The rooms were very old and not soo fresh.
The hotell has a good location in Bangkok,and very nice workers.The resurang at the 43 plane had a very good vue over the city.The pool were ok, but there were not so meny sunbeds.But at all the hotell is quite ok and we had a lovely time in Bangkok.
Shopping Tip : MBK they got it all.

* Great location
* Aircon worked well
* Cleaners do a great job
* Terrific value for money
* Might need refurbishment soon
* Internet access charges too high
* Reception staff could smile a bit more
A great little hotel close to shopping areas and markets. We checked in at 10:30pm and maybe the staff were a little tired by then, but to their credit they were polite and professional.
Aircon is something important to us and we were really happy with it. There were 2 to service the two big rooms and it got the temp in the room down to a comfortable level quickly.
Internet access charges at 200B/hr or 600B/24 hrs need to be reviewed, especially when the nearby Four Seasons only charges 40B/hr.
When you choose a room, ask for one on the wing which doesn't face the Baiyoke Tower. That side hears the nightclub which can be quite loud in the living area, but ok in the bedroom when we closed the door.
Overall, highly recommended - we enjoyed our stay there.

Great location. Good view. All places are walkable.
Big Suite but smelly and not so good.
If market crowd is not your interest, don't bother with this hotel.

The deluxe room has a big bedroom and living area, although the bathroom is really small. Very clean, no noise problems if you are up high.
Breakfast is on the top (43rd) floor and has a great view of the skyline.
The location is great, you walk out into a market and the large shopping centers are all in walking distance
Pan tip Plaza (electronics and software) Pratnam Mall and Platinum Fashion Mall. 10 min.
Central world & Big C. 20 min.
Siam shopping centers and MBK. 30 min.
Breakfast is a bit average, and doesn't change.
We stayed a week and it never altered at all.
Forget about watching TV here. Really small TV and a really limited number of channels, and only 2 western channels (HBO, Discovery). Have had other hotel rooms that have had way more choice of channels.
The brochure tells you that hotel rooms have wireless internet, but they fail to tell you they charge you for it (the same price as expensive internet cafe's).
Overall our week long stay at Baiyoke Suite Hotel was pretty average. The rooms were clean and the location was good, but it is an older hotel and it shows. Breakfasts were adequate if not exciting. The space in the Deluxe room was certainly great if you are going to spend some time there.
TV channels were really limited, and the internet access was really expensive, for something most hotels include for free.
The staff were helpful. But don't let them try to organize a "special" taxi for you, we had one with a staff member and it was terrible. His car was no where as nice as the local taxi's and his driving was terrible. Local Taxi Meter are much better.

some of the interior stuff, looks old
when i check in, the bell boy ask me to go to the L floor, and they pick up my luggage. after that, i'm start check in, the reservation counter geet me well and serve as usually hotels do. but something is diffrent for the access for in-out hotel procedure, because the lift using room card to access. So i need to push in my room card for going to another level of this hotel. I was placed in 35th floor, the view also good.
Restaurant Tip : there is so many food seller near this hotel, there is speciality muslim's food restaurant near this hotel.

Need more light in the room
Need more lights in the room and I think that the furnitures is too old. It would be nice if the management give more attention for the rooms performance by lighten up the rooms or renew the furnitures. It's no use if only the lobby looks so good. Lucky that the staffs so nice

Near to the shopping centre
There is no Television in the bed room and no free internet.
I think for the hotel location is good for shopping or go somewhere and hope later they will give the free internet connection and for the breakfast is also good.
Shopping Tip : Near platinum shopping centre.

Good location for us to do our business buy. As it is a suite type, there are a lot of space in the living room.
Once u get down from Taxi, the flight of stairs is not user friendly. One has to carry your suitcase up and down the flight of stairs. If there are bell boys to assist would be good, else is a bit inconvenient. Not too near to BTS station.
We enjoyed staying in this hotel as it enables us to get our things within walking distance. Ample shopping malls, stalls, foodcourt for us to indulge in their local specialities. This place seems to be filled with happenings and you can almost shop 24/7 within the vicinity. A great place to stay and the only shortfall is if you take a taxi right from the hotel, the way out is normally congested and with heavy traffic. Hard to get taxi unless you are willing to pay their asking price. Also, the nearest BTS, Chit Lom is quite a distance away.
Shopping Tip : A great place to find good bargains.

Very close to the shopping area e.g. Pratunam Centre, World Trade Centre, wholesales market etc etc
Room is stuffy, bellboy services for luggage is bad, breakfast not much choice
The hotel is very near to the shopping area, but I'll not go back again because feel unconfortable of the room, in house lights are too dim. When we check in at 1pm, room is not ready, so we decided to go for shopping first, by the time we go back to the hotel again is almost 11.30pm, but the luggage is not in our room yet(receptionist promise to send our luggage to the room when room is ready) I keep calling to chase for our luggage for about 8 times, when the luggage reach our room is already 12.15am. Very bad experice that I have in this hotel

The shopping complexes located at the hotel itself. The room is spacious with a big living hall separated from the room. The breakfast is reasonably good, but there are rooms for improvement on the varieties. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel for being a strategic location for shopping. The hotel staff is very friendly.
You have to pay deposit for the safety deposit box in the room which supposed to be FOC. Should provide facial tissue for the room. Should repair the room curtains. The one that we stayed, the curtains is not able to close properly. Should provide extra pillow.
Overall I am satisfied with Baiyoke Suite Hotel. I was so surprised but glad that we are allowed to check in early even before 12 noon as the room is ready. The hotel is so strategic located in Pratunam, where shoppings is so convenient. Tuk Tuk are easily available anytime just outside the hotel. The hotel staff is so friendly, I will definitely be back again and will recommend to my friends.
Shopping Tip : The latest shopping plaza, Platinum Mall is just a walking distance from the hotel. Pratunam area itself is a shopping haven

Proximity to Pratnum market area, Pantip Plaza. Great views of the city
Good value
Slippery when wet entrance
Tired furnishings
My Father and I spent several days at Baiyoke suites. On arrival, the staff at the reception desk were very efficient in checking us in, explaining details of breakfast, internet access etc.
We given instructions for reaching our room and escorted to the lifts. We took our own bags (our choice) and proceeded to the allocated room.
On reaching the room we discovered the room only contained a double bed - totally unsuited to our needs (twin beds had been requested at booking). We proceeded back to reception, explained our situation (either I look old or my Dad young, we're still working that one out!!) and were very quickly assigned another room. This room met our needs with the bedroom comprising a queen bed and the "lounge" area a single bed.
Previous reviewers are correct in stating that the furnishings are a little on the old side, however, given what we paid per night and the space we had, it is still good value. The linen was clean and fresh. Each day we were supplied with fresh bottled water.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant. The views here were spectacular. The food was freshly cooked and always replenished. It would be someone hard to please that couldn't find something to eat - cereal, hot dishes, pancakes etc were on the menu. The hot dishes varied each day. The Baiyoke Sky is within a 5min walk and a meal in the restaurant on the 79th floor should not be missed. When we went were given a 50% discount because we were staying in one of the other Baiyoke hotels. Don't know if this is general practice.
Transport was readily available outside and the doorman was always helpful in obtaining taxis.
One warning! The tiles and steps leading from the footpath into the hotel are a highly glazed ceramic and were extremely slippery when wet. The hotel did attempt to keep them dry with towels, but this wasn't always successful, and my father did slip a couple of times (no injuries thank goodness).
The tour desk located inside the hotel accomodated us when
Restaurant Tip : Check out Baiyoke Sky (sister hotel) buffet dining with a possible discount
