Because Baiyoke Hotel is a large and reputable hotel in bangkok, we went with great expectations. Unfortunately, they gave us a room in which the air-condition wasn't working proporting. In view that we will only staying for a day, we did not take the problem of informing the hotel staff. Added to our woes, the shower and the room curtain wasn't working as they should. When we check out the following morning we informed the manager of the hotel our disappointment with the substandard room.

The hotel wasnt clean,they didnt do room service(didnt clean toilet and bathroom),wireless in hotel should be free but they charge you,its rediculous.

Reasonable Suite. Great Location.
Walking distance to malls. Great view of Baiyoke Sky Hotel. 150m to rail station which takes you to the airport.

The suite could use a facelift. Basic amenities provided. Hot shower unstable. Rooms take a long time to cool via the 2 overworked AC units. The restaurant on the top level closes at midnight. Would have enjoyed the night view of the city with some late supper. Location great though, walking distance to a number of malls. Booked a tour with the tour desk downstairs.
Shopping Tip:
Sunday is the best time to shop since all the good stuff is being displayed and prices very cheap since vendors are competing against each other.
Also worthwhile to make casual or office wares (suits, shirts, pants, blouse, jacket & even neckties) very reasonable price and delivered to your hotel within 24hrs. Do compare with different tailors.

it was a great stay. the facilities were great. the friendly staff were so patient to give us suggestions and assistance when we were inquiring about the tourism attraction. when the day i left, the hotel staff insisted not to take the tips we offered and told us it was his job. i did enjoy the services provided.
Restaurant Tip:
should go to the thai restaurant called 'ban khun may'. it is so famous. opposite the restaurant, there is a dessert outlet called mango tango. get something refreshing after a great meal.

- rooftop restaurant was good & excellent view

bad points.
- room amenities was rather old
- aircond was not cold enough
- carpet was dusty n sofa had stains on it

if you are planning only to sleep in it at night and be gone all day, i would recommend it.hotel was ok but seriously need to maintain or revamp the place.cool rooftop restaurant though.
overall i would say this hotel is ok.

It was a pleasant stay with the strategic location especially for shopper like us.
Food is easily access at the food court at nearby/ walking distance mall.

this is my first stay at the baioyek suit hotel. very close to airport railway link. only few minutes walk & only ticket to airport & 15 minutes. good buffet breakfast. lift is very slow & need to wait so long. a/c is not working properly. some times no hot water. very large room. area is too crowded with shoppers but you can buy clothes at reasonable price.
can reccomend any one to stay.
Shopping Tip:
Pratunam area is very populer for shopping of garments.

The rooms whare very big, it is an appartment, I liked the position of the hotel, it is great for shopping, i liked they have a good parking for the car and not the least I liked the city panorama.
The things I didnt like is that the furniture is very old, the tv is not in the same room where the bed is but after all I was happy with the hotel, good value for the price.
