Great hotel, great service.
The room is large and is beautifully furnished

a wonderful hotel worthy of its banyan tree brand. the hotel is centrally located convenient to shopping and business. the hotel has excellent food outlet, we particularly enjoyed our daily breakfast at the basement coffee shop. the staff was very pleasant and helpful, they are always there ready to help with a smile.

Five star with great staff

The sauna floor was very dirty and had a nail sticking up though not sharp .Everything else was certainly first class .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must see view of Bangkok from roof top .

Lovely hotel with brilliant service

We stayed for just one night but had a lovely time. The roof top bar - Vertigo - is the best feature of the hotel. Great views over Bangkok and good food and drink. Service was also very good.

I can't find any way to fault this hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. And make sure you make it up to the top floor open air bar and restaurant.

Lovely hotel, great service, fantastic views

We stayed at The Banyan Tree for several nights at the end of a two week break. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is smart and clean and the room was fantastic. The Vertigo Bar (on the roof) is a must too - fantastic views of the city. Overall, a lovely stay and very much recommended.

Excellent club lounge check-in for those in suites or in a club room. Met at main desk and escorted to a dedicated desk in the club lounge with a complimentary drink.
Hotel is spotless, room was nice and large with the bathroom suite half the size again of the main room!
Very comfortable bed and a nice selection of TV channels also

Excellent Service, Great Rooms
Dining Experience at Japanese Restaurant, Excellent Customer Service

On the night of 15 Oct, went to Japanese Restaurant at 53rd floor to have dinner. Great view.
My friend and I ordered 1 x Beef set and 1 x seafood set. As the chef was cooking the teppanyaki meal in front of us, i realized he was cooking prawns. We highlighted to the chef that both of us were allergic to the prawns. Even though the prawn was cooked halfway, he offered to exchange the prawn for other dishes. We choose chicken. This gesture of goodwill really impressed me.
Another commendable observation about the hotel was how the concierge staff conducted the initial room orientation. It was done in a warm and professional manner.
I would definitely return to stay at this hotel.

Nice room, not so convenience location.

Overall is OK. But I think it is not the same standard as other Banyan Tree hotels. The location is not very convenience.Nothing in the walking distance. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to many spots but it rans only a few times a day. It's quite far from sky train. It will take a while to walk. But if it rains we have to take taxi then stuck in the traffic jam. The room is OK, we got a suite. The TV is still the old thick one which is a surpise. We stayed there because we want to to the Vertigo bar at the roof top. Unfortunately, it rained every day during our stay. So the bar was closed.

The Banyan Tree Bangkok offers a very high standard for your money. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The spa on the 21st floor is at a very high standard. The laundry service leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are nice - you have office, bedroom, shower AND bath. Ask for e room on the 50th floor or higher and enjoy the view. It's fantastic!
Hotel Feature Tip:
You will reach Silom-Road (Skytrain-Station "Sala Daeng") with its markets and nightlife-clubs in 10 Minutes by foot. A Taxi drive isn't faster, due to the traffic.
