The rooms were clean, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, it is in a great location. Breakfast is included.
The hotel restaurant is not that great, however the included breakfast is good.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Bhiman Inn and would enjoy going back next time I have business in Bangkok. The hotel restaurant has a small computer for guests as well as wireless internet access. The Bhiman Inn is very close to the river boat access point making it easy to get around and Phra Athit road has quite a few small cafes, restaurants and shops which are fun to visit.
Travel tip : Coffee and More (located across from the river boat stop) is a fun place for dessert and coffee and has free wifi.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, great location for sightseeing, quiet, pleasant restaurant where you can eat or just chat, play cards, rest.
Can't think of any weaknesses.
We left our bags for the day as we had a night flight and upon our return were offered a shower, towels, soap in the pool shower room at no charge.
We sat in the restaurant(open air to the street)to pass the time, playing cards and resting. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. All the staff was pleasant and I would definitely stay there again. It was very convenient to the river ferry. We used the ferry for most of our sightseeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : River ferry to sightseeing attractions and restaurants a great way to get around

Close to Khao San Road, clean, helpful staff
breakfast not that wonderful!
The Bhiman Inn Hotel was our first point of call when we arrived in Thailand. We were greeted by some helpful staff and they even let us check in 2 hours early! We asked for walking directions to some temples nearby and again they were very helpful. We had to go away for a night as well and they locked our big backpacks away so we didnt have to drag them out with us! Overall I would recommend the Bhiman Inn hotel to anyone looking for a cheap comfortable stay in bangkok.

The manageress and reception staff were very nice, welcoming, helpful and at all times polite.
Safe deposit boxes is a bonus.
The restaurent manager was as miserable as sin and abrubt, he is consistent though! Just same every day with customers and staff alike. You can get a smile and a chat from the ladies once you break the ice. Breakfast very mediocre, avoid the bacon and the eggs display the residue of whatever else has been cooking.
Hotel is jaded and definately could not be described as nice.
No hot water in shower room, vanity bowl is plumbed cold only so cannot get a decent wet shave.
But for the manageress and reception staff who are very nice I would have changed hotel.
On the whole disappointing, hotel is bland and lifeless but what do you expect for the money.
Shop around you can do much better than this hotel for less baht however, advise spend a little more to have an enjoyable stay.
No way can be described as a boutique hotel.
We suffered with a lot of bites and itching during sleep, not experienced this on four previous trips to Thialand.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Is close to Khao San Rd and many other tourist spots, such as temples and the Grand Palace, easy access to taxis, tuk-tuks etc, nice park adjacent to river which is also nearer to the much nicer Navalai hotel.
Is 2 minutes walk to tourist areas. Use the riverboats, great value.
Try the Blues bar over the bridge, 5 minutes walk, great entertainment

within walking distance to the kaosan...but yet far away! breakfast was good, the staff were friendly..the rooms were clean and the shower very good and powerful
just a tad noisy with the traffic, but then you are in bangkok
within walking distance to many shops and sights...a lovely garden when you turn from the hotel. local shops, with different things for gifts...the kaohsan road with 5-10mins walk to enjoy the sights and sounds of that neighbour hood and has to be seen and heard...eat and drink and just people watch.. the hotel was better than expected...very clean and the shower very good and powerful. the staff were friendly and able to help you with wanting to go somewhere - point you in the right direction...had an enjoyable 3 night stay
Hotel Feature Tip : the airport bus, will drop you outside, no need to taxi

Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, near a lot of tourist spots, quiet, easy to find, good food
Restaurant staff were sometimes inattentive to customers
The staff were helpful and efficient, the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was close to Khao San Rd (a five or so minute walk away) and many other tourist spots, such as temples and the Grand Palace, and there was easy access to taxis, tuk-tuks and buses, but it was remote enough from tourist areas that it was not crowded or loud at night. It wasn't the absolute cheapest hotel, but I think that I definitely got what I paid for.

The booking process was smooth. After the initial 3 days that I had booked in advance, I was able to extend using Agoda at a rate slightly less than that offered by the hotel itself.
Restaurant Tip : Mai Kaidee has a vegetarian restaurant nearby on Samsen Road which serves delicious meals at a reasonable price.

Overall, an okay place to stay for a stopover.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is close to the river - buy an all day ticket for the ferry, hop on and off and explore this part of the city. We ended up seeing far more of Bangkok this way than we would have done if we had gone straight to each attraction.

The Bhiman Inn is good choice if you want to be in the Khaosan Rd area which is only a short walk away, and as a result, much quieter at night.
