the hotel lobby start at floor 18. the hotel location is also in the pattonam market the most popular open air public market the hotel looks like if not the tallest building is one of the tallest building in bangkok. i recommend this hotel

Overall experience with Baiyoke Sky hotel - The rooms are very large with good facilites except sometimes house keeping tend to miss out the complimentary water bottles. Location is not really that great unless you get to the lobby. One very set-back is it is very difficult to get a cab that runs by meter from the hotel and very few ones want to go to Sukhumvit area. There is a lovely restaurant at Soi Sukhumvit 23 but everytime we needed to get there we are charged very expensive. Coming back from the restaurant by cab is so cheap when they always run by meter. If there is a control by the hotel, it would be great !

hot water not consistent but no problem. just set to warm and you will get nice hot splurts every few seconds.
large room for the price. yes there were a few roaches in the room but this is thailand. they are everywhere!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't use internet at the hotel. Go to the street where the food stalls are and in the second/third alley there is internet for 20baht per hour.

Spacious Hotel room with Good View

upon check-in, feel very please about the spacious room and nice views from my room. many tv channels to watch and air-cond is fresh, maybe b'coz i was in the non-smoking level.(i'm a nonm-smoker). however, the lift card does not work well, had quite a few attempts including assistance from the hotel staff, who also encounter some difficulty, before the lift goes up. on my departure, to the shuttle van to the airport, though notice is prominently displayed in the hotel, however when waiting at the bus stop, the shuttle van did not parked exactly at the parking lot. i waited there for 30 mins, for the 1 pm departure, but was informed later that the shuttle van already left!!!! no choice, but to take the airport rail link train.
generally,this hotel is great (within itself), good buffet, nice facilities, very friendly smiling staff, always offering to help. thanks.
Restaurant Tip:
If u want good buffet with a romantic evening with yr love ones, choose this Hotel with nice view from the TOP of BKK.

Lovely hotel & Great Location
Great location, near with shopping centers, just one railway train to the airport

Baiyoke Sky Hotel gave us almost all we need as a traveller. It has great location center of the city, as the highest building in Bangkok we can find it easily. near with the shopping centers, the BRT dan just 100 m from railway train to the airport. The hotel also gave us free shuttle van to the shopping center or the BRT. It make our vacation very nice moment.
