Was terrified to see the location of the hotel but later was very happy. U need not see the outside of the hotel, contemplate the inner part because the hotel is finally a good hotel.
The hotel in general was good, cannot complain.. The hotel is superbly located near shopping malls like Centre World and Pratunam Market. There we get wholesale goods and good price for shopping. Very good for shopping, don't miss Pratunam Market!!
Good to go for sightseeing at the main river by boat to see the small houses - very poor people living etc..
Also, very very important, don't miss the night life, including night markets here and there, the pubs (ping pong). Good to live the experience. After a good shopping, don't miss the Thai Massage , especially for the foot, there they are good!!! Very Gud!!!

the location of hotel is very convinience. Just a short walking distances for eating out and shopping. Heighbours are World Trade Centre, Platinum Wholesale Mall, Four Faces Buddha, Gaysorn Shopping mall, Chitlom station and so on... The weakness is the room's light is too dark.. some of the light are not working. out of this, the rest are fine.

Location, friendly staff, good room, clean. Breakfast very mediocre, awful coffee. The taxi had problem finding the place which is just off one of the busiest avenues in Bangkok. Good thing I spotted the huge sigm on top of the building, jumped out of taxi and walked the one-half block over. Friendly, efficient front desk had my room in a few minutes. Spacious and clean with all things working. Breakfast was the low point of the stay, with eggs fried in fish oil and undrinkable coffee. More efficiency at checkout and very helpful bellman with getting a taxi and managing my heavy bag. Excellent value, will return.
Shopping Tip : Short walk to Pantip Plaza (computers). In middle of the main clothing district with great bargains at small shops and at Platinum Mall.

Facility is not very sufficient It is to stay in BKK City Inn is always my first choice whenever I go to BKK. Location is the best and just 5 minutes walking distance to big shopping centrers. Hotel is a bit old but acceptable. I am satisfied almost in all of areas. I will be staying whenever if I get rooms in that hotel for my every trip to Bkk.
Shopping Tip : can reach to big shopping centers in 5 minutes by walking

Great location for everything I have stayed at the Bangkok City Inn many times over the last 3 years and I will continue to stay there when I am in Bangkok the food is great and breakfast is included in the price the staff are very friendly and the hotel is in a very good location for shopping and tourist attractions

Close to everything shop till you drop nothing really for the price OK I have stayed at the Bangkok City Inn many times over the last 3 years and will continue to stay there when I am in Bangkok as it is in a great location and the staff are very friendly the food is good and breakfast is included in the price which is a very good breakfast I am looking forward to staying there again

the price is very cheap and very near to shopping area, just a walking distance, abt 5 minutes can be reach centralworld, ehrawan shrine, pathuwan market.. strange smell in the room, but still fine for me... room is small and no remote control for tv... and the building is quite old.. basically, this hotel is really value for money... because its located in the central of bangkok, just a 5 minutes walking can be reach centralworld shopping central, bangkok attractions(ehrawan shrine), can't find other hotel that offering this price in the central of bangkok.. tuk-tuk and taxi is all around here, so you can get them easily, not bad for this hotel location.. think bangkok city inn hotel is suit for budget traveller, because it really value for money.. one more thing is, good service for the staff in the hotel...
Shopping Tip : within walking distance for most of the shopping centre, such as "ehrawan bangkok", "centralworld", "siam discovery", "siam paragon", "pathuwan market", and attraction of "ehrawan shrine"...

- friendly front office staff this is my 5th time stay in BCI. Overall, its a nice place to stay. very convenient, walking distant to Pratunam or MBK. Nice road side hawker food behind the hotel.
If you haven't stay before and looking for a budget hotel, you can give it a try.

easy access to many shopping spots. dark road to the hotel, afraid of robbery. Hotel staff is nice to help out guests. It offers 24/7 meal service. Do not expect rooms are so specious or nice. My room was one of the connecting room, which has a door to the next room where unknown guests stayed. The door has a lock, but sometimes someone tried to open it behind the door. It is so unconfortable to stay and sleep well. BTS stations are a little bit far to walk to and taxis are picky to all guests, so you may find it difficult to move around. Better ask the staff to arrange taxi.

The hotel is very strategically located in the center of the shopping paradise, just off the main road from Central World mall. It's also walking distance to Pratunam Center, Platinum Fashion Mall, Siam Center, Siam Paragon and MBK mall. It’s the perfect location for those that are here for the shopping. Hotel itself is pretty adequate - clean comfy beds, running hot water shower and nice cold air-conditioning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, willing to help you out in anything that you need. Breakfast is pretty standard, with a mix of Thai and Western dishes. Hotel is a bit on the old side, and it could do with a new coat of paint and a change of carpeting. Many taxi and tuk-tuk drivers did not know the hotel, and on more than one occasion we were taken to the Bangkok City Suite Hotel instead. Keep a map handy to avoid this mistake. There is a 7-Eleven right around the corner, very ideal for buying drinks and snacks and the like. Also, right across the street from the 7-Eleven (and next to the Central World mall) is a row of roadside food stalls that serve very tasty Thai food for dinner - well worth a try. On the whole, I would recommend this hotel as the perfect place for those looking for a comfortable budget hotel that is centrally located for shopping.

well located near the shopping malls (platinum fashion mall, central world, zen, Big C), cineplexes (central world, Big C), 10 min to BTS station, has a nice spa just opposite of the hotel could be newer, but then again, this is a budget hotel, the room is clean enough so no major complaints Hotel staff are quite helpful, room is clean and the furnishings are serviceable. Great for a budget hotel. Love the location though.
Shopping Tip : Nearby shopping places include platinum fashion mall, big c, central world and zen. A lot of street stalls with cheap deals nearby too.
