Fantastic rooms, bit out of town for us.
Great air conditioning, attentive service and the biggest bed ever seen!

our stay was fantastic! the location was a bit out of town for us as we were backpacking and ko san road was a hike! but only (barterable!) there. great access to the sky train though. the service was impeccable and so friendly! good advice on local amenities and also actvities/sights!

i had a wonderful stay in bangkok and this hotel provided everything that i needed for a respite after a hectic day of sightseeing and moving around bangkok. the staffs were pleasant and always there to serve you, the room was clean, the price was reasonable and the complimentary breakfast was fit for a king. i would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to bangkok.

Clean and comfortable large rooms

we had a really good experience staying here. after 24hours on the go, we were very pleased to get picked up at the airport and taken back to the hotel..especially as we found out later that taxi drivers have such an issue finding the place! it's located quite far from the sights but the sky train is a 5 min walk and then after two stops you can get off at teh river and take a long boat to the old city.
the staff were friendly, the breakfast was ok and our room was lovely and large (superior room) and clean. we got a good deal and i would stay again if going to bangkok.

I have stayed in Loft Inn for 4 nights during my trip to bangkok in early August 2011. I am very happy with the location, the room, breakfast and helpful staff.
My bank card is unable to withdraw cash in Thailand ATM machine due to recent rule change. The front desk has been extremely helpful to call overseas for me. Hotel provide us breakfast takeaway when we have to leave hotel early.
I had made a very expensive international phone call using hotel frontdesk landline without knowing it costs Baht per minute (1B per minute if you call through international sim card. After negotiation, hotel manager is nice enough to waiver the payment. Thank her again!
I definitly recommend Loft Inn through Agoda to my friends.

Top 10 hotel .. I disagree
Cheap and close to attractions

First impression was very poor after my wife and I called ahead to book transport from the airport to the hotel. Initially the woman who answered said it wasnt possible as we only had 1 evening booked. I then called again to clarify and the woman seemed surprised that after my wife just called, that I would be calling to ask the same question. I asked why it was not possible to pick us from the airport when we would happily pay for it. Previous comments about taxi drivers getting lost didnt fill me with confidence and I knew we would be tired from a long flight. The hotel woman got quite angry on the phone repeating 3 times I had to speak to the manager before hanging up on me. No cause for her rudeness as I was very polite. This was cleared up after I spoke to Bob, the manager. He apologised profusely and arranged transport which was very helpful. Perhaps we caught her on a bad day, but not a good start..
When we got to the hotel we immediately noticed the photos on their website gave a false sense of luxury. Yes its a nice, clean hotel but its located right next to a Bar in a very local area, right on the main road.
We asked for the best massage spa and Thai food restaurant in the area, but they ended up being a very cheap, dirty and uncomfortable massage house followed by a rather terrible restaurant. The food took forever to arrive and was not very edible. It took us at least 10 tuk-tuk / taxi flagdowns later to finally get back to the hotel. Previous comments about no one wanting to go or being able to find the hotel are quite correct.
All in all, perhaps we only saw the negative aspects of this little hotel. I guess we couldnt expect the quality. This hotel is absolutely fine if you want a cheap, clean, close to sightseeing option with free wifi. Dont stay here if you want any sort of luxury.

Great hotel, friendly service, convenient position

This is a newish hotel so still looks great. Small but has all facilities necessary for a great stay.
Staff are all friendly and super helpful.Breakfast fresh and a great variety. The cafe is only open for breakfast but there are local eateries within walking distance and a 7/11 a few metres away.
Only a 300m walk to the skytrain so super convenient to getting around Bangkok.
Around the corner from the Victory Monument and all the local shops nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
Just outside hotel, turn right and walk along pavement for about 200 metres. There is a local BBQ stall on sidewalk - purple table cloth - which is very popular with locals and does a super cheap and tasty BBQ. They don't speak much english but we all managed with smiling and pointing. they have a basic menu done in english.

Lovely Hotel, Lovely Staff

Had a wonderful stay at the Bangkok Loft Inn.
The room was immaculate and huge for the price we paid.
The staff could not have been more helpful and when we left every morning asked us where we where going, advised us how to get there or hailed us a cab if we needed one. The hotel is very close the the Skytrain which makes all the tourist sites in Bangkok very accessible.
We checked out very early on the day of our flight and where prepared to miss breakfast but to our suprise the hotel had make us a packed lunch for the airport.
Shopping Tip:
Empty your suitcase and go to the weekend market- the clothes are amazing and a fraction of what you would pay at home(uk). There is the usual tourist stuff but also many stalls selling clothes by made young thai designers. Be prepared to spend the day and all your money!

Nice Hotel with super early check-in!

We arrived in Bangkok at 7AM by train. We got a tuk-tuk to the hotel, and the hotel had a room available so the let us check-in super early for free! The receptionists spoke clear English and helped give us directions, call restaurants and spas to make reservations for us, and helped hailed cabs and told the driver where to take us.
The room was clean and didn't have any funny odor. The bed was soft and the room was nicely decorated. The breakfast that was included was nice with western and eastern options as well as fruit, pastries, and drinks from the buffet line. It was easy to get to the old city by lightrail and ferry, or by just hailing a cab or tuk-tuk. I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a nice, affordable hotel and who doesn't mind taking cabs or public transportation in foreign countries.
Nightlife Tip:
We got into a cab once (we took many tuk-tuks and cabs while there) and they took us to the wrong restaurant on purpose. Make sure you have the location and directions written down in Thai to give to driver so they won't "mistakenly" take to you the wrong place.

My wife and i travel alot to Thailand and have stayed in many many hotels and resorts, This was our first time booking with agoda and as there are so many locations to stay i booked this hotel on the reviews posted and the good comments made and we were'nt dissapointed simply brillant accomadation. and extreme good value. Only down side there is no real restraunts in walking distance however a cab ride to the major eaterys is only a couple dollars. they supply breakfast with the room rate and it is also first class. but i must say the staff here go out of there way to help with any requirements better than any other hotel i have ever stayed at.

Really nice place with friendly staff, thin walls.

Internet was included in the good-sized rooms. The beds were quite comfortable, but the bathrooms were small and basic. The walls were incredibly thin, meaning I could hear the TV in the room next to mine or the drunk people returning on weeknights. The breakfast was excellent, and the woman working at breakfast was kind and helpful. And to get from the hotel to anywhere you really want to be is a bit of a commute, 30 minutes at least. The airport pick-up was really a plus.
