good for shopping, within walking distance to Erawan Shrine and Central World.
the room interior is a bit old.
once you step out of the hotel, you can shop till you drop. turn right and walk a few mins to reach the platinum mall, a wholesale shopping center and there is Pantip Plaza if you prefer IT stuff.
It is within walking distance to Erawan Shrine and also the Cetral World Plaza.
Breakfast is not bad just it served the same food daily.
if you stay in this hotel, do not need to arrange for any airport transfer, you could just hitch on a taxi meter and it cost only around 350-400 Thai Baht.
Restaurant Tip : remember to go to its bigger brother hotel - Baiyoke Sky for buffet dinner / rooftop view of city of Bangkok.

Superb location
Spacious rooms
Good service
Value for money
Shabby rooms and elevators
Too much staff use of elevators
Permeating cigarette smell in corridors
Cold breakfasts
Early in June this year my wife and I stayed atBaiyoke Suites Hotel, Bangkok for the fourth time in recent years. Little has changed in that time.
The street access is far from ideal as one needs to negotiate a steep flight of steps to gain access from the street to the front doors. However, porters are usually prompt and courteous in their assistance. Most cab drivers do not know, or do not want to know that access to the lobby, which is surprisingly on the 5th floor, can be effected through the adjacent parking building, obviating the steps mentioned above.
Once out of the impressive lobby the need for total interior refurbishment becomes apparent.Although the rooms are spacious, reasonably clean, and with fittings of a god standard, they are really rather shabby and cry out for a drastic makeover. Carpets are stained and chipped paintwork predominates. This, though, is largely cosmetic and the overall cleanliness is satisfactory. Dusting and vacuuming are conscientiously done, and we have never seen any sign of insect life.
If one is a non-smoker, it pays to request a non-smoking room. This, however, will not guantee a smoke-free environment, as corridors often are permeated by a thick fug of cigarette odour. Management would do well to ensure a more effective separation of the areas.
There is a good range of dining options at reasonable prices. The 43rd floor buffet is particularly good value. In the same area the complimentary breakfast is available, with an excellent variety of foods. Unfortunately, the food containers do not hold their heat as even so-called hot dishes are cold, even by 6:30am. Apart from that the restaurant affords panoramic views across Bangkok, and for those not afflicted by vertigo, this is a big plus.
The main reason we continue to stay at this hotel is its location. Just outside the front door are the Pratunam Markets, easily the best in central Bangkok. 500 metres walk away is the more upmarket Isetan Centre, with all the designerwear
Shopping Tip : Don`t forget the indoor section of Pratunam markets. You`ll be expected to bargain and often will purchase for half the asking price. However, do not insult the vendor. If your offer is agreed to, never walk away. A day`s first sale can generate an excellent discount. Check price ranges before offering.

The service was good and staff were helpful and happy. The 24 hour coffee shop served great meals which were cheap and good value for money, we had at least 1 meal there everyday.
The rooms are old but spacious. The wardrobes are in poor condition and the bathroom is very old and needs work. But everything is clean. Buffet breakfast needs some work, food not always hot only warm to cold
The service was good and staff were helpful and happy. The 24 hour coffee shop served great meals which were cheap and good value for money, we had at least 1 meal there everyday. Hotel is clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was OK but not great. Overall this is a good economical hotel to stay in which is also in a great location.
Hotel Feature Tip : They don't supply much coffe and tea, need to buy your own.

Good location, good staff, room is big, view is nice.
old room, internet rate is so expensive
I was suprised with the internet rate of some hotels like this in Bangkok 200B/hour. In case we use the computer in the deparment store like paragon only 40-60B/hour. Room is big but quite old. Not cold enough with the conditioner.
Shopping Tip : In the city centre, near market and shopping malls.

room is quite old, the receptionists aren't very friendly, the conditioner is not cool enogh.
The room is old but the view is good. Internet rate here is unexceptable (200B/hour) when we only pay 40B-60B/hour even in department store.
Shopping Tip : Near pratunam.

Location, very friendly staff.Manager is first class in Customer Service.Great value for money
Transport not provided to and from airport as an additional service
I love staying at this hotel due to its location which is in a busy shopping area. The staff are very helpful , nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant on the 43rd floor makes great dining.Rooms are so spacious and comfortable as they are suites instead of just rooms.

Best Location !!!!!! Prattuman markets at the door of hotel. Pantip plaza 5 min walk. Nice hotel clean friendly staff
Breakfast could have been better
I have already recommended this hotel to close friends and family as i really enjoyed my time here. Best thing about this hotel is location location location. The hotel also has a pool which comes in handy after a long days shopping in the market. Great for parents with teenage kids as the market is right outside the hotel so the kids can go off and shop. Really great local and western food available.

Around the hotel, there're many food venders and tailor shops.
Furnitures are a little bit old. Airconditioner in restaurant was too strong.
Stayed with 2 kids (5yrs and 2yrs old). The room was big enough even for kids running around or playing with toys. All staff were friendly and helpful. Morning buffet was so nice especially boiled rice with shrimp ! Cost performance was very good. We gonna stay here again next time.
Shopping Tip : pratunam market, many tailor shops (including kids' clothes)

the lobby is very clean and the staff are attentive.
The common areas in the floor hallways are low ceiling giving a cramped feeling.
The hotel is centrally located for shopping. The rooms are big and the air conditioning system is very good. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the rooftop restaurant gives a breathtaking view of Bangkok. I love Baiyoke Suites and will stay there again when I visit Bangkok next year.
Shopping Tip : wake up very early - by 6am, in front of the hotel, there are more than 50 small stalls along the street selling clothes and various items very very cheap. They are there up to around 9:30am everyday. BY 10am they disappear to resurface the next early morning. Happy shopping!

The main reason we stayed here was the views, the restaurant is on the 43rd floor and it was amazing at breakfast. The food was great and there was a big choice on the buffet. The rooms are all suites and are very clean.
The view is spoilt only by the fact Beiyoke have built a bigger hotel next door! The dinner looked great but the vegetarian options were egg fried rice or vegetable and egg fried rice - not so great for such a big place. The internet is 600Baht an hour!
We decided to stay in this hotel as soon as we heard about the restaurant and it didn't disappoint views wise, an breakfast was lovely. Dinner wasn't so good as it was pricey but had nothing we veggies could eat but sides of rice. The rooms were very clean and the reception looks gorgeous. The staff are very professional and will try and help with most things, but they don't have a lot of experience helping you if you are going on to another place and the in house travel agent is overpriced. The internet access at the hotel is great as there's a wifi broadcasting in every room - but it costs 600 Baht an hour and when you can go to a cyber cafe and pay only 20-40 Baht for an hour it is ridiculously overpriced. Don't forget to visit the shops on floors 1-5, they say wholesale but will do you an excellent deal retail.
Shopping Tip : The first 5 floors of Beiyoke suite and Beiyoke Sky are great for shopping.
