Great location

Really liked the hotel. It has a great location, about a ten minute walk to Asoke BTS station and the new mall Terminal 21. They have a hotel tuktuk with which they'll drive you to station as well.
The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful, no complaints at all spoke English well. The rooms had everything that one could want. Well designed and the bed was very comfortable. Everything worked.
One drawback is that their pool is really a rather large whirlpool, not really a pool, good for soaking in, but not for swimming.

Clean and modern hotel

Suggest you take a taxi the first day you check in because it's not easy to find the hotel although it's 8-10 mins away from Asoke BTS. First thing I like about the hotel is that it has a modern looking and clean room but the lobby is too small. Very friendly front desk staff. Sure worth the amount we pay.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 shopping center is where Asoke BTS is. There's a 'Tao Kae Noi' crispy seaweed shop in teh basement selling different types of seaweed.

Best Western Plus Hotel @ 20 Sukhumvit is a good hotel at a great location. It is about a ten minute walk to Asoke and Terminal 21. The rooms are well designed, the bed is very comfortable. There is a good wifi signal in the room and you get it at no extra charge. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I would stay here again.

This is my first time stayed in best western plus hotel, I would like to thanks to trip advisor for the guest reviews which is recommend me to stay in this clean and comfortable hotel.
Transport :
Not recommend for family with children and elderly , is a distance to walk to the nearest MRT
Taxi and tuk tuk near the hotel always expensive as expected . My experience when I took a taxi to airport firstly the driver told me is 400 baht but when half a way he asking for 500 baht . As what he told me he will use the 100 baht to pay for all the toll fare . When I took a taxi upon my arrival is only 420 baht .
Overall is a good stayed with value for money , only the Internet connection is poor in the room.
Shopping Tip:
Terminal 21 is a good nearby place to shop yet the price is moderate .
Food:
You have varieties of choice for food , there is few restaurant from western , Japanese and local and also cheap beer along the street near hotel.
I would recommend to try local food at night near the hotel .

Great Hotel at a central location. Asoke BTS Skytrain station is a short walk away. Great breakfast buffet available on the Hotel rooftop. Friendly and attentive staff. It is a place I come back to when I stay in Bangkok. I'll be back!

Close to The Emporium and Terminal 21 for shopping.

Location wise, this hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance from the "excitement part" of Bangkok.

this hotel is a really good value for your money (at least at the rate i booked it - about $) and has good quality rooms. the location is good and the street is pretty mellow outside with plenty of restaurant options. the staff were very helpful. we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel, but service with an attitdude

We've stayed at this hotel more than 10 times in the past 2 years, which was a indication how much we used to like the place.
However, after being away from Bangkok for last 6 months, we've returned and stayed here.
We were disappointed to find a few changes attitude and standards...
1)The front desk refused to provide a 2nd key for us. said it was hotel policy only to provide 1.
2)We asked to extend and were pointed to computer to change our booking
3)Room cleaniness was poor, we found bits of food under the bed.
4)We overheard the front desk moaning about group of 6 wanting to take the tuk tuk service
The front desk staff have changed since our last stays, as they used to recall us and be very pleasant and very helpful...
AFTER the attitude and moaning on this visit, we decided not to both extending and moved to another hotel several roads away in the same price bracket.
Needless to say we won't returning back to this place or recommending to others again.

This location is convenient and the room itself was just as nice if not nicer than many of the 4 stars I have stayed at. Clean, quiet and stress free...they even extended my checkout on several occasions (I stay there now several times) to make it convenient format air travel. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great deal and to be treated fairly.
