Around the hotel is the nightlife area, so the hotel is not very suitable for families.
Restaurant Tip : Near the hotel, there's one good seafood restaurant open till late. The prices are reasonable and there is variety in the menu.

Unobstructed views from higher floors, 10th floor up. No smoking floors. Left luggage services good without charge.
Shopping Tip : Close to Robinson, Carrerfour and Jusco. Lots of choices for local food stores.

On the whole, I have to recommend this hotel due to the price, cleanliness, location and the staff. Not many negatives on the whole. If you a looking for somewhere to stay that is not near all the fuss and nightary entertainment of Sukhomvit (particularly for families), i recommend this hotel.

This hotel is near Metro station ( 5 minutes walk ) and the price is very reasonable. I didn't feel any bad point about this hotel. This hotel is my favorite and usual hotel. I have stayed there many times...The location is good ( It is near the metro .) I didn't feel any bad point there.
Shopping Tip : As the hotel is near the metro, you can go anywhere in the central area for shopping by metro. So..The location is good.

Located close to the MRT. I found the best way to get about was to use meter cabs in the morning and the MRT in the eveningwhen the traffic was really heavy. A trip to MBK in a meter taxi will set you back less than 100 Baht.

The MRT is only a three-minute-walk north from the hotel. It's excellent, easy and cheap. Best way to get to the river is to take the MRT to Hualumphong station and then get a tuk tuk to the Royal Orchid Hotel. To the right of the RO hotel is the ferry stage to cross the river. There's a good all-day market on the opposite bank. Get the ferry back across and go to the other side of the RO hotel and you will find public ferry pier 3, from which you can sightsee/journey up and back down the river.
Restaurant Tip : There are two restaurants within 100 yards either side of hotel. Cheap.
