Have been choosing this hotel as for my x'mas trip for 2011. Is really a lovely hotel with a great location. Just walking distance to all the shopping spot like Pratunam market, platinum mall etc. However the weakness point is the Wifi in the room was unable to functioned well during our stay.

budacco is situated in the best shopping area, there are many shops & shopping mall around. you can take suvarnabhumi airport rail link to ratchaprarop station, it cost only per pax, and only 10mins walk from bts to the hotel. the hotel staffs are very friendly & helpful. you can easily get tuk tuk or taxi just outside the hotel too. the only thing is breakfast variety is limited & the free wifi didn't actually work at nite most of the time. overall its a nice budget hotel & we really like their service. keep up the good job budacco!
Shopping Tip:
The morning market outside the hotel started from 5am-9.30am daily, u can get lots of cheap clothes.

the staff are very friendly. they literally speak to you with a chirp in their voices. the hotel is tucked in a corner along one of the lanes in pratunam. when the taxi dropped us there, we thought we were taken for a ride! it's only when the pink uniformed staff greeted us warmly then we realised that we have to walk in the alley to get into the hotel.
clean and cosy hotel. do not expect world class amenities but it's comfortable enough for a boutique hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Remember to get the cab to go on meter. The driver will ask if want to go on meter or give a flat rate. They are usually fine with just meter though the flat rate that they offer are usually around the same as the meter fare.

Room was very clean. Value for money. Food quality was moderate. Location was convenient for wholesale fashion shopping and value for money for massaging services. Location of hotel was difficult for the taxi driver to find. Near to the tallest hotel in Bangkok.

Tho the hotel was not situated somrwhere visible, it is undeniable that the location is fantastic! With the pratunam market just a bend away, and platinum mal just 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast choices were limited tho.

Budacco is definitely worth its price. My girlfriend and I were sourcing for a budget hotel and we thought this fits well as one. It isn't too pricey and is situated at one of the best location for shoppers. Only less than 5mins walk to Pratunum Market and 5-10mins walk to Platinium Mall. These 2 are the shopping paradise for most people I guess. It also is quite near to a BTS station (Ratchaprarop station) which lies on the Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link. Which means that we took this BTS train service to and fro Budacco and the airport. For 40baht and 30mins ride. It is only around a 10mins walk.
What is good about Budacco is also that there are many roadside stalls just along the streets that the hotel is situated at. Hence, we always can buy some food on our way back to the hotel whenever it is (anytime from late morning to late night).
Generally, for Budacco, the staff are friendly and very much service-oriented. You can state any requests you may have and I'm sure they will try their best to make it happen for you. This hotel also provides one international adapter in every room (which was sufficient for us to share and take turns to use, so we needn't had to buy another one when we realised we forgot to bring)
What we thought could be improved is probably only that their breakfast variety could widen alittle more and that it is kind of weird that the sink is not in the bathroom, but just beside the wardrobe but thankfully at a corner. Another thing is that Budacco has rooms up till 8th floor but the lift only goes up to the 7th. It's not a problem for us because I could carry all the heavy and bulky luggages up and down the stairs for my girlfriend and myself. But for all-female travellers who might shop till you have more than one really heavy luggage to lug around, you might want to consider stating your preference of staying at a floor where the lift serves.
Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at Budacco.
Shopping Tip:
Head to Pratunum Market first before anywhere else if you are looking for cheap deals for clothings! From what we observed, a good proportion of the clothes you can find in Platinium Mall can be found in Pratunum Market too, but at a much cheaper price.

location was great with platinum mall across the road, only about 10 min walk away.
hotel is also walking distance from the train from airport.
room was clean and had all the neccessary amenities.
bed was comfortable and they had a small bench with cushions to sit on.
there was hot water and air conditioner was cold.
Shopping Tip:
platinum mall across the road has excellent ladies fashion for cheap!

When my girlfriend and me first arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the doorman and the staffs of Budacco. We were then served with a welcome drink and a warm face towel to freshen us up while checking in. What made a huge impression about our stay was their service and they were excited and lively when greeting us which really made us felt good and happy too.
Shopping Tip:
Budacco is in the hearts of Pratunam which had many shops for you to shop. Remember to get a good bargain!

It's quite hard to find the place initially but we got there eventually. Warmly welcomed by hotel staffs. One morning was woken up by the vacuum cleaner noise at about 8am where there's an early check-out room. Very glad to have free wifi which made communication back home easily. My friends' hotel stated wifi is available but gotta pay for usage. Free wifi is great plus point!
