The hotel is clean. It is somehow hard to find cause of its location and being relatively new. The staffs are warm and friendly. They have a complimentary free massage. They have free tuktuk rides (to Pratuman market & to the main roads). I will definitely return to the hotel on my next trip to Bangkok.

Clean, warm staff, complimentary massage, free tuk tuk

Location but they have free tuktuk rides so this is not a big concern.

first time there, we were in a large room on the 7th floor and liked it so ich, that we decided to stay there when we returned to BKK in 2 weeks. For the 2nd stay, they put us on the 2nd floor. the 3rd floor is a smoking floor and the smoke came down the stairs and our room smelled and the hall REALLY smelled. Ask for a room far from the 3rd floor.

clean

smoking floor

  • Hotel Feature Tip : One of the bellboys is shady. He called us a cab and told the cab driver we would pay 400B to the airport. The cabbie (smelled of alcohol) refused to turn on the meter and made sure to return us to the hotel so the bellboy could see we were not using the cab. I think the bellboy was cutting a deal to get a cut of the fare. Avoid the young, tall bellboy.

A new hotel with clean rooms. 15 minutes walk to BTS. Good value for money. Hotel is difficult to locate if you have never stayed there before and is not well known to taxi drivers. Left luggage area available without charge. Would stay again.

Free 1 hour massage at hotel spa. Good breakfast.

Area does not always feel safe and is hard to locate by taxi down a small alley way.

This is by far the best of the Best Western Hotels that I have stayed so far. Its very clean and nice, and most importantly quiet. The staffs are all well trained and can communicated well in English. They are always ever eager to lend a helping had. The only draw back is that the hotel is located quite a distance from the main roads, which makes traveling a bit inconvenient. Most taxis and tuk tuks dont know this place. The free tuk-tuk shuttle is a great help when going out, but coming back will still be a problem. The free 24 hours internet facility is another major feature. Overall I truly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Mayfair and will certainly be back again here when I returned to Bangkok

Very new and clean, and quiet.

Its located quite a distance of the main roads.

  • Nightlife Tip : Make sure you bring along the hotel location map as most taxi drivers don't know this hotel.

Nice, but in a far end of a narrow street in Bangk Guest Rating: 3.5

Best Western hotel was a nice hotel to stay in, at a reasonable price as well including breakfast. The ambiance of the hotel is bright and clean. The staff / frontdesk was courteous and friendly. At one time, i need to make a local call, (strangely) they let me use their cellphones. I couldn't make any outside local calls from the room, so probably the tele-system wasn't workin perhaps. Though breakfast was provided, the seating was very limited like about 10 tables only. Since we were in at a low-peak season, it wasn't a problem getting seats in the morning. The only "inconvenience" of the hotel is it's location. The roads to it are either jammed w/ cars parked alng one sided, making it a one-way street; or taxi drivers couldn't figure / didn't know how to get there. It's good to bring the hotel's card showing the map to help the drivers find it. As for the rooms, they were just fine. But the heater was the electric type installed per room. So adjusting it via shower tap was very difficult. Anyway, it was still a nice experience for 2 nites in Bangkok.

-rather new / modern -free tuk-tuk service to main road. -near Bayoke Sky / market area(5-10 min walk) -complimetary bottled water, replished everyday. -bright and adequately spaced room -staff is friendly and hospitable / can converse in English very well.

-difficult to find for taxi driver -tuk-tuk not working then -water heater, cant work properly to adjust temp. -shower is mounted -oddly shaped toilet (but still useable to a minimum comfort / shower cubicle was big), no tub.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is located near the Pratunam / IT mall area/ Bayoke Sky. Just walk and you'll find lotsa stuff / shops and places to eat around. Don't forget to get a hotel card/map to show to the taxi drivers in case you need one getting back.

The hotel was nice the rooms were a bit small but clean. The lobby was nice and new and the staff were helpful. They supplies a tuk tuk service free of charge from the hotel although I'm not sure how far they would actually drive you. The location was great for shopping, really close to the Platinum Mall and only 5 min. to BMK mall. (depending on traffic of course) The only negative was getting there, its not very well known and you have to go down dark alley/roads to get there. Nice little street market located a few blocks away with loads of Indian restaurant, great food even better shopping (cheap!) for things like shirts and t-shirts. I would stay again, the price was right.

Nice hotel, clean, small rooms but cheap.

Hard to find, hotel is located in what seems to me like a dark alley.

It was a 15-20 min walk to MBK. They had a tuk-tuk to the main street, but less than 10 min walk to Skytrain station. Clean. We had a Superior Room and it was a good size. We're staying there again when we return to BKK in the next 3 weeks.

Clean, central location

Loud hallways (echoe from other guests)

  • Restaurant Tip : The 6th floor of the MBK Center has many Thai food vendors. It is really affordable and quite good--mainly Thai people eat there!

Very nice and trendy hotel and especially clean. Very modern and the staffs are very friendly. They spoke fluent English. But if you don't mind a 8 minutes walk along Petchaburi 13, then you won't find anything wrong with this hotel at all. Love the free internet access at the lobby. They even had the courtesy to loan us a weighing machine to weigh our bags if it was overweight. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The ambiance is refreshing, a totally clean hotel for once. They upgraded us to a Deluxe room as there were not so many guests at the time and allowed us an early check-in at 11am and a late checkout at 4pm. Good to have a Tuk Tuk to ferry us to the main street. Had a weighing machine to help us weigh our bags.

Tuk Tuk was down on two occasions and it was a long and exhausting walk in. Breakfast should have more choice but given the space, they did quite a great job.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : If the Tuk Tuk is down, you may get a Tuk Tuk for the price of 80 baht at Pratunam street, all you have to tell them is the road after the first hotel and they will know.

Overall a very nice hotel for the money..I would gladly stay there again...There is a shopping mall just next door...The room was clean..The bedding very clean and comfortable...Wifi worked very well...As for food, not many veggie options though I bet I could asked for a special meal.

Easy walk to skytrain...very nice staff...free Tuk Tuk for a ride near hotel...free in-room wifi...nice rooms, clean...staff offered to store my bags while I went to Chiang Mai...They called a taxi that came on time to take me to the airport.

I need to upgrade in order to get the advertised bathtub...breakfast was so so (though free)...I did not find any good food options for vegetarians in the nearby area...no pool.

  • Travel tip : Tony, the Tuk Tuk driver, is a very nice guy...Next time I will take him up on his offer to have some drinks around town.

Hotel provide value for money, the staff is friendly and helpful. Location is away from main road if you are first time i suggest print the map.The hotel provide free shuttle service to the main room by tuk tuk so its not a problem. The room i stay is small (standard room) on promotion but its still clean and cosy. Breakfast provided is simple. Overall good place to stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is new and clean.

A bit of walking distance to main road.
