Rooms are large and clean. Staff are very pleasant and speak good English.

Flight of steps to the ground floor. Luggage is taken by the bell boys immediately. Lobby is on the upper floor. So u do not see yr luggage until u reach yr room. Did not receive my luggage for awhile so complained to front office. I suggested that the bell boy shd bring d luggage to the lobby as there was no acknowledgement of my bag. One front off guy was rather rude and answered me that this was a 3 star hotel and not a 5 star hotel. Airport taxi could not locate this hotel despite repeated calls and with the location of the map given to him.

A very nice and comfortable hotel. Just abit congested going into the hotel area.

Travel tip : Sorry cant tell anything cos had stomach flu inBangkok. Hospital service is excellent.

Strategically located to shopping spots especially Pratunam is a well known wholesale street. Food stalls of local delights are just outside around on the street. Platinum is just 5 minutes walk away the largest wholesale especially for female garments. Staffs are friendly but beware of bellboy who tend to introduce taxi. Go out to the street for taxi by meter. We were in executive suite, second patron, previously in standard suite. Canot really spot the difference, despite one more tv in the bedroom. the rest are almost the same. Perhaps better design of furniture. Housekeeping did a very good job. The room were always made up real clean.

No free internet services even we were in executive suite. Do consider internet provision for better standard at such price of Executive.

Proud that my requests were almost fulfilled. Asked for king sized, brighter lighting, non smoking floor, better view. All were provided. Except that we were looking for iron and hair dryer.

Shopping Tip : Try Pratunam stalls and shoplets just outside the hotel. Bargain bargain and bargain. Platinum is a huge wholesaler market, bargain is not available, however 3 pieces or more u get wholesale price, which is really worth. Do spot for identical one each floor. Not everyone offers good price. Takes up one whole day or 2 to finish all. Operate 10am to 6pm. Isetan and Zen is about 10 minutes walk behind Platinum, both in the similar building distant to 2 wings, turn at the junction cross the bridge. Branded goods are all available at superb designs and values, remember for VAT refund, and even 5% discount card for original priced item. Consult on the 6th floor of both place.

Near to wholesale market.

Is the entrance. One have to carry their luggage down a flight of stairs.

I personally like this hotel as it is near to the wholesale market and is priced reasonably. Breakfast is pretty good too. I would suggest this hotel for people who loves to shop and not for those who wants to enjoy the facilities. Most guests who stayed here are doing their own business, and you would see them with big luggages in the lift and if you are particular, then this is not the hotel for you. Overall, I enjoy and love this hotel as I am a shopaholic.

The staffs in the hotel are friendly and the services they provived are to the acceptable standard for the amount of money we are paying.

The lights in the rooms is dim, it would be good if they constantly check on the blubs and change it.

The breakfast provided is limited and it is the same everyday. It would be good if there is something like daily special. The staffs are firendly and helpful. Just that the room is a little bit too dim. Some of the lights are not working and some are too dim.

Shopping Tip : There is no need to worry there is not enought things to get. Shop from early morning to mid night, there will be stalls outside the hotel. Shopping is the best over there for me and my friends.

The executive suite is very spacious at 55sqm

The furniture and design are a bit old

The breakfast is at 43th floor, which has a great view of the Bangkok city. I managed to see both the day view (10am) and the night view ( 5.30am) and its fabulous. The location is great, right at Pratunam market. The customer service could be better, they were quite stupid, as they couldnt even read instructions off a pre-paid SIM card well.

Shopping Tip : Between Baiyoke Sky and Baiyoke Suite there is a market which sell good value stuff till midnight.

Location, spacious, clean and friendliness.

Traffic conditions of surrounding roads.

It was my second stay with the Baiyoke hotels and Suite did not disappoint. Check-in was a breeze and my preferred room request was met. The room card access feature in the lifts gave a sense of security against strangers and the in-room safe was a gem to have for storing documents and valued items. The executive suite is spacious and can easily house more than the 3 of us comfortably in the room. The breakfast came with a view of the Bangkok skyline as it is served on the 43rd floor. The travel desk was helpful and the costs is within my budget.

Shopping Tip : The garment centres are not open on Sundays, avoid a visit as there are only a handful of shops opened and a lot more street vendors in the evenings and over the weekend.

We were upgraded to Suite Room upon check-in as the normal standard room is full.

The aircon in the bed room is very noisy even though the room is being renovated but the aircon is still those old type aircon. The buffet breakfast is so so, every day the same type of food, very bored. I also realized that the room- maid did not clean the floor every day. We dropped the food on the floor, 3 days later we still can see the food stain on the same place. The room maid is not well trained, she always forget to top up things that we need daily; such as drinking water, shower cap, toilet rolls and etc...

Overall this hotel is very convenient for those who like shopping as it is located in Pratunam whole sale market area and also near to Platinum Shopping certer, Prantip Plaza (IT Mall). It is very crowded during the day as many people come round for shopping. Walking around this area is not easy as we have to squeeze through many people including motor bikes and cars on the road that very conjunctive. However, you can get most of the things you want in this wholesale market.

Shopping Tip : There are free shuttle buses, vans from Baiyoke Sky Hotel (the same group as Baiyoke Suite Hotel)to the famous shopping malls; such as, Siam Discovery, Siam Square and MBK.

- Location in the heart of Pratunam Market - Near Platinum Mall, Siam Square - HUGE, Really, HUGE room, clean & comfortable - Excellent service from staff - Reasonably priced rooms

- No direct lobby exit. - difficult for taxi to go there

I enjoyed my stay at Baiyoke Suite Hotel. The staff there were excellent. I had requested for late check-out at 4pm as my flight was at 7pm and they immediately approved it without any charges. Room service was excellent and although the free breakfast was the same for the four days, it was a decent spread; If your main intention is to shop and visit Dreamworld, Safari, etc, then its a good hotel to stay in. I would definately go there again. 5 stars from me.

Shopping Tip : - Platinum Shopping Mall - Pratunam Market - Indra Shopping Mall - MBK Plaza - Siam Square

Room service functioned well. They did bring you stuff you needed. Room was clean and tidy, heater worked, and so did air-conditioner. Toilets were in a reasonable condition.

Room service was S.L.O.W.

This was my second stay at the Baiyoke Suite Hotel. The room service was slow as it was a year and a half ago, but it worked. Room was clean and tidy as i expected. Don't listen to all the talk about spooky Baiyoke. Its just old and needs refurbishing for the normal rooms. I upgraded to the suite for my last 2 nights of stay, and it was awesome compared to the normal room. Furnishing was different, and the tele had a proper cable though the majority of channels were in Thai. Even the lift lobby looked different. These suites are located on the higher floors, so that meant better views too. A pity the building is covered in dust, else excellent pictures can be captured from the rooms.

Shopping Tip : Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall

scrambled eggs for breakfast. must have at breakfast.

Expect better shower system.

Given the upgrade of my room to a suite, things looked rosier. Even the toilet looked so much better. However, it would not be in a condition that you would want to have a hot bath in, given the looks of the bath tub. The hotel is located at a excellent location, and shopping is literally at your doorstep. In fact, the hotel shares space with a wholesale mall just below it. Don't expect dirt cheap prices there though, unless you buy in bulk *3 to 6 pieces minimum.

Restaurant Tip : Don't bother eating at fancy restaurants in the vicinity. Instead, opt for trawling the back alleys behind the hotel, crammed full of tuk-tuks and all sorts of vehicles and people pushing carts which double as Make-shift stalls. Try the fried chicken, Grilled meat, traditional thai dishes with rice, etc. Nothing beats a good old take-away to the spacious Baiyoke room for a hearty meal. And yes, you may source your Chang/Leo/Singha beer from the 4 7-Elevens within 100m of the hotel. I kid you not.

Big and spacious

Very poor lighting in the rooms, made it look dim. Air-con was working poorly, bathtub was very small, staff was rud

Value for money for budget travellers. However, if you want a hotel with better facilities or better looking rooms, i suggest boutique hotels nearby at similar prices. Hotel pool and gym were in very poor condition. Service was also not top notch. I only recomend taking the executive suite if you are coinsidering staying at this hotel.

Bedroom is spacious. Best location if you love shopping. Nice city view at 43rd floor for your buffet breakfast.

Bathroom is small and in need of upgrading.

Your first impression of the hotel may not be great when the entrance to the hotel is through the basement lift and the hotel front jam packed with stalls and passing cars. The executive room i was staying is spacious although the bathroom need to be improved. However, if you love bargain shopping more than anything else, i will strongly recommend that you stay at this hotel for the excellent location.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I suggest that you stay with the taxi or sky train whenever possible if you need to travel around the city. You have to be wary if you choose other mode of transportation. Taxi fare is very much cheaper if they use meter. However, it's still comparatively cheaper than other neighbouring countries even if you have to negotiate the fare with the driver.

The closest hotel to one of Bangkok's shopping districts. I consider one of the best hotels for the budget conscious.

The big crowd drains your energy.

Baiyoke Suites is best for the budget shoppers. It is situated at the heart of Pratunam where a lot of bargain items are available. The buffet breakfast can sustain you for a day of walking and shopping. Don't worry about eating too much breakfast, you'll burn it when you do your shopping. Street food is too good to pass. Try their Phad Thai and also their fried chicken. And don't forget to drink their freshly squeezed orange juice.
