The staff were always willing to help us with the plans for the days activities. They arranged taxis for us and good prices. The skytrain station only a few minutes walk from the door of the hotel was convenient.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was 10-15 minute walk to the BTS skytrain and if you'd like to see the temples, this hotel is quite close to that area. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. The moment you check in, they really know how to take good care of you and attend to all your needs. They will give you tips on where to go, directions on how to get there and try to make your stay really comfortable.

A bit off the beaten track. But what a great place

We enjoyed the stay at Bangkok Loft Inn. Very good value for your money.
It's situated a bit off from the normal tourist fleshpots of Bangkok. This is however not a disadvantage as it is only a few hundred meters from the Wongwian Yai Skytrain station. Getting in and out of City centre is a breeze. The sorrounding area is transformed to a local market and street restarants pop up everywhere in the evenings.
The staff of the hotel was very helpful and eager to make your visit a pleasant one.
If you stay at Bangkok Loft Inn, do ask for a room away from the street, even numbered rooms. The big road outside is pretty busy with sirens blaring on and off during the nights.

The room was clean and had a very good bathroom with an excellent hot shower. The staff were very helpful in getting taxis when we wanted and ensured we only paid a reasonable fare. They also made sure the jacket I ordered was delivered and they did the chasing on their own initiative.
The skytrain was just round the corner so it was easy to get round by public transport.
Shopping Tip:
Locally were markets where you could get very cheap and prepared food.

We will stay here again when in town; we can't say enough about the friendly staff. The rooms are a large size for the city, very modern and clean. Placed in a great part of the city - local food. Easy to get to the sky train to make your way around the city.
Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Bangkok!

The staff are really friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and ideas for your trip. they also remember your name and flight times and will offer transfers free if they have to do a pickup.
i loved staying there.
Restaurant Tip:
i liked the bedsupper club, a little more pricey than the average, but great food, entertainment and you can just cross over the hallway to their club for some dancing.

The reason I chose this hotel were great reviews here and on agoda.com, and I made right decision! The hotel offers you a service which you can receive from a five star hotel for much less money. The staff girls are great, the gave us all the information which we need (which places to visit, how to get there), they even call the taxis and tuk-tuks for us. One major thing I appreciate is free transfer from the airport to hotel. The location is decent. The district of the hotel is more local oriented (not so many tourists around), but the public transport (sky-train) is five minutes walk from here, which gets you to shopping and business area of BKK and if you want to go to old (historic) part of the city (which is near), you can take a taxi (don't forget to tell the taxi driver to turn the taximeter on!) and tuk-tuk for less than 80 Bahts (which is around 2 EUR). The rooms are very clean, with big bed, breakfast is delicious, I miss the evening bar, but you can buy your booze in 7-11 near or just take a taxi to khao san (if you want to party).
Tip: Between tuk-tuks and taxis I prefer the second one, cause the traffic pollution.
Shopping Tip:
When shopping, don't forget to bargain. Choose taxi rather than tuk-tuk

Backpackers feel....and its a good thing...

We were greeted by the free hotel pickup driver on time...
however this hotel is located outside of city center therefore no activity is going on around the hotel except quiet. If u like it then it's great. but then again the train station is located ard 10 min walk and make it not too far from all the actions in city center area.the hotel is small and the lobby is very simple. however the warmness of the staff made the difference! After all the paper was done, we were asked to order the bf for the next morning, odd and it's quite limited.
as for the room, it's not huge but really clean. the king size bed is HUGE...i think it can fit in 4 adults with no prob...toilet and bathroom were clean but there is no bath tub, which is fine cuz i never use them anyway...
as for the breakfast, it was served in a small restaurant, which i would call it a canteen but with no selling of other food, as far as i know. it can only accomodate for ard 30 pax, so get in early to avoid waiting in line just to get a table. bf selection is very limited and you can't change your main course selection as it was ordered the day before. the quality of the main course was ok.
at check out, we were surprised by a little gift from the management, which is a very nice touch.
Most of the customers are europeans and americans. so we were the odd ones as we are asians. but it's ok for us!
all and all, if you like a hotel which is not big, but you hate the chaos of a backpacker inn, this will be a great choice! it's really value for money and not too far from all the actions (if you take the sky train). the service was top notch, and the receptionist even went so far to go out of the hotel to stop a taxi for us! the only thing is that most of the staff can't speak english, so you have to be very patient with them while explaining things to them. However, for the price we paid, we felt that it's really worth it and will definitely consider this hotel again if we ever to return to bangkok!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the BTS Skytrain is conveniently located 10 min walk away and it's never a hassle going to city center or the central pier.
