excellent hotel/room and very quiet apart from the nearby construction during daytime. Very fast ethernet internet (relative to Thailand). Excellent staff. However, to get to the hotel, you need a cab or tuc tuc especially if you are have done a lot of shopping and carrying lots of bags
Travel tip:
Catch the train to Asok then come down and take a tuc tuc from the corner of sukhumvit 20 to the hotel for 30 baht

The hotel is good if you are with your family. it looks like it has a full kitchen but really only has a sink and microwave. The pool is small but nice and the fitness room is good

Bally’s Studio Suites Sukhumvit Hotel

This is not my 1st time staying at this hotel. The reason for my coming back is basically because of the rate they offered. It is a clean hotel, friendly staffs and very efficient house keepers. It is quite a distance to walk to the nearest BTS station and quite dirty with the few constructions going around the area.
Hotel Feature Tip:
For taxi convenience, it is better to access thru Soi 22 instead.

This was a great stay, especially as it was a promotional rate.
There is not much to say about the room, as most is said already. We were lucky, and had a nice room, leaving us without reason to complain, especially considering the price mentioned above. Some people mentioned the address should be Soi22 instead of Soi20, which I can not fully understand, as Bally Suites is just at the end of Soi20. If you come with lots of luggage, or your own car, then you better approach from Soi22, enter the small one-way between Admiral Suites and the 7/11.

Shopping Tip:
Go to the nightmarket by the park (Lumphini or something). You can get the underground from Asok station straight there. Cheap cheap cheap!!!

At first the hotel's location had me peeved, tucked away down the end of soi 20, but once I arrived and went inside I could see just how much quality this hotel had to offer.
A 5 minute walk down soi 20 or a quick taxi ride and your right on Sukhumvit road.
The staff were exceptional and were always there to help with any enquiries, the rooms were lush, large, spacious and fully equipped.
On the last day of my stay I forgot my iphone, I had left it on the bed.. I rang the hotel to check for me and the arranged for a taxi to bring my phone to me at the airport!!!
Amazing!!!! Thank you so much!!
I will definately be going back again very soon!

My room needed renovating

I have stayed in this hotel more than a dozen times over the last few years and have always found it to offer value for money. This time how ever I stayed in the old wing (room 803) and found it extremely tired. The chairs (cloth covered) were dirty and stained. Several bathroom tiles were broken and should have been replaced. The carpet had several nasty stains that should have been removed. The headboard was marked and needed replacing and the wall in the enterace needed repainting. My advise is to always stay in the new wing or not at all.
Nightlife Tip:
A 5 minute walk up Soi 22 to "Washington Square" where I always find great drinking bars full of Ex-Pats and loverly Ladies

Cabled internet in room, balconies in each room, all rooms have DVD players, safes, microwaves, utensils and plates, suitable for long term stay, new rooms have new furniture, new kitchen fixtures, flat screen TVs, hardwood floors, quiet AC. Rooftop infinity pool, small gym. Room service is good, breakfast is adequate, staff is friendly. 9-5 shuttle service to Sukhumvit Road, which is about 1 km from hotel. 1 side of the hotel fronts noisy construction, otherwise very quiet hotel. Good value for money.
Shopping Tip:
Emporium Shopping Center on Soi 24 is fairly solid, good shops and restaurants.
