The hotel is very strategically located in the center of the shopping paradise, just off the main road from Central World mall. It's also walking distance to Pratunam Center, Platinum Fashion Mall, Siam Center, Siam Paragon and MBK mall. It’s the perfect location for those that are here for the shopping. Hotel itself is pretty adequate - clean comfy beds, running hot water shower and nice cold air-conditioning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, willing to help you out in anything that you need. Breakfast is pretty standard, with a mix of Thai and Western dishes. Hotel is a bit on the old side, and it could do with a new coat of paint and a change of carpeting. Many taxi and tuk-tuk drivers did not know the hotel, and on more than one occasion we were taken to the Bangkok City Suite Hotel instead. Keep a map handy to avoid this mistake. There is a 7-Eleven right around the corner, very ideal for buying drinks and snacks and the like. Also, right across the street from the 7-Eleven (and next to the Central World mall) is a row of roadside food stalls that serve very tasty Thai food for dinner - well worth a try. On the whole, I would recommend this hotel as the perfect place for those looking for a comfortable budget hotel that is centrally located for shopping.

well located near the shopping malls (platinum fashion mall, central world, zen, Big C), cineplexes (central world, Big C), 10 min to BTS station, has a nice spa just opposite of the hotel could be newer, but then again, this is a budget hotel, the room is clean enough so no major complaints Hotel staff are quite helpful, room is clean and the furnishings are serviceable. Great for a budget hotel. Love the location though.
Shopping Tip : Nearby shopping places include platinum fashion mall, big c, central world and zen. A lot of street stalls with cheap deals nearby too.

Some facilities are not provided like hair dryers, toiletry. I used to stay in this hotel because it is easy access to all big shopping centers. The hotel rate is acceptable, food is good and overall it is said I am satisfied all time.

need more staff at front desk The hotel is conveniently which located the heart of shopping hotspot in Bangkok, near BTS station. The hotel is small but have the fundamental facilities. The guest room size is OK with very clean and tidy condition. The room rate is reasonable. A very good hotel for business trip and tour in Bangkok.

Great location with walking distance to major shopping malls. It's old hotel, suggesting for some upgrading. It's absolutely a great deal & selection with BKK City Inn. With the strategic location, we had earned $much$ then expected as we had saved our time ($$$) effectively. Hotel is always at our expectation (cleanliness/F&B), therefore, we will consider to repeat the visit as well as to recommend to others especially for those are not familiar with BKK. It's TIME = MONEY.

Room was good, Service was very good (roomservice) For the location and the price was my staying very good. Breakfast and Rooms are good. Very good roomservice. Friendly Manager and staff on the recieption. I was there 3 days and next time, I will come again.
Shopping Tip : Good location for shopping. Good location to skytrain.

Location is perfect.. tucked not too far in from the main road, we feel safe even when walking back from the alley at midnight..
The room fridge is so cold, drinks are freezing icy.. great for drinking in thailand's hot weather..
Breakfast was ample.. not fantastic nor for fussy easters but menu changes daily.. their thai dishes are good.. Cleaniness of room.. the air-con & carpet smells moudy.. burning some aromatherapy oils will help..
The shower head is fixed to the wall.. it will be better to change to shower head with flexible hose..
The shower water blows 'hot & cold'.. maybe there is something to do with the storage tanks for the water? If you are looking for a place to stay during your Bangkok shopping trips, this is the place.. taxis are aplenty once you walk 3mins out the road.. our room at the 8th storey faces two clocks, one at Big C, the other at Central World (World Trade Centre).. good to check out the time and traffic condition..

Walking distances to Platinum, BIG C, and about 20 mintutes walk to Siam Paragon, MBK. Friendly staff. Housekeeping should keep their room cleaner. I have stayed in this hotel 3 times when I was travelling in Bangkok. Its very affordable. The hotel staff are very friendly. Food nearby the hotel are cheap and good. The mango smoothie in BIG C (behind the hotel) is to die for!!! it costs about 60THB to go the Suan Lum Night Bazaar...you will go crazy there! Shopping is great!

Old and smelly rooms (but what can you expect for that price!) This hotel is a great place to tour Bangkok and around the city and crash after hours of walking around. If you expect to stay in your room most of the day to relax or watch TV, this will not fit you. If you plan to use your room just to have a good night sleep and expect a good breakfast to start your day, this will do it!

Good Location, Near to Shopping Area I use to stay here because of the hotel is located in the city centre and near to shopping area. Besides that, the price of the hotel is reasonable. Furthermore, breakfast is included compare to other hotel which is charge seperately. I suggest the hotel management to consider to provide free wi-fi service so that guest can online when it is necessary.
