Very Clean, High Class, Resteraunt and Bar on top of Bdg., Really Nice rooms

Pricey, Pricey, Pricey, Not Shorts or T-shirts allowed, Real dressy hotel, swimming pool is very small, gym is very small

This Hotel is one of the finest hotels around town but it's real pricey and dressy for those who just like to enjoy a leasure day without the wear of suits. The hotel is by far the nicest I've seen but pricey, pricey. The rooms are great and the customer service is as well, but the food cost big time and the swimming pool is small as well as the gym. However, it's the only hotel with a bar and a restaraunt on top of the bdg with 360 degree view.

Restaurant Tip : This is a gorgous restaurant that sits on top of the hotel with a 360 degree view of the entire city. Sunset is the time to be there for great photo opportunities. However, the restaurant opens at 5pm and is located on the 59th floor up to 61 when you climb the outside steps. Great place though.

Bedrooms were well decorated and had plenty of space

Staff were a bit hit and miss some were very pleasant buy some were not particularly at reception

It is a beautiful hotel, however they have some strange ideas, If you book a room and breakfast package, you can only have your breakfast in your room if you have it delivered before 6am if you want it later you have to pay the full cost of the breakfast on the hotel tarif with no allowance for the package you have already paid for. Prices in the bars and restaurants in the hotel are EXTREEMLY high by any measure so eat out unless you are on company expenses. ce

Shopping Tip : Take taxi to trainline save time sitting in trafic to get to main shopping centers

The front desk staff were not friendly and helpful at all. The fruits were not washed properly but served to us in the guest room as a welcome gift. Lack of concierge staff. Long waiting time for taxi at the hotel entrance. Most of guest rooms have connecting doors, hence no privacy. Signages and directions are not clear in the hotel such as elevators to guest room floors. Restaurants and Bars located above guest room floors and share the same elevators, so outside guests can get full access to guest room floors.

Vertigo Restaurant on the roof top is just breathtaking. Hotel is perfectly tucked in a quiet corner in the hustle and bustle of the banking district. Very generous with bathroom amenities, no question asked when you needed more.

None.

Hotel staff are well-equipped with knowledge to assist and help hotel guest. The warmth extended by their staff is unsurpassed. They go out of the way and extra length to help you when you needed them. Its the ideal Home away from home. They never give you the impression that they expect any tips from you after extending their services. And most of them remembers your name day in day out.

Hotel Feature Tip : You've got to try Banyan's massage. Its way way beyond relaxing and vitalising...

This must be one of the best hotels in Bangkok. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, good pool, 5 very good restaurants and 2 outside bars. Don't miss the "Moon Bar" on the 61th floor!!!

Nightlife Tip : Don't miss the "Moon Bar" on the roof of the hotel! Amazing views. Restaurants in this hotel are also very good.

outside look, look of breakfast buffet

poor service when I couldnt get on internet and was inconvenienced since i couldnt connect. Surprise how staff took the issue not very seriously when yuior hotel charges top price and business people come. I will never come again on business.

Nice room look but very small indeed definately didnt feel anything like advertised 40 sqm meter room. Worst part was service to assist internet connection which is important to business travellors was substandard and inconvenienced me greatly on top of this I didnt feel real attention was being given to my problem. Always wansted to stay at Banyan tree because of the lovely rooftop restaurant and now that I have I wont be coming back I do not believe. Breakfast looked great but rtasted very average. On top of that that my wife got food poisening at the hotel. In all fairness the assistant manager was quite nice but really offered no strong suggestions of what to do other than offering to get a car of which I already had one

Restaurant Tip : Near Bhan Khanita restaurant and Sukhotai hotel having some of the nicest restaurants in the city

Clean ann not worn out hotel. Friendly and professional athmosphere.

The rooms are maybe a bit dark.

The Vertigo restaurant is a must at least one time when visiting Bangkok. Remember to make a reservation before, it is popular place known also by others too. Was having breakfast half an hour before the closing time, orange juice and some other stuff did not exist anymore.

Travel tip : Remember that the Bangkok traffic may get jammed very quickly. Use the airtrain allways when possible.

Good facilities and restaurant.

location is common

overall, the hotel is quite good in terms of its facilities, such as restaurants, bar and spa center! regarding the breakfast, which is my favorite in this hotel. unfortunately, i didn't have dinner in the sky restaurant which is the best place to have dinner with your lover, there is no doubt that you can give the surprise to your lover!

good services, reasonable price, spacious room

no wi fi and the swimming pool is too small

The surrounding environment is very peaceful and comfortable. Location is nearby some of the very good restaurants in Bangkok. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent services and spacious room. It's a pity that the swimming pool is too small and no wi-fi service. Will stay again definitely if the price is still reasonable in the future.

The view towards the city from our room was fantatsic! The Moon Bar was a great place to have a cocktail if the weather permits. Great location within Bangkok. Great breakfast!

The rooms were a little tired in places.

We had a fantastic stay in the Banyan Tree Bangkok on our return from Koh Samui. The hotel is in a perfect location in the city. Near to all the sites, close to shopping streets and the metro. Our room on the 56th floor was great, although it was a little tired from 4 years ago when i visited. The views of the city from our room were stunning. Lie in bed and look out to a bustling city full of life. The views came to life at night with all the lights! The staff were helpful and friendly at reception and the breakfast was great with lots of choice. Although we didn't use the gym it had everything you needed from cardio equipment to free weights. On our last night we headed up to the Moon Bar for a couple of cocktails... not to be missed! A perfect ending to a perfect Honeymoon!

Shopping Tip : Get the metro up to Chatachak market... Not to missed!

Luxury hotel with fantastic service and toiletries! Superb choice at breakfast and amazing views from Vertigo bar.

Rooms are good but not outstanding as this is more of a business hotel.

We spent our last night in Thailand at the Banyan Tree and it was an excellent choice. From the location you can easily get the Hotel shuttle to the Sky train or pay about 30BHT in a taxi. There is not much around the hotel within walking distance apart from Lumphini Park. We had booked a Premier suite but on arrival it was suggested we pay 2,100 BHT to get upgraded to a room on the Club floor to take advantage of the late checkout that we needed for our flight. This was a really good deal as on both evenings we used the Club floor for drinks and canapes which are complimentry as is the internet. The staff on the Club floor were brilliant they couldn't do enough for us. We also went to the Vertigo bar which was amazing and very popular but we decided to eat at the Thai restaurant, the food was fantastic and we can definitely recommend it. The pool is tiny so don't book this hotel if you want a really good pool. I would say this is more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel but the service is brilliant and the rooms are comfortable.

Hotel Feature Tip : Must try the Vertigo bar, Wow !!

-View from the window(Floor to ceiling, excellent. -Very friendly & helpful staff -convenient location -comfortable bed and pillow(not easy to come by in other hotels)

-a little expensive compared to other Banyan Tree(facility and accommodation size) -One day where cleaner didn't clean the tub properly, maybe their quality control has dropped -breakfast was ok only, not fantastic, but I was expecting more for the price I am paying

Was my second time staying at a Banyan Tree resort, but 1st time in Bangkok's branch. Overall i would say the experience to be satisfied, but not thrilled. Facilities in the hotel was decent, gym is a little small for my liking, but I guess most people will be ok with that. Swimming pool is pretty small(or should I say narrow). Nothing much else of amenities I tried since I am not using their business facilities. Staffs are courteous and friendly, kinda expected in Thailand I think. Breakfast is ok, not fantastic. TV is still the small CRT kind, feels backwards if u ask me. The rest I think is satisfactory.
