checking in was hassle free with the agoda printed out voucher. room was ok despite the aging condition. would have been great if it was renovated to keep up with the accomodation choices in the vicinity. the good thing is the location within pathunam, the garment wholesale centre, buzzing with activities till late night. food choices aplenty.

overall no issues with the hotel, except the rooms are really old. clean & decent facilities though, even though i'd rather pay a bit more & stay at baiyoke sky hotel next door. great location though, very close to the major shopping area like platinum fashion mall etc.

Old looking hotel...
The location is very centrally located with the shopping district..

it was my first visit to bangkok.. the baiyoke suite hotel was a last minute addition to my itinerary due to flight conflicts.. the facade of the hotel exterior looks quite old, but once u step into the lobby, it seems like ur in another world.. differebt from the outside.. it took the hotel staff a good 20 min to check us in even though we were the only ones there.. once we went up to our room, it was back to the old facade.. everything was old and creepy... yes, creepy... simply put, i thank god i only spent 1 night there.. period...

superb hotel especially for the price. location very good. for years on end i have been trying to get this hotel, but nevery succeeded - this time i did, and hope in future too i shall succeede. breakfast was too good as also the rooms (suite). a.c. was perfect - there is nothing to complain about. staff too very good. thanks.
Shopping Tip:
location pefect - only thing is the old pratunam market with a lot of shops is no more like before. thde night market around the old place is not as good as the old - after old is gold as the proverb goes. anyway the hotel is good in all respects.

Reception people were not helpful. One has to pay 500 bhatts as deposit to use the room safe. Condition of the hotel was in a sorry state as it was not maintained. Waste of a living room in the suite as it was dirty and the quality of the bedsheets were just horibble. I just dont want to come back ever to this hotel. Need serious involvement in the upkeep of the hotel. Such a huge property just going for a waste.
Shopping Tip:
Pratunam night market, Indira market and the wholesale market is right at your doorstep.

this is a hotel i have used for nearly 15 years now and while getting a little tired and definitely overshaddowed by its big brother (the baiyoke sky) it still gets my vote. the main reason is the size of the rooms and the price (these are suites with a large lounge and separate bedroom. times are tough and the extensive breakfast they used to provide with the room now costs while internet is not free and overpriced but the hotel is nicely located within easy walking distance to the airport skytrain link (200 meters), the pratuman markets (right on your doorstep), wholesale fashion market and computer market (pantip plaza) 100-130 meters. central world and big c 250 meters, siam paragon meters, discovery center and mbk (500-600 meters).

If you love shopping and don't like to be stuck in traffic, would recommend you to stay in this area. The hotel lobby is not at street level, and the entrance to the hotel will leads you to luggage storage area
