Great Locatio but rooms could be cleaner
location, rate and buffet breakfast

rooms could do with better lighting and the bathroom fixtures and carpet etc need to be refreshed - look and smell very old
could do with more elevators - always crowded and need to wait long because of the bulk check in of package tour groups
Hotel Feature Tip:
Suugest that take the rate with breakfast included - worth the money
Also if you are a business traveller better to take the executive suite - ordinary suite not well maintained

room is quite spacious,but had a funny wooden smell n e aircon is not cooling enough,.a good location to stay if u wan a short trip holiday.nearby tat a few shopping centre n market to shop till drop,n many place to eat as well.after all e price paid for the hotel is worth.

the rooms are spacious,very spacious but old.the carpet had a lot of (burning)holes in it and at first it smelled not good. so the first inpression was not so good. it even got worse when the windows could not open, also the door to the balcony. you feel like you are in a prisoncell inside the hotel
a small reception is located at the first floor, and that is it. so there is little staff. i did not find a restaurant in the hotel itself or a room to relax.
the swimmingpool was good and has a nice view over a part of bankok. but as i say, there is not many things in the hotel itself because it is basic, for sleep only.
when i returned i stayed in other hotel, which i had visted before during other trips with my famiy, because i did not want to stay in baiyoke anymore.

The hotel is fine, good location and nice rooms but the staff is not kind at all! they always expect you tip them and when you don't do it (or maybe not as they expect) the staff don't greet you the next morning!
They "pretend" you book their trips and their taxi and they are kind of pissed if you refuse to go to the airport with their taxi (over priced). I'm not referring to the receptionist but the ones downstairs at the basement

The hotel is not bad, good location for shopping and eating out... lively place with people out most of the time (almost round the clock)... night market and so on... The price is affordable... though hotel is a bit old but still goood. not very convenient for older people and people with special need as the main entrance to the hotel is through steps going downwards to reach the elevators

This place was the pits.I didn't want to touch anything. You can't open the sliding to door to get to the balcony.There is a sink but there is no faucet! The bathroom smelled like someone had just used it.

I have stayed in Baiyoke Suite twice in the same year (2011). My first impression of the hotel is they have a very spacious room that will fit you and your family. Inside of the hotel room, it has a small living room, dining table, and kitchen as well. May be it looks more like an apartment then a hotel. The room can fit for 4-5 people.
The service is also excellent. The hotel room is so clean. The price is definitely affordable for a 3 stars hotel. The location is within walking distance to Pratunam Market, Indra Square, Krunthong Plaza, and Platinum Shopping Mall. It also close by to the Airport Rail Link (approx. 300 m)
So in my opinion, it worth the try... Enjoy Bangkok!

Lovely hotel and good location

Stayed in Executive Suite Room. My review is based on this room type only.
Plus points:
- Spacious Living room with TV
- Enough space to lay your purchases and luggage on the floor
- Very clean
- Balcony in the living room, non-accessible due to safety
- A bed room with a dresser
- Clean toilet
- Platunam market selling wholesale just outside the hotel
- Further down will be Platinum Fashion Mall
- Cheap street food near the hotel
- 7-11 and money changer nearby
Cons :
- Non linkage rooms if you are traveling with a group
- Blinding small window at the bottom of the bedroom without a curtain
- Some times the aircon is not cold enough
- Small swimming pool
Travel tip:
- If you want to purchase singlets (e.g. red bull), buy them near our hotel, it is cheaper compared to other places
- M.B.K and Siam Paragon is not far by cab. Take cab by meter. If you bargain, paying more than 70 baht would be too much.
- Clubs/Bars are nearby by cab as well. Do not get cheated when the driver tells you it needs half or an hour to arrive.
