The hotel staffs were really friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was really convenient due to the proximity of the MRT station.

The room I stayed in was rather old and you can tell from the fittings in the bathroom which really need improvement. The walls are really thin since every morning and night, I can hear my room neighbours opening their door, switching tv channels and flushing their toilets. I do not have any peaceful sleep because of this.

Although the location was great, but the fact that the room was rather old and having noise disturbances from next rooms, it really made the whole stay uncomfortable.

Room 8016 was clean and nicely presented on entry.

The bathroom really needs to be rebuilt. It is OKbut on the low end of Ok with gaps and broken tiles etc.

Daily room maintenance was OK. The loction beside the MRT was handy. Breakfast was good but the same music every day for 8 days was really boring. Dinner was OK. Service was good and friendly. This was my 6th trip to BKK and I would stay at Bankok Centre Hotel again -if we were put on the 8th or similar top floor again.

MRT station just in front of the hotel, Airport express stop also near (behind hua lampong st), pier walking distance about 15 minutes away.

away from city centre, quiet area I think

if you like the night life, buzy surrounding, not fit to you but if you like quiet environment and easiness to transportation, this hotel is right for you.

Shopping Tip : suam lum night bazaar is just few minutes by MRT, take hua lampong from in front of the hotel and get down on lumpini st

Centre near Main railway station. Nice views if you get upper floor.

Only for business people. Reception not friendly but almost correct

Upon presenting our Agoda printout, the receptionist questionned its validity. Not a word of welcome, if not for the trainees who were very friendly and enthusiastic a complaint should be lodged. Standard rooms are ok size but smell of smoke. Bathroom should be modernised. An old soviet era phone was in ours. Mold and mildew everywhere. Breakfast was so so. The fruit juice was not even as good as Chemical juice. It was bland and tasteless. If the railway station and Chinatown were not so close, we would've have booked elsewhere. The walls are thin enough that you can hear someone flushing the toilet. The remarks about the dirty windows panes are true. Lots of glitz and glamour on the inside but the content needs to be upgraded.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Chinatown very near.Main railway station is near if you are staying overnight which is preferable

Hotel is clean and most important is nearby the train station

swimming pool need to go up to 3rd floor to reach the entrance of the swimming pool

well in Bangkok, travel by taxi is the best alternative cause the taxi charge by meter and morever after midnight is normal charge.Tuk-tuk, not recomended. They simply name the price and when we have no choice, we pay the heavy price.Shopping wise, recomended to go the night bazarr cause need not to buy in bulk to get cheap price.Shopping centre not recomended cause its expensive.

Travel tip : convenient to travel, nearby train station.

For the price this is an excellent choice of hotel for me as I use it regularly as a base to travel on by the rail.

There is little for me to criticise, however, although there is a pool it is rather small and uninviting.

I have used the hotel three times and find no reason not to keep returning. Once in Thailand I do travel by rail and find the hotel very convenient for the main Hua Lampong railway station. Many of my journeys begin as early as 5.00am and I have never failed yet to receive a wake up call; a breakfast and then "stroll" over the road to the railway statio. Any later and the traffic dictates that you walk underground by way of the very local MRT (subway). I have stayed at the hotel for several nights and find that I get good value for money. My main criticism - similar to most other hotels I have stayed in - is the poor tv reception and dare I say there is not sufficient english content.

Shopping Tip : Chinatown (walking) and the Suan Lum night bazaar (one MRT stop) they should not be missed.

the hotel is located next to BTS station, and so it's not dangerous for us to go back in the midnight.

especially nothing.

there is nothing bad, however, there are very few electrical outlets in the guest room. they have a small swimming pool so that we have nothing to do at hotel in the daytime. the breakfast is so-so. the most of staff are friendly.

clean, kind staff

bathrooms are old

The hotel is located in an ideal position near Bangkok railways station and Chinatown. Subway is just out of the hotel. It takes just 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. Rooms are not big but clean and staff is kind. Breakfast is reach. There is a clean swimming-pool. I would stay there again.

Some wood sculpture is nice at the reception area, rooms are confortable, most important is it don't have any foul smell. I like the location since its just behind the MRT station, its convenient for both my wife and me to get to places we like.

Some point to highlight will be the windows pane needs to be clean so we can have a clear view outside. Perhaps some local news papers can be provided at the waiting lounge.

There have been very much improvements of the hotel from before, and I find it very nice and international touch over the front office. This is very improtant impression for any tourist, and even my local partner made a commendable remark. The facelift did give us a feeling of confort, while the 24 hour restaurant means that when customers arriving late night and they can get some warm food, it fullfill their requirements. Thank you.

Very clean; room in good condition; aircon, which can be regulated; swimming pool

Unnecessarily expensive hotel-taxis; nobody at the Reception desk understands their wifi connection - no able to give a help; good or bad preparation of dinner depends on the cook\n

It is a bit funny in hotel of higher level, as the Bangkok Centre is, that they require a paper confirmation for the breakfast (breakfast is included in the price). Are there any homeless people going to eat their breakfast? :-)

Shopping Tip : The metro goes directly from hotel to the Chatuchak Market.

Location

Breakfast was bad, and the room was not clean.

We picked the hotel because we were taking the train to and from Chiang Mai and the Bangkok Centre Hotel was just across the road from the train station. That was probably the only thing good about the hotel. The staff were unfriendly, the rooms were dirty, service was poor (room was not cleaned even when we asked them to). The Breakfast was terrible with the fruit and eggs being stale and nothing that was edible.

Travel tip : The tuk tuk is cheaper to MBK / Siam Square than the train. They take you for 5 - 10 Baht if you agree to stop at a souvenir shop (even without buying) for a few min. If you want to go direct, it still costs on 40 Baht, against the train fare of 37 Baht. The taxis in the area also negotiate a good rate to the airport - we managed to get a cab for 300 baht, which was the same as the cost of the airport bus for 2 people

Located very close to Hualamphong Railway Station

Breakfast was bad and rooms on the 11th floor were very dirty. The second time, we had a room on the 6th floor which was refurbished and much cleaner. Checkout beyond 1 p.m. costs 1000 Baht

We returned to this place after 10 years. The standards have dropped quite a bit. We stayed twice during Oct - the first on the 11th floor was a terrible room, while the second on the 6th floor was better. My wife could not eat the breakfast at all - greasy and cold omlettes, limited choice. What we liked was the early check in and easy access to subway and the train station. Airport bus A4 drops you at the train station.

Travel tip : It is less expensive to take a tuk tuk to MBK / Siam than the train. The tuk tuks charge 5 baht only if you stop at a jewellery showroom for a few minutes (without buying)and 40 baht if you don't want to stop. Train costs 74 baht one way for 2 people. You can also negotiate with cabs to take you to the airport for 300 baht, which is the same as the cost of the airport bus.
