third time at this hotel, very good value
convenience, clean, staff is great, fitness center, food is good
9
this is my third time staying here, and each time the price has increased by about. not sure why that is. still a good value for money, but at last time i am about to seek a new place near the airport. i only use this as a transit hotel so i can avoid going into bangkok, and can avoid the way overpriced novotel. in truth, the best western is every bit as nice as the novotel for half the price. food is quite good, and the staff are excellent. the rooms are very nice and clean, and the fitness center is also very nice. there is nothing to see outside the hotel, but if you don't have a lot of time that doesn't matter. i still think they need to run the shuttle every half hour instead of every hour. that is a pretty big drawback if you just miss one and need to sit around for a whole hour waiting.

My flight to BKK was late at night. The location of the hotel was near the airport. Had to check in @ 2am. The hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Check in to the room was a breeze.
Rooms were big and spacious. The bed was excellent, comfortable.
The only complains were the restaurant food @ the lobby. lack variety.
Overall the stay was very pleasant.

Handy hotel for the airport
Reception was quick and efficient
4.3
The staff in the bar area should remember that some westerners do actually understand Thai and not make such obvious comments about guests staying in the hotel - some were not very nice!
The electronic key card failed after one day and had to go down to reception to get it fixed.
Food was ok but expensive.
Mini bar was not well stocked
TV had limited channel options, no movie choices which made it difficuly again for foreign guests.

Modern upbeat hotel with well furnished rooms
8.3
Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel is a clean comfortable modern hotel with excellent accommodations. The message spa was utilized and found to be very rewarding. The pool side bar is very accommodating to poolside refreshments including food services The complimentary transportation to and from the airport was very important and useful to us and was most appreciated. Overall, this hotel met our needs well.

Ideal Bangkok Transit Stop
Good rooms, quiet and comfortable
8.7
My pick of the airport hotels in Bangkok only 15 minutes from the airport the hotel runs an hourly bus from 6.00 in the morning. The rooms are a good size and have good bathrooms ideal if you want a good rest between flights. The nearest public transport (buses) is a 15 minute walk away at the Tesco Shopping Centre which is also the nearest shopping an alternative is to take the hotel shuttle and catch the train from the airport. Overall a good hotel which offers a good deal.

Great Hotel...not a terrific location
Beautiful property: great spa, restaurant, bar, staff, room

Rendezvous point for a group of volunteers heading to Bhutan; affordable; not that far from the airport (15-20 minutes). I would not recommend this as a destination hotel for Bangkok tourists as it is not located well for this purpose. It is an excellent overnighter for travelers in transit.
The spa was first class; excellent buffets and menu for all meals. This hotel would be 2-3 times the price if was located closer to city central.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Book free hotel shuttle to and from airport; leaves hotel on the hour (approx. 15-20 minutes)
