Service is ok but not the best service in the world. The good thing is they upgrade us to better room on 58th floor(deluxe view suite). Spa is fantastic.
All the prices are very expensive, VERTIGO roof top restaurant is crazy expensive too, you need to go 2 floors down to find a toilet, with my high heels its so inconvenient. Our room is kind of small
In General, Staying in Banyan Tree Hotel is not bad. I would go back there maybe next year. Spa is just fantastic and relaxing experience we had. They have all gym equipment which i never use due to not enough time. Swimming pool is ok but not enough benches. Our room is on the 58th floor with a very nice view.
Nightlife Tip : Not too far from night life by taxi

Retaurants are great
Moon Bar on the 67 floor has the most amazing view and well worth a visit
Room was spacious and extremely clean
Lots of little extras thrown in when booking the business club room
We had a lovely stay here, staff were excellent and service was above expectations, we stayed in the club room and received complimentary spa treatment, the use of club lounge and unlimited drinks, delicious complimentary canapes were served from 5 -7.30pm every day, the club lounge conceirge was very efficient and catered to all our needs. 4 pieces of dry cleaning or use of laundry service every day, really nice time, location really good close to excellent night market.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close Spa nearby called Healthlands very professional and efficient, very reasonable and always busy. Price was very reasonable and would definitely recommend it to anyone

Good environment, good hospitality and the room is well designed & decorated. Spacious and full of privacy
It could be perfect if the hotel could provide more room rate promotion
The guest are well treated with great hospitality from the moment we check in the hotel. The room is well decorated and full of privacy. The hotel location is convenient to move around and within vicinity of shopping complexs. The hotel surrounding is clean and cosy that worth to come back again.

Hotel's great, from the entrance to the reception to staff attitude. Had booked a suite, so had access to the business lounge - while we were waiting for our room and check in, they sent a girl from the Spa to give us a shoulder and neck rub!! Staff, Spa, Moonlight Bar at 62nd floor...Fantastic!!! Will definitely love to come back.
Suite size could have been bigger. Expect a flat screen TV and DVD player in the suite. Also, had to pay for internet in the suite, free internet only in the business lounge.
Booked the Banyan Club Suite through Agoda, very prompt, my query handled by an online chat agent, instant confirmation - very convenient as it was a late planning event, and had to confirm hotel and flights 48 hours before the trip. Arrived at hotel at noon, reception staff very friendly and helpful, lobby design very nice.
The suite was given to us in an hour, as the normal check in time is 1pm. Initially slightly miffed about it, but when they gave us a mini-massage in the lounge while waiting for the room I was won over.
The suite on 55th floor, but 5 or 6 very fast, smooth and readily available elevators. City view from the suite is out of this world, could spend hours just sitting there and watching the city below you.
Roaming the town all day, so didn't get to sample the restaurants in the hotel, apart from breakfast. Once again, when went down to the restaurant for breakfast found it very busy and two families before us waiting in line for a table. Yet, the day being a weekend, they served breakfast for suite-dwellers in the business lounge, so went there and partook, was great! The breakfast itself is good and solid, but no "wow" effect...
Had a three hour treatment in the spa, very nice setup and equipment, but I think the masseuse was tired and did not deliver the deep massage that I opted for, more of a rub down. Equipment, set up and attitude outstanding!!
Location is very nice, 7 min walk to the BTS, but can flag taxis in a minute right outside the hotel, and a being in the town center it's a short drive to anywhere. The hotel runs daily shuttles to various city points (e.g weekend market) but we never used it.
Will go back, definitely!
Shopping Tip : 3 minutes walk from the night market, which is a nice place to head to if you want to be out and not clubbing or eating after 9pm. Also one of the best spots for real Muay Thai is next to the night market (Lumpini Stadium)

Good services, clean & nice rooms
Rooms are a bit dark and also the pictures on the website dont really depict the rooms correctly.

Ejoyable and sophisticated contemporary interiors and architecture, friendly staff, good location. Peaceful oasis in the busy metropolis.
Pool area was very nice allthough a bit small - but even here the views from the 21st floor were enjoyable.
Enjoyed the contemporary architecture and interiors - no Lois XIV furniture, if you know what I mean. Fresh freeling everywhere the colous scheme a bit on the dark side, though. Various restaurants, all nice but the coolest was the Vertigo and Moon bar at the 61st floor - open to the Bangkok sky-definitely a must just to have a drink if not a full dinner under the stars. Ok gym and pool area- with a small bar to have a nice snack or a glass of refreshing wine.
Restaurant Tip : Wondefull rooftop bar and restaurant at the 61st floor open to the sky!

Stayed again at the Banyan Tree after a long flight from the United Kingdom. It really has a wonderful feel to the place and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are cool and all have beautiful views. The pool area is a little small but the staff there in the Spa are very helpful and notified us immeadiately when a sunbed became available.
Drinks at Vertigo have varied over the years, it was once a really special place and a bit of secret, now the staff are unfriendly, the dress code it really strict- no flip flops no matter how sparkly they are!!! Beware- you get turned away....
Hotel Feature Tip : pool and gym

Banyan Tree Bangkok is a truely wonderful experience after a long flight there. The rooms are very well furnished with good taste and quality furniture. The air con is a little noisey!!! The view is amazing.
Breakfast was chaos- there was a large party/tour who dominated the dining area and were extremely greedy when taking from the buffet.
The staff at Vertigo were not like the other staff but very unfriendly and appeared to be doing you a favour by allowing you to drink from their expensive and warm drinks collection.
In summary, stay there when it's quiet and don't bother with Vertigo
Hotel Feature Tip : Go to Vertigo in shorts and flip flops at your risk!!!!! No matter how smart

Perfect hotel in Bangkok with girlfriend or wife as SPA is one of the worlds best and it has great view if you obtain a high floor room. Do not forget to book Vertigo restaurant for evening in advance that has a remarkable view and menu... Staff improves everytime I come so I haigly recommend if one not is afraid of spending money for quality!!!

The food was great; Desk clerks and maids were very friendly; rooms were clean and comfortable.
There were some mosquitoes in the room.
The best sentence that defines this hotel is "everything was in its place." The "order" is a high priority for me and fortunately I could find it in the hotel. Next point is the great view which we enjoyed during our stay.
The food was great; people were so nice there; and all the services were good. Just one negative point was that there were some mosquitoes that did not let us to have rest sometimes. But generally, I would recommend Agoda hotels to anyone who is looking for a reliable place for staying.

Staff, design, roof top restaurant (Vertigo)
Restaurant was quite expensive but worth it
My partner and I stayed in the Banyan Tree for one night in March before a flight home. The hotel is beautifully presented with generous sized rooms with all the mod cons expected from a top class hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, again as you would expect from those working at a hotel of this standard. We ate at the roof top restaurant 'Vertigo', it is a little pricey but what you get is was worth every penny. The staff took a photo of us with the hotels camera and presented it to us at the end of the meal, it was a really lovely touch as our cameras just weren't able to really capture the true extent of the amazing view. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Bangkok.

Excellent service, amazing spa, comfortable beds.
I stayed at the Banyan Tree Bangkok for two nights and enjoyed every minute of my time there. I honestly felt like a princess. The service was outstanding. The room might not have been the largest but it made up for size in comfort. I will be back in the near future. The spa is not to be missed as the massage therapists are skilled and the rooms are beyond relaxing. The views from Vertigo bar and restaurant are spectacular.
