There are now fast food outlets closeby.
I was upgraded. The room was on a high floor, well presented and a large bathroom. Excellent hotel for the money. Great breakfast with an international choice

Tuk-tuks are my favorite transportation means in Bangkok. They are fast, comfortable (less than a taxi but more than a motorcycle), cheap and fun! You can hail them anywhere, just remember to bargain before going in. Just say the address and ask how much. A normal fare could be between 20 and 100 baht (30 baht = 1 CAD).
- Shopping Tip : Bargain everything you want on the street shopping. Always lower your price by 70% of what they ask for to begin with and work your way up. At least you know what is the real bottom price.

Total overview is a good experience, baiyoke sky is quite central located. But it is not near to a sky train station. Walking distance to MBK.

There is quite a variety of food for your choice. We opted for an International Buffet Dinner on our second day. However we realised that the staff there were pretty slow in replenishing the food.

I think people come here only for the amazing view from the high floor and the close Pratunam area.
