really really really really great stay in this newly-built hotel. room was extremely clean. this is unsurprisingly since it's newly built. location is good too, just a short walk away (takes about five minutes) from the nearest bts station. strongly recommend all sorts of travelers to stay in this hotel. i'll definitely go back to this hotel.

This is 1st time for us to visited Best Western Plus Hotel @ 20 Sukhumvit. The hotel is quite nice but you need to walk out around 50m. to the main road and another 100-150m.to the new shopping centre "Terminal21"and MRT and Sky train.

no suitable for older people stay, because the distance of the hotel to mrt/bts need to walk about 15 min.
hotel will provide service to send you to nearby mrt/bts (some time not available of service).
hotel recommend of the floating market taxi is expensive and not honest. (thb per taxi for 5 person)
1st, ticket of boat need thb5000 per boat. after negotiation is thb2000 per boat. but we feel the price still expensive.
2nd, he recommend the restaurant to us is too expensive as well. cost thb 2000.
very disappointed of the recommend.
hotel is nerby terminal 21 and naraya shop.
hotel is stay in central of the city.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 is great for younger people.

There was building work going on at the hotel which we had not been informed about prior to arrival. My partner is Thai and after she spoke to them they moved us to another room, but I do wonder if I would have been stuck with the noisy room if I was there on my own.
There was a flashing smoke detector right above the bed which disturbed my sleep. I found the hotel was lacking in atmosphere and features, there was no pool, just a jacuzzi.
The receptionist did not speak to me but to my partner which I found annoying as the booking was paid for by me. I know it is easler for them to speak in Thai but even so I found this discurteous.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is close to the Siam World Aquarium which is a great day out. Allow 4 - 5 hours to experience it fully.

The hotel location is okay, 10mins walk from the BTS Asok station, shopping mall, spa. The staff is friendly but the standard of hygiene must have to be improved.
The hotel is under renovation, a bit noisy, but doesn't really matter if you go out in the day time. I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, was assigned to the 2nd floor on the first night, the staff arranged another room for me on 8/F for another 2 nights. As I mentioned, the hotel is not clean enough...I saw a 3cm long cockroach in the bathroom of the first room i stayed, but the worst has not yet to come.... the bottom of my feet were badly bitten by the BED BUGS for more than 50 bites in total in the last night! They were so so so itchy and my feed were badly hurt! It's really bad!!~
P.S. There was free in room wifi, but I would say the reception was quite bad, always disconnected...I gotta use my own 3G in the end.
