Excellent staff
Lovely breakfast
Attractive reception
Pool not so great
Connecting room a problem
We stayed at the Bossotel to finish our Thailand holiday and having stayed there at the beginning of our holiday it felt quite familiar. The staff were great just as before, helpful and friendly and breakfast was lovely and fresh with lots of variety.
The only problem we had was with the room which was only a standard and was connected to another room. The connecting door was obviously secured but we were disturbed by the occupants in the other room talking both late at night and early the following morning. We advised the reception and were given an apology but would not want to be put in that situation again although we would happily choose to stay at the hotel again.
Travel tip : Great little eating place a few doors away

Attractive reception
Good value
Superb choice for breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Swiming pool not very big or attracive
See full review re connecting room
We booked a superior room for our first visit at the beginning of the holiday and this was a lovely room, very spacious, good facilities and very comfortable.
Breakfast is served up to 10.30 which is excellent when you are on holiday and want a bit of a lie-in, the food was excellent too. It was excellent value too by booking via Agoda. the staff are very friendly and helpful.
At the end of our holiday we could only get a standard room which was not so big or comortable. We also discovered late at night that we had a connecting door to another room which was obviously locked but, we could actually hear the people next door talking late into the night plus they left a light on all night which shone through, under & round the door, into our room, not so handy as we needed to get up for a flight the next morning!
However the staff are excellent and we would use the hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The sky train & the river ferry are just around the corner, 5/10 minutes walk away.

Great location
Quiet
Helpful staff
Nice breakfast
Very good location, next to subway station and ferry pier. Quick ride to the Grand Palais, and temples with the ferry, and quick ride to downtown with the subway. Quiet and charmful street. Nice bedrooms, clean and well equiped. Very good breakfast buffet included in the bedroom price. Smiling and helpful staff.

It's only a 5 minute walk to the sky train and also to the river taxi's. Can walk to shopping on Silom and also to our favorite restaurant, Harmonique. The staff is very pleasant. Daily buffet breakfast is very plentiful and tasty. The spa has the BEST foot massages at the cheapest rates around.
The 5th and 6th rooms are dated and baths a little moldy with stained ceilings. Views are not appealing. Hallways are not air conditioned so very stuffy getting to and from rooms.
This hotel is perfectly located for everything we like to show visiting guests. We can easily get to transportation, shopping and restaurants. They even give you umbrellas to borrow when you go out. Despite the little annoyances we will stay here again and again due to all the good points and the excellent price which affords us more shopping!
Hotel Feature Tip : Their spa is priced as good as their hotel. We had foot massages and full Thai massages and both were excellent. We paid about 250 baht for the foot, shoulder, scalp, lower back massage, and 300 baht for the full Thai. Both were an hour.

great location, great restaurant, friendly staff
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, however I think they need to do some upgrade to the standard rooms. Great location, close to the river. The hotel breakfast was excellent. Great selection, wonderful service. The spa is really nice...definitly a must for any couple. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hands down, best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. Good staff, clean rooms, near airtrain & river express boats. The small swimming pool is a nice bonus. Generally quite kid-friendly, too.
Many of the rooms have windows on the inside of the building, so if looking out on the street rather than across to another room is important to you, you'll have to make a special request.
I stayed here both times I was in Bangkok, and would return in an instant; great value for the money. The location is great--just up the street from the Shangri-La hotel and near public transportation. The breakfast buffet is great--home-baked breads, home-made muesli and granola, home-made yoghurt, home-made jams, and a nescafe machine that churns out delicious cafe creme. That's all in addition to what you'd expect from a buffet--omelet station, trays of rice, noodles, breakfast meats, etc., baked sweets, salads. A great way to start the day.

Breakfast--cereals, yogurt, omelet station, good breads, buffet--should keep anyone happy all day. The location is perfect for quick city access.
AC is weak on upper floors but floor 3 is strong.
We've stayed at the Bossotel almost 2 weeks in the last 3 months and will probably return as the location makes access to the city very easy. Within a 5 minute walk is the Sky Train, (no elevator or escalator)and the river ferry. There is no need to subject yourself to gridlock. The rooms vary greatly but all are a good size, have comfortable beds, could use stronger lighting and the bathrooms uniformly need upgrading but are clean and all systems work. We stayed here with our twin 2-yr. old grandchildren and they were charmed by the staff. We found a separate dining room to feed them away from the other guests. The hotel food is tasty and arrived promptly allowing us to keep the children happy. The wat across the street had lovely grounds with fish ponds that the boys loved. The street is quiet and very safe.
Travel tip : The hotel is on the same small lane as the Shangarila Hotel, which is more widely known among cab drivers.

Comfortable beds. Quiet location. Made to order omelets. Fresh fruit.
The bathroom fixtures in the older rooms are in rough shape. Some little ants paraded through the bathroom.
We stayed in a deluxe and standard room during our two stays at the Boss. The bathroom in the deluxe room was an up-grade from the standard. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. Easy computer use in a private setting. Foot massage right next door. Great breakfast. The staff was courteous and helpful. Excellent location. Easy to get a taxi, tuk-tuk, or walk to the sky train.
Restaurant Tip : Dinner at the Oriental Hotel is a bit expensive though worth it! Ask for an outside table.

The proximity of the hotel to landmarks (Oriental and Shangrila Hotels), the Sky Train, and the River taxi dock made the hotel cheaply accessible to many parts of the city. It was also close to a dinner theater on Silom and good shopping.
Given the very reasonable price, what is not to like? Everything offered was good!
The proximity of the Bossotel to landmarks (Shangrila Hotel, the Sky Train, and the River taxi dock) made the hotel cheaply accessible to many parts of the city. It was also close to a dinner theater on Silom and good shopping. A tour marketer served as a helpful concierge to help us figure how to get to the Kao Yai National Park and various parts of town and provided good advice.
The staff was very friendly and competant. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and attractive.
Breakfast was outstanding and the menu was varied everyday. The homemade preserves, juices, variety of hot drinks, and omelets prepared to order complemented a variety of hot dishes and pastries, filling us until late in the day. We will be back, God willing!
Nightlife Tip : The dinner dance presentation at Silom Village was a way to appreciate Thai culture and dinner after a long day. It was a little pricey for Bangkok, but it was comfortable and suitable for older folks.

Great location with good value.
Rooms and bathroom need attention to the detail on cleanliness. Tub needs new caulking to prevent mildew. All doors and walls should be repainted to better the remodeling effort. Hallway carpet needs attention to their installation. All rooms should be none smoking
Third time stayed and saw improvement but still need attention to the detail on room and bathroom and its cleanliness. Good staffs and enjoyable breakfast with lot of fruit varieties. Staffs are helpful and quick to respond when requested. Location is quiet at night and lively with food market on the main street during the day. Would recomend to other travelers.
Hotel Feature Tip : Great foot message next door

This is a small hotel fairly basic but the fitness room is ok. Swimming pool small and generaly shaded. Rooms are basic. It is convenient for the bts overground train service that is recommended to use as the traffic in bangkok can be very bad. It is very conveniently placed near the river.it is ok for a short stay
Travel tip : use the BTS to travel.
