Excellent location . Pleasantly surprised

We stayed only one night as we just wanted to be close to the start of a mini marathon at central world. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from there. We were surprised with the hotel , the cleanliness, the room size, the reception, the breakfast every thing was great and for only $30 or 1000 baht just unbelievable. It is a real find . A safe location, a decent, professional and spotlessly clean hotel.
Shopping Tip:
This is really the shoppers area. You can virtually walk to the major shopping areas of Bangkok. Come out of the hotel walk to the main street turn right and you will get to Pratanum markets and Pantip. Turn left and you can easily walk to Siam paragon in 15 minutes. Oh yes and central is just across the road.

This hotel very near to siam shopping center like Palladium, central world, Siam Paragon, Big C Center, Erawan Shrine (The four Face of Buddha), Amarin Plaza, Gaysorn, Platinum and Platinum World
we just walk for approx. 20-30 minutes to Interchange Siam or Chip Lom Bangkok Sky Train BST

Great location and friendly front office team
Well connected with sky bridge and to BTS, very useful during peak hour to & fro to hotel after shopping

Unable to secure higher floor & view prior to registering eventhough informed. Rooms on lower floor furnishing and fittings need to be upgraded for long term business. The airconditioning works well.Cleanliness is acceptable with daily room services by housekeeping team. Will come back again but would prefer high floor with front view.
Restaurant Tip:
Convenient there is a nice thai restaurants serving thai and fusion thai food right in front of hotel, very reasonable price for lunch & dinner. For coffee lovers there plenty of coffee shops available.

Strategic Inn, but Cab drivers dont know it.

As expected there was free wifi, hot water was available in the shower, 2 free bottles of water per day, breakfast was typical western with a few local dishes.
had a problem with air conditioning that turned itself off, but that got fixed.
Travel tip:
Stay here if you plan to shop at Platinum Mall, it is just across the road.
Lovely food nearby, famous Chicken Rice, and a bunch of 4-5 restaurants that have Salted Grilled Fish between Platinum Mall and Central World near the bridge.

It is locationed in the shopping area. A few mintues walk to subway (BTS). You can also walk to Railway station.
Besides, there is a big super market (Big C) located just beside the hotel

Small and old hotel but surprisingly it has wifi. Was a great trip cos the hotel is so near to all amenities. Just few mins walk over to central, even can take bts near by. It's worth of the value, no doubt the room's decor is old. Think they shud need to upgrade the room toilet. But the staffs are helpful and friendly.

Staff made me feel welcome and were always keen to assist with directions and suggestions. Hotel is surrounded by street markets, department shopping and other forms of entertainment nearby

Hotel is in great location. close to the Shopping area and also easy to get a public transportation eg. boat, tuk tuk, taxi and also sky train. a lot of foods stall along the street
The building quite old but is clean. Hotel's staffs also very helpful.
recomended for those like shopping and looking for budget hotel.
