As we already know very well the Centara Grand in Samui we really can recommend also this one. Very friendly staff, very well equipped bedrooms. Just a wonderful place to stay.

Very good location, especially after having travelled in very remote areas for some weeks.

Excellent location as it located within the heart of the city. Proximity to major shopping centers and the BTS. The BTS station is just approximately 10 mins away either way i.e. Central Station or Chitlom station. The hotel's F&B facilities is adequate. I enjoyed the daily ABF spread with a huge spread. Quality is good too.

We have stayed in Thai 4-5 star hotels probably for 4-6 weeks, for around 15 years so are used to the wonderful Thai hospitality and know what to expect.This is a 4 star hotel, but as it is new,someone think it deserves 5 but it does not. The workmanship on the construction is extremely poor, in many places it looks 10 years old,the food is average, many staff are busy talking to each other, and there is a general lack of professionalism. We booked to go to the Saturday night seafood buffet,which showed lobster tails on the brochure but when we asked where they were,we were told there were none,and given a 5% discount.--5 star! Overall other than their position,very average hotel,well behind many great hotels in Bangkok and Thailand.

Position is their number 1 feature.

Poorly managed in our opinion. Some staff good, some very indifferent.

  • Travel tip : Excellect restaurants in the Central World building next door, great position with rail/skywalk.
