Nice apartment but smelly

Although it wasn't visible when we booked, the room was actually a whole apartment, complete with kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom. It was quite worn, which we wouldn't have minded so much, but what we disliked very much was the stale smell in the room. Obviously, people had been smoking in it and when we asked to change, we were told there were no other rooms left.
The breakfast was unexciting, but the pool was okay, although quite small. We liked the location as it is quite close to the Skytrain.

Everything was as I expected for the price. Room was clean, decent size, good size bathroom for one person, and the location was also convenient for me. No problems with check in or check out. Very friendly staff. Would stay again at the same price.

Great location but rooms are not clean

Just the location is great. Old fashion facility which needs a lift up. Stuff not very friendly. Even after asking for cleaning it was not better. The first room which was shown to us was so dirty that we refused to go in. The second one was a bit better but not very clean.

Staff could smile more ( with the exception of the security guy) but still met all our needs. Rooms a bit jaded but quite spacious and quiet as they are off the Soi. They could do a one hour makeover - get rid of the plastic flowers, change the artwork and change the curtains and the place would be much less tacky. Breakfast a bit limited (e.g. no cereal) but the staff will cook more eggs etc. as required. I would consider staying here again.
Nightlife Tip:
Try Checkin 99 on Sukhumwit Rd between Soi 5 & 7 for a great cabaret style experience. The Phillipino Singers are amazing.

Last time had issues with late check out & some cranky staff. This time only 1 cranky staff but everyone else were great.
Had another issue with late check out but we worked it out in the end.
Thanks for another great stay.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 is just down the road.

This place is good all round for the price, although there is no free WiFi and the breakfast is horrible (but free, at least). The rooms are a little old, but practical and comfortable. Good value for the area. Excellent location and there is plenty of car parking.
