Lovely hotel with excellent service

I decided to stay at this hotel as I was arriving at Bangkok airport at 1am, and wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport. I requested an airport transfer, but unfortunately it either left before I got to the meeting point or didnt turn up! I was forced to get a taxi, luckily this was quite cheap at 150 Baht anyway.
Aside from the transfer mix-up my stay was very enjoyable. The room was spacious and very comfortable and modern. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, although the location is not very convenient, and really only suitable for staying for one night either side of a flight from the airport.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Request an airport transfer if travelling from the airport. However dont bank on it turning up! There are public taxi stands outside the airport, ask that they use the meter and it should be quite cheap, around 150 Baht.

Best Western Amaranth

I had a 2 night layover in Bangkok and the Best Western Amaranth suited my needs perfectly. There was a convenient free hotel shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms were comfortable and service was fine. Good restaurant, pool and exercise spa on site.

Cleanest hotel I ever stayed in Bangkok. Easy to go to town by taking airport rail way directly to town. Connecting to BTS rail system.

This is a good hotel if you are either transiting through Bangkok or on a short business visit. Very nicely designed and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet.

We stayed at the Best Western Amaranth for one night as we had a connecting flight the following morning. We did not want to pay the expensive prices of the Novotel, which is closer to the airport, and found this wonderful alternative. The airport transfer was simple and fast (around 15 minutes). Even though we didn't manage to book the transfer in advance, that was no problem for the staff at the airport who took us immediately in the hotel minibus. On arrival at the hotel, staff were very pleasant and efficient and we were taken to our lovely new rooms - large and spacious, with a beautifully designed bathroom and all the amenities one would need. After a great night sleep (in total silence) we were taken back to the airport the next morning feeling very reffreshed and ready for our onward flight.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel close to the airport.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't miss the lovely swimming pool at the back of the hotel!

Beautiful hotel, service excellent and spa was fantastic. I had two massages and both were excellent standard. Unfortunately room service was poor. Room service menu description was not representative of food delivered on two occassions. I ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon that should have come with cream cheese and capers. Instead it came as eggs benedict with bacon and hashbrown on the side. I ordered a crab and green paw paw salad which was more like a pasta salad. I didn't eat it and asked them to take it away and take it off the bill.

Bangkok Amarenth Hotel
High Style, very friendly staff

Overall I was very impressed with the Hotel, the pool was lovely and the Restaurant food was great .Everything was very well maintained and the staff very friendly- they took good care of us.
