Great location
The location was really good. The room size was goood and it was very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet was above average and the staff in the restaurant is awesome.

we arrived and found a taxi to get us to the hotel, but it would have been really nice to have had hotel transportation, especially for as nice as the hotel was. we had a room with 2 king size beds and one of them was a little softer than the other and we loved it. for as nice as the hotel was we would love to have seen a little bigger t.v. and may even a flat screen. we loved that it was so close to restaurants and the sky train was only about a 4 minute walk, if that.

the taxi from the airport dropped me off at the corner of soi 5 & sukumvit and i walked to the hotel which is at the end of the st. when i got to the hotel, i was pleasantly surprised. the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. all the staff in the hotel were great and always helpful. the happy hour is a true happy hour, 2 hours of free beer or wine.
the american type buffet breakfast was excellent. the bts is right at the end of the street, very convenient. will definitely stay at this hotel on all future trips to bangkok.

Nana Plaza just around the corner.

We had a good stay. The hotel personnel are quite strict with guests of guests going inside the rooms. This is good for security reasons.
Shopping Tip:
Quite near a lot of shopping areas. Am not very familiar with locations but where we shopped was just a short distance away by taxi.

have stayed at this hotel many times. when you booked a club trebecca room it used to give you access to the trebbeca lounge. this however is now closed and seems to have been for some time.
they could print documents for you and give you a pleasant environment in which to work with free tea and coffee all day.free drinks during happy 2 hours and snacks.
the free drinks exist but are taken in the downstairs bar, tea and coffee you have to pay for. it is not worth the added expense.
all rooms in the hotel are of a good size and some bookings carry the free drink during happy 2 hrs promotion so check it out on booking.
overall a good place to stay if you get the right booking rate.
Restaurant Tip:
heading toward sukhumvit road past the amari hotel there is an alleyway running betweensoi 5 and 7. down the soi 7 end on the right is a local thai restaurant. once you get over its location the food is great and value for money. good tom yum soup.
