Great apartment
Location. Close to Silom Rd but relatively quiet. Great sized apartment. Very good staff. Excellent restaurant.

I've stayed at Bandara Suites (formerly Chin House) many times now. It is always excellent. Rooms are big and well equipped. Staff are always very friendly. Location is great. It's about 5 minutes walk from Silom Road but down a quiet Soi off Saladaeng. I can't fault it. It has a couple of coffee shops very close. That's always important!

All and all we enjoyed our stay at the Bandara suites. It was in a good location and only walking distance from Patpong which is good for shopping and nightlife. The hotels restaurant was fantastic and the staff could not do enough. The breakfast was very good too. I was shocked at the price of the calls from the room and bottled evian water was well over priced so stick to the free bottled water that they provide on a daily basis.

Great location
The hotel is in the center in a great location, there're 2 swimming pools, the appartment in the Chin building a very big and spacious.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

At first we got a suite facing the construction site which works 24/7, and after asking to switch rooms the immediately applied and moved us to a quieter room.
The rooms are very big in the Chin building (2 bedrooms suite), but smaller in the new building.
The swimming pool is nice.
The only problem was the ants all over the kitchen (in both suites), and even after they sprayed the entire suite, the problem remained.
There's a big supermarket in the Siam Center, 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and the central world is 10 minutes in taxi, assuming there's no traffic.

The Bandara suites are by far one of the best deals in Bangkok. perfect location, great staff and a great value for money.
It's a real "home away from home" feel, more than just another hotel. comfortable and simple, without the unnecessary frills that usually jack up the price in other places.
However, The rooms in the second building "chin house" are a bit outdated, no central aircon, and all of the suites are smokers (and smell like it) the breakfast is an outrage at 500 Baht per person, There's a great little place "Peony" next door with good breakfast for decent prices.

Discovering the 'back door' to the Bandara was a blessing, as this cut 5 minutes off the time needed to walk to Silom Road. It's secure - you open it with your key card - and convenient!
When we were trying to confirm the location of this years International Dance and Music Festival the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and quickly tracked it down. They were also helpful in shoing us the quickest way there through rainy Saturday evening traffic.

I have stayed at the Bandera Suites (EX Chin House ) on numerous occasions and enjoy the hotel and its' great location.The standard rooms are OK for the price and the two bedroomed suites are very comfortable when you are staying in town with friends/family.Bandera need to employ a system where they recognise past guests....it is always pleasant to hear the reception staff say "welcome back"

Enjoyed the many Restaurants in easy walking distance to the Hotel.

As soon as we came to the hotel we could check in, a warm welcome.
Once arrived in the room we switched on the tv and we got a nice movie of the hotel and its facilities. The roomservice is very good too, the towels and even the shampoo and shower gel smells very good. Just next to it is a spa, a very nice and quiet place, the service in the spa was very welcoming and we experienced a very good and relaxing moment.
A very nice clean and friendly hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
In fornt of the hotel is a very good resaturant "Maison Chin". Good food and nice prices aswel.

I stayed in Standard 2 bedroom suite.
really feel dirty.
1) Yellowish stain on the toilet pad
2) found others underwear inside the wardrobe
3) Some cigarette ash on the table near the ashtray
4) found cockroach egg inside the drawer
5) some oil stain on the bed
6) Hairdryer was supposed to be in the suite, but searched the whole room, still could not find. only found several used underwear and cockroach eggs. Called the reception, they said they would ask the house keeping to send. but waited for the whole night, no one sent... the next day, call the reception again. they said it should be next to the safe box in the wardrobe. i found my room also has no safe box too.
7) the whole toilet got wet after shower.
8) black stain around the bath tub, i wonder why there is no mushroom!
9) the furniture is very worn... like staying in my grandad's home
10) mirror of the wardrobe facing the bed , well, maybe someone like it, but i dont like
nowaday the hotel in bkk is so cheap, can find better room.. well, at least CLEAN!!!!!!! maybe it would be better for the deluxe room, but the management and the maintaince of the hotel counts a lot for a good hotel
