川沿いのレストランが気持ちよかったが，5月ぐらいは雨季なので，夕立が多くその時期に旅行予定の人は要注意。 街の中心からかなり離れているので，サイアムスクウェアとかからだと遠すぎてタクシーに断られる。そのときは，電車か船で南まで行くとよい。電車の終点から，ホテルまでの送迎船があるのでこれを使うと，英語も何とか通じて，楽にホテルまでいくことができる。 バンコクの中で簡単にリゾート気分を味わうことができるので，プーケットとかまで行く勇気がない人とか，短い滞在でリゾート気分を味わいたい人にオススメ。
Restaurant Tip : シーフードを食べてあたったので，食べ物には気をつけてください。マクドナルドならたぶん安全です。

Good restaurants in hotel, but just walk through to the mall and get great food and services (like much cheaper internet service and cheaper food and cheaper massages). However, don't avoid the hotel services because they are superb.
Shopping Tip : Chatuchak Market; Riverside Shopping Area - just to see amazing antiques and art.

We return year after year, it is simply our favorite place, and everyone I have sent there loves it too. It is good for people of all ages. A mini-mall out front is handy, with a bank, Mcdonalds, ice-cream, drug store, shops, and my tailor.
Hotel Feature Tip : The staff is simply the best that we have found in Asia!!!

Try a late night swim at 23:00 its wonderful with the hot Jacuzzi.
Restaurant Tip : Try the £15 buffet by the river, its great fun when the band is playing.

The Japanese restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay. Extremely entertaining chefs and the food was tasty.
Shopping Tip : Buying an all day rider for the skytrain is the best option. Cost is 120BHT and can be used as often as you like from 6am till midnight.
Shopping at MBK is fantastic and bargaining with most of the store owners is expected.

We have been regulars at the Marriott Resort & Spa for the past five years. The staff, the service and the comforts have never failed to satisfy. However, fortunately for some, and unfortunately for others, the resort is now becoming more of a smoke-free environment, catering to families with small children. Therefore, it is becoming less of a quiet hideway for adults. We may have to find someplace else...

Even though the hotel is a bit far from the city activities, the city can be reached easily with the hotel boat. Be sure to have hotel's addres in Thai for the possible late return with taxi.
Restaurant Tip : Benihana Restaurant was a lot of fun with very good food.

Breakfast was fantastic. They cook crepe and pancakes, slices prosciutto in front of you. Swimming pool was relaxing.We were a bit concerned about location but the boat service was very pleasant and they come every 15mins to take us to sky train station.

The boat service to the skytrain station is excellent and quick access to the city.
Restaurant Tip : The Vertigo Restaurant at Banyan Tree was just great, very good food, though a little bit pricey but worth the experience eating outside on the 61st floor.

Usual Marriot standards were excellent.The room and view were great and the staff as always first class.Despite the business of Bangkok, the Marriot has a very relaxed feeling.
Restaurant Tip : Some excellent food shops just out of the hotel on the main street.

Hotel is perfect for relaxing but is a fair way out. Worth staying at if you are happy making the 40 minute cab ride into the city.
Shopping Tip : Tailor opposite the hotel makes amazing suits and shirts and is worth a visit.

Would stay here again maybe when my partner and I are a little older. It was very nice and because the shuttle boat runs every 15 minutes. It's very handy and so close to the skytain (which you can go just about anywhere on).
Shopping Tip : Catch the shuttle bus to the skytrain and the get on the skytain and get off at National Stadium (Right at MBK shopping centre). Very handy.
