Clean room but the design looks pretty old.

On an overall, this hotel is statisfactory and the pricing is very attractive.
However, the design and furnishing are old as compared to the Bally's Studio Suites Silom Hotel.
In terms of location, it is not very accessible (to BTS station). Nonetheless, the hotel provides free TuTu service between 9am to 5pm to send the guests to the main road for BTS.
Many taxis do not know about the hotel and I have to make sure i am familiar with both Soi 20 & Soi 22, so that I can direct the taxi drivers.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 - nice shopping mall not to be missed.

Lovely hotel but far from main road

Was pleased with the staff there, they were all so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location was good, with all the party places quite near within the vicinity. Overall a very pleasant experience!

My go to hotel in Bangkok. Located in quiet road off Sukhumvit Road, about 1 km to Sukhumvit. All rooms have flat screen TVs, safe, internet, balconies, microwaves, plates, glasses and silverware. Staff is nice and friendly. A lot of people stay long time and basically live there. Restaurant and in room drinks are good and cheap. OK gym and nice small infinity pool with pleasant view.
Shopping Tip:
Go to Pantip Plaza on Petchaburi Road; it is a computer super mall.

the hotel was a excllent find.we were given a big room very nice. the hotel was very good all round. nice pool on the 6th floor. the location was good as you were only a short walk into soi 22 were you could find very good places to eat and drink. will go back again.
Travel tip:
if you are driving there go to soi 22 to get there as if you go to soi 20 you come to a one way soi were the hotel is.

Quiet hotel, fab staff!

The hotel is quite far down Soi 20 but that just means it is quiet and peaceful. The look of the hotel from the outside isn't great but inside was a good surprise. Room was big with big medium hard beds. No view outside and the shower was handheld, but very good. The main thing is the staff. The man on the door in the day is a delight and took us in a tuk tuk to the end of Soi 20 n the day time for free. On a budget this is a good hotel.
Shopping Tip:
Treminal 21 is a high end shopping centre with a twist! Visit here for shops and attractions. Walking distance from soi 2.

This is my second stay at Bally's. First was as a solo traveller. This time as part of a couple. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Somewhere pleasant to return at the end of a tiring day. The hotel staff are so helpful especially the girls at reception. They are knowledgeable about Bangkok. I must mention Miss Pemika at this point who speaks very good English and was always so eager to give assistance on directions, shopping, and anything else we needed to know about.
The room was spotless and everything worked. It's good to have a DVD player in the room too.
Bally's own tuk tuk was in operation this time, making the trip to Aspok station very easy. It's a bit of a walk in the heat otherwise.
Another excellent stay - thank you all at Bally's for making it special.
Restaurant Tip:
P kitchen just down from the Rembrandt hotel. Good food and reasonable too. Room service at Bally's is fine too if you are too tired to go out! Try their green chicken curry.

stay was good. extended our stay by a day. that's when we discovered the hotel charges were much lower than the charge by Agoda gp. Agoda charged us Rs. 4563 for 2 nights where as we paid only Rs.1260 for the extended day!!! A difference of Rs. day!!!

very impressed with rooms for the price, but it's a 10 minute walk to the main street. you can hire a motorcycle taxi (20 baht), tuk tuk (40 baht), or taxi (35 baht)to take you to the main road/bts train station.
