Great location but.....

This is my 4th visit...the first 3x were purely girls trip and we were busy shopping and massaging no wonder we never noticed there was no air-con at the foyer while waiting for the elevators!! Only on my last trip (family trip) then I realised it when my hubby and kids were sweating terribly at the foyer while waiting for elevators (imagined one needs to change at least 2 sets of elevators before reaching its destination), we then informed the staff but they said it was due to energy saving??!!! My hubby sweared not to go back to Baiyoke Sky anymore with that stupid excuse the hotel gave!!
Another reason was we felt spooky on the last day while we checked out hence no way to return to this hotel!

A truly nice place to stay...well located in the heart of shopping and eating district. Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and top class service. the hotel even has its own 24 hour convenience store in the lobby level. I always choose this hotel when i am in Bangkok.
Shopping Tip:
Many markets and shopping centres within walking distance from the hotel.

Sky Baiyoke was a good hotel because of its proximity to shopping areas and large rooms! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
Restaurant Tip:
We enjoyed the fruit buffet in the 18th floor. For 180 Baht (adults) & 90 Baht (children) we had the widest array of the sweetest Thai fruits! It was 50% off for guests of the hotel

I had seen the tower of the Baiyoke Sky on a previous visit to Bangkok so when I saw it listed on Agoda for a very attractive price I selected it. Not a luxury hotel but good value, good location and good food.
Shopping Tip:
NIght shopping within 3 meters of the front door and shopping arcade all around.

Walking distance to Platinum mall. We can even walk to Siam Paragon, Central World Plaza, and Siam Square for shopping. Our deal does not comes with Free Breakfast, so no comment on that. Wifi is not free, they charge 400Baht per day.

i had a pleasant stay,room was amazing,staff was very friendly and the whole atmosphere was just perfect.in addition to that,the location of the hotel is close to many shops,restaurants,entertainment strips and 15 mints away from the airport!
