Silom is business district so not heaps of restaurants and massage places close by. But enough selection. On site restaurant is good and a variety of other price ranges within close walking distance. Location is close to transport links and very central. Nice pool spa area and immaculate apartment. Overall, I really enjoyed coming back to this hotel and relaxing there.

excellent hotel with nice facilities
large sized bedroom with nice decoration and appliances, very comfortable and adorable
services are excellent
physical fitness, jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool are in excellent conditions
breakfast is superb
location is in proximity of entertainment areas such as patpong street, lumpini park.
i highly recommend this hotel.

only cons is need to take 10mins walk back to hotel.
hotel provide free tuk tuk to send you to station which can you can request at reception.

check in was fast and hassle free and after 22 hours in transit you do not want to be delayed to finish "getting there". we were given a cool drink and refreshing lemon scented cloths to wipe the nervous sweat from our faces upon arrival. our 1 bedroom suite was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. with so many hotels in bkk choosing one that does'nt disappoint can be a challenge. i brought my 22 year old daughter on her first real trip that was not a spring break party fest. i wanted her and i to have decent accommodation for our first two nights in thailand. the buffet breakfast was really nice with asian, european, north american fare.. i really appreciated this because my daughter is a finicky eater,....and she loved all that she ate and ate heartily! by coincidence we met a fellow at the airport who had stayed at this hotel and recommended it. it will help to print off a map from the web to give your taxi driver as the hotel is on a side street and not on a major soi, and a phone number as well so they can call the desk and get homed in. the desk will give you a small card for taxi drivers for this reason, pretty usefull. the pool and fitness room are great but the jacuzzi could have been hotter, but who needs a jacuzzi anyway when it is 30 degreesc! i would stay here again and if it is your first time in bkk it won't disappoint.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get a price from your tuk tuk driver before you step in. If using a taxi insist they put the meter on. ( guaranteed to be more than half a quoted price)

we were given a smoking room and non smoker like me felt the difference when i first step into the room. roaches on the street particularly at night.
Restaurant Tip:
There is Silom Complex within walking distance where there are plentiful restaurants to choose from.
