The best location and value for money. Rooms are good.Food are good. The best money exchange is just beside. Very difficult to get rooms. I am very satisfied with all things. The hotel is good, location is the best.Whenever I have to come to BKK, I first book this hotel and only if rooms not available at this hotel I look for others.
Shopping Tip : I often come to BKK for business as well as shopping and bringing my kids to show around for leisure. There is nothing I feel inconvenient regarding staying in this hotel. Our family feel this hotel like our home.

1. Friendly front desk staff and bellboy.
2. Strategic location - nearby major shopping centre in the city and BTS train system.
3. Cheaper hotel rate. 1. Cleaniness of the room - strong smell and found ants in the room. Overall this hotel can be rated as 3.5 star, with it's strategic location which is in the city center, it's easily reach to most major shopping centre by walking distance or BTS.
Staff here are all friendly and able to help although they cannot really communicate in English.
Only one thing can be criticized, that's the cleaniness of the room. There's a strong smell like aerosol spray when u first step in to the room, even I can found ants in the room.
They deserve higher rate if the above can be improved. Will visit them again for my next round to Bangkok.

Trevlig personal, bra läge för shopping Äcklig doft i rummet ibland Det är ett bra budget hotell för några nätter. Läget var helt idealiskt för shopping, gångavstånd till många stora shoppingkomplex. Även nära till skytrain som är suverän att använda. Vi fick en favorit MBK ett sanslöst bra shopping center där finns allt och suveränt låga priser, man kan lätt tillbringa en hel dag där. Vi hade bokat de luxe och då ingick även middag.
Shopping Tip : Varuhuset Big C är ett stenkast från hotellet.

Excellent location close to World Trade Centre/central shopping, Hyatt Erawan and BTS, and UK Visa Application centre. About 10 mins in cab to Sukhumvit Soi 4 night spots. Good clean rooms and basic but edible breakfast - good value for the price. Rooms a bit small, pillows too hard, and no internet, but can not complain really for this kind of money. If you just need a bed for the night in a central location you should consider this hotel.

Right beside Big C for easy food and hypermart shopping Age of hotel, but nothing too serious and definitely not a showstopper I have been staying with Bangkok City Inn for more than 10 times, and still find it the best value hotel/inn in the vicinity.
Most of the other hotels/inns for the same budget have other more serious cons (such as presence of cockroaches/bugs, distance from conveniences etc).
Without being fearful of street hawker food, most of my meals are made up of stir-fried rice or noodles, accompanied by BBQed hotdogs/sausages/squid and deep-fried chicken. Satisfying and easy on the wallet! There's also the nearby Big C market area in which you can grab local fare for nearly street hawker prices - well worth it for the more hygienic outlook and packaging, and good variety as well!
Shopping Tip : Being a techie kind of guy, nothing beats spending 2 quality hours walking about in the budget corners of Pantip Plaza. Great bargains to be found every time I visit!

Good location for shopping and money change. Older and simple decor including room facilities. This is about my 5th visit to hotel. Unfortunately the hotel stills looks the same and feel the same. Even the staff are the same except there are some new additional staff. We chose it for the location as we do stay at the hotel much except for storage, bath and sleep. This time, the difference is the staff as on the last day, we wanted to extend the checkout to after 12pm as every other visit. The initial reply from the staff was extremely rude as he said "Do you want to pay?" This made my wife and me pretty angry. He allowed us to extend for 1/2 hour more without additional cost. We may not come back again as the staff do not seem to as caring as before. Perhaps, like they say is "The hotel is FULL."
Travel tip : Please do go to Money Rich nearby to change money. The rate is 100% better than at the bank branches.

The hotel is not very big, but located near the shopping center. It only took us 5 minutes to the CentralWorld Plaza and Big C. The breakfast is very good. The furniture in the hotel is not good, especially the refrigerator, every 30 minutes it will start to work, the starting noise will make you crazy. Shopping Tip : Shopping in Zen plaza, CentralWorld plaza is a wonderful experience.

Great Location with great budget The hotel is situated in the heart of Bangkok - Pratunam Area, the location of the hotel makes it easy for you to shop around the area. The nearest shopping is Central World, Big C, Platinum (wholesale). They are only 5 mins away from the hotel and further up you can also reach siam paragon within 10-15 mins walk. Beside Big C, there are a lot food stalls in the evening. So, there will not be any problem with food. I would recommend this hotel for budget travellers.

In the middle of Bankok and a few miles from Isetan and Bic C. Not many English TV channels. Good place for travelers who just need a place to stay. Although it is located in the center of Bangkok, the price is very reasonable. If you don't spend much time in a hotel to relax, this is it.

The hotel is located in the center of Bangkok city, easy for people who like shopping. Some of the hotel fees are not so high and good for the guest who is on a budget tour. The hotel also provides breakfast and the room also includes a TV and air-conditioner. I feel good staying at this hotel, this is the 2nd time I am in Bangkok with free and easy package and this time I also chose the Bangkok City Inn Hotel because it is near shopping centres like Central World Plaza, Pratunam center and also near a BTS station. So it is very easy and comfortable for me without a need to spend more money and still enjoying a good hotel.
Shopping Tip : The shopping centre will start operation at 10am and will close at 10pm. So after that it was quite quiet in the city.
