The food was great; Desk clerks and maids were very friendly; rooms were clean and comfortable.

There were some mosquitoes in the room.

The best sentence that defines this hotel is "everything was in its place." The "order" is a high priority for me and fortunately I could find it in the hotel. Next point is the great view which we enjoyed during our stay. The food was great; people were so nice there; and all the services were good. Just one negative point was that there were some mosquitoes that did not let us to have rest sometimes. But generally, I would recommend Agoda hotels to anyone who is looking for a reliable place for staying.

Staff, design, roof top restaurant (Vertigo)

Restaurant was quite expensive but worth it

My partner and I stayed in the Banyan Tree for one night in March before a flight home. The hotel is beautifully presented with generous sized rooms with all the mod cons expected from a top class hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, again as you would expect from those working at a hotel of this standard. We ate at the roof top restaurant 'Vertigo', it is a little pricey but what you get is was worth every penny. The staff took a photo of us with the hotels camera and presented it to us at the end of the meal, it was a really lovely touch as our cameras just weren't able to really capture the true extent of the amazing view. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Bangkok.

Excellent service, amazing spa, comfortable beds.

Food over priced.

I stayed at the Banyan Tree Bangkok for two nights and enjoyed every minute of my time there. I honestly felt like a princess. The service was outstanding. The room might not have been the largest but it made up for size in comfort. I will be back in the near future. The spa is not to be missed as the massage therapists are skilled and the rooms are beyond relaxing. The views from Vertigo bar and restaurant are spectacular.

stayed in the banyan tree for one night on the way to phuket and i have to say what a way to start a holiday. upon check in we received a free drink and then shown to our suite, the room was more than adequate consisting of an office area sitting area bedroom and huge bathroom with a great shower. everything was supplied in the room . we ordered room service which was fantastic and reasonable enough given the status of the hotel. id really recommend this hotel a great place to relax after a long flight well worth treating yourself

Nightlife Tip : check out the vertigo bar upstairs a must seen for excellent views of bangkok

Perfect Room service, in terms of speed and kindness. Lots of care in housekeeping.

Just the foodservice at the pool could be quicker, but not a big thing to be underlined.

A very elegant place with a great service standards. Great room service. I simply love it. A lttle note for the Vertigo Sky bar, well if you decide to do international drinks or cocktails, just make sure that the barmen can make the proportinions if the drinks. A very high standard by the way. I was impressed by the peculiar way of setting the room, the culture of putting flowers everywhere. We had a dinner in the room at the middle of the night, and the quality/speedness/service was simply amazing also at 4am!

We visited the Banyan Tree for two nights upon arriving in Bangkok from London before travelling to the islands in the south. As it was a bank holiday weekend we were offered a free upgrade to a business room on the 56th floor. We enjoyed a wonderful meal on the rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the city. Staff were friendly and helped us with any queries, the room was well maintained and cleaned regularly. In short - a very pleasurable visit!

The staff, they are so nice, nothing is a problem. The rooms are very well appointed and most comfortable. The ammenities provided are first class. It is a little bit of Heaven in a city that never stops, you can escape!!!

A little out of the way for some things, but a cab ride away from fun for very little.

This is a great escape, you can hide away in bliss just a few steps from the bedlam that is Bangkok. The staff are sensational, there seems to be a real commitment to making sure you have the very best experience of the Banyan tree. I had an allergy attack and needed some medication, one call to reception and a taxi was waiting to take me to see a medico with whom an appointment had been made, a bunch of flowers the next day as well as a follow up call that evening, and all this for an itch. That is guest service. So I feel sure that you will feel like a king and know that you are in residence! Vertigo, what a great way to see the city, well worth a visit, even if only to have a drink at the bar. There are night markets a relaxed stroll away that are lots of fun and a shuttle to the weekend market that will do your head in, I recommend you try Chattachuck weekend market for a life experience I doubt you will forget, take plenty of Bhart

SPA and Vertigo sky bar and dining is something you never will forget and want again once experienced!!!

Expensive, but worth it and do not eat at Thai restaurant in hotel that is made for "farangs" (non Thais) if you like the real spicy Thai cuisine... Please go to places like Silom Village that also is tourist adapted, but with much more value for money if you want that!!!

One of my favourite hotels in this world... If you like Thai SPAs and sky roof dining this hotel is a must. Staff is normally extremely service minded and delivers what you expect from a 5-star hotel. Hotel is in Bank district and a little out of the way, but at night no problem as traffic is not that hectic then...

Restaurant Tip : Book Vertigo for evening dining! Very often fully booked!!! You wont regret it even if it is pricey...

Great suites, we stayed in a Premier Suite and the Vertigo Bar is a must. Good location and all the taxi drivers knew it, which helped. Service, especially the Concierge, was excellent on all occasions.

The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. I assume it was because of low guest numbers, but we expected something of a very high quality.

Good spa, and great hospitality.

Furniture should be more well chosen.

I truly enjoyed the spa. There are many many courses, and I had hard time deciding which to do, but the assistant was very kind and explained each of them in details. I took the facial massage and body wrapping, and it was very soothing, and moisturizing, which lasted for days. All the staff were very friendly, and the building was exotic. One thing I regret is the food. We went to Vertigo, the restaurant on the top of the roof and the view was awesome, but the food was not too good. Meat was hard, and it took some time for us to even cut the meat. It would have been better, if they served the Thai food. Also, the Moonbar was very noisy with fans. But overall, I truly enjoyed the stay, and would like to stay there again.
