Good proximity to airport, but needs work

This was the first of two nights that I stayed in this hotel (the second night being one week later). I had a layover in Bangkok and wanted to stay close to the airport. On my first visit, the only downside to the stay was a lack of hot water. I had to get ready in a limited amount of time, as my flight was very early in the morning. Therefore I didn't want to take the time to call the concierge and complain. I took a cold shower. When I did tell the concierge upon check-out, she didn't even apologize. But I don't know that she actually understood me - language barriers.

The Green Curry Chicken I ordered from room service was superb.

nice, clean but limited access to facilities

i was frustrated with my experience there. an airport hotel that costs this amount of money should have 24 hour access to the fitness center. instead the fitness center was only opened at 6 am and closed at 9 pm. and the pool closes at 7 pm. a place like this should understand that travellers are coming in and leaving at odd hours and they may want to exercise before getting back on a plane for long journey.

Terrific if you are stuck overnight in Bangkok.

i had to be at china-airlines out at 6 a.m. and i live in chiang mai. hence an overnight stay at best western. close to the airport, clean, lots of amenities that i was too tired to use. room service was great. i ordered two salads knowing that i'd eat half of one as a pre-breakfast the next day. free tea and coffee. good shampoos. bed=perfect. i spent for the room and for the taxi and thus saved almost on my rt flight lax-bangkok because of the early flight out of bangkok. terrific. i'll do this again. check out the gem exhibition in the lobby.
Shopping Tip:
Best Western is near a shopping center. I had planned on going but was too tired. I did check out the gem exhibition in the lobby and I liked that.

The room was amazing, very clean and beautifully presented.
I felt very safe having arrived late at night by myself. Room was quiet and even though the odd plane could be heard over head it wasnt very loud.

i only used this as a transit hotel to koh samui, but the room condition was way better than i expected. and they also provide free shuttle bus from airport to hotel which only takes about 13 min.
overall, it was definitely value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip:
i think the free shuttle bus from airport to hotel runs every 30mins. so if you are unlucky, you might have to wait for the bus about 20 mins. @ airport without any chair as i did. it was frustrating to have to wait so long at the airport.

i liked this hotel as it was close to the airport it is a new hotel and the staff are great. it is good value you have a nice modern room and good shower. the wifi works well and the pool area is nice. great for a short 1 night stopover.

this hotel is more beautiful than novotel suvarnabhumni hotel with soft beds and large room. but the distance between hotel and airport is a bit far and i wish the pick up service can last 24 hrs
