Affordable
closed to shopping area, bars, temples and other tourist attractions.

At first it's nice but when we are about to check-out the manager told us that we have to pay for an extra 100 baht each (7 pax) for the tour package that we took from them. She told us that the tour package rate they gave us is incorrect, it was an old rate. We shouldn't pay for their faults. It is the manager's responsibility to check if their rate is up to date.

Not a good experience with the hotel
close to major attractions, cheap, quite clean

Boonsiri Place Bangkok is almost near the major attractions in Bangkok like the Temples and Night Markets though if you are not familiar with the place and decided to take a taxi most drivers are not familiar with the area and you'll get lost. Always remember to bring with you a printed copy of the hotel map and hand it over to the driver but even so they are not too familiar with the place. The day before we left bangkok we decided to book a group tour with the hotel with agreed price, they have already issued a receipt and we have completed the tour but on the day of our checkout they are requiring us to pay an additional amount because as per the staff the price given to us for the tour was wrong. And the catch there is the staff of the hotel is accusing us of changing the price list. Will definitely not book again with this htotel. The assistance is not great.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. A few mosquitoes in the room, even though it was on the 5th floor. Housekeeping failed to clean room 2 days... when I came back about 8 pm, I told the front desk the room had not been serviced for the 2nd day, they said "so what you want to do about it now?" Well, at least they brought some fresh towels.

Basic hotel with kind and helpful staff

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very responsive and helpful. The breakfast is simple and not particularly good, although again the kitchen staff are charming. This is a good location to visit the Royal Palace.
Beware the dishonesty of the Tuk Tuk and taxi drivers, who endeavour to overcharge every time. Taxi drivers are reluctant to set the meter - insist they do and you will half their "special price"!.

Staff is very helpful.
We landed at 1 AM and AC was not working in our room.
They changed the room without any fuss.

However hotel is close to mine attractions of Bangkok there is not the best area. Pavement outside the hotel is full of sellers selling old, dirty shoes and other useless items. There is quite dark in night and this area is full of money girls...
Hotel's room was clean and big but air con very weak, no fridge in room, and wi-fi didn't work properly. Room had kettle but not cups - pointless.
Breakfast buffet was cold and not the biggest choice (two kind of eggs, sausages, toast and jam, fruits and vegetarian pasta).
You could find something much better for this price.

This hotel was just Ok.Nothing specfically wrong but nothing special about it either. the one thing that really bothered was , I had oredered a taxi for the next morning to take me to the airport. When I arrived downstairs the receptionist had sent it away. When I questioned him he said that I was not there,I asked then why did you not call me in my room . We ended up taking a taxi off the street , which had no seatbelts and I do no think the driver was positive of the exits to take.
I would stay in this hotel again ,but I would also look around for another one.

The room was clean and comfortable. It is about 10 mins walk from Khao San Road. However, it seem like the bed was sprayed with excessive pesticide for bedbugs. Fortunately, I did not get sick from the chemical.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It is 10 mins walk from Khao San road. It is on a small street so the hotel is not easy to find. Watch out for the pesticide spray on the bed. Other than that, I like the hotel.
