Lovely hotel and decent location

The room was clean and comfortable. It is about 10 mins walk from Khao San Road. However, it seem like the bed was sprayed with excessive pesticide for bedbugs. Fortunately, I did not get sick from the chemical.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It is 10 mins walk from Khao San road. It is on a small street so the hotel is not easy to find. Watch out for the pesticide spray on the bed. Other than that, I like the hotel.

Boonsiri Place is the place to stay in Bangkok!
Great location in Old City, high quality, clean, large, quiet, room, friendly staff always willing to help.

I stayed times at Boonsiri two times within one month of travel in Thailand. My total stay at Boonsiri was 6 days. Both times were wonderful. The Boonsiri's location is in easy walking or Tuck Tuck distance of the Grand Palace, Wat Phro or the water bus that takes you to Wat Arun plus many other sites in the Old City. The staff at Boonsiri always made me feel at home by helping me with whatever question I had. The internet in the room was strong. My 2nd stay the internet was not working. When I alerted the staff to this they quickly fixed it and the connection was strong and constant.
Also, the Boonsiri offers a delicious breakfast with eggs, noodles, fruits, salad, juice, coffee, tea and more. I highly recommend Boonsiri Place to everyone.
Travel tip:
As a single woman I felt safe walking around the neighborhood around the Boonsiri during the day and late at night. Be careful of pick pockets around the Grand Palace, especially when you are walking through the Market on the backside of the Palace. Make sure to eat the delicious pineapple sold at various food carts. Bangkok is easy if stay at the Boonsiri Place and get to this neighborhood. The Thai people are friendly and gracious.

This place was just fine... about the standard of a Motel 6 in the US. Not special, but definitely adequate, clean, with comfortable beds, television, bottled water and a good breakfast with fresh fruit. The rest of the food could be better, but was ok. They had several computers for the public to use. The only thing that bothered me was that the wifi did not work on the top floor, which is where my room was. I had to go down stairs when I would have prefer to snuggle up in bed and email friends at home. It was easy to grab transportation from here by tuk tuk or cab and the door man helped wave a taxi down for me. The staff were all very gracious and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay.But, don't pay more than $35 for it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Blocks from Khao San Road, which is fun and not far from the palace.

It is a good hotel with nice breakfast.
It is said to near Khao San Road, but still need to walk around 10 minutes, so it is not very convenient after drinking in Khao San Road. But staying there, you would not feel noisy outside, you could sleep well after tiring tour.
The shower is good, with hot running water.
The service in restaurant is much better than in receiption.

I stayed here because it was close to Sanam Luang and venue of Bangkok marathon which was my annual race event. The room is medium- sized and clean. There is no bathtub or refrigerator but 7'11 shop is just 100 meters away (24 h opening). The breakfast is OK, at standard level. The location is a bit difficult for taxi to go.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sanam Luang, Wat Prakaew, National Museum are at walking distance.
