Sim K. Couples Singapore, April 27, 2011	good location, helpful staff and great services. great view of the skyline. 7.3 the in-house taxi service needs to be improved. We felt that the doormen are working with the taxis to get some extra dough. The doormen quoted us 500 bahts 'fixed' price to the airport. Luckily we opted for "meter changes" rate (according to the meter rate, that is) and the rate came up to less than 300 bahts. We were be con out of 200 bahts should we opted for the doormen "recommendation". This left us with a bad taste in our mouth in a otherwise perfect vacation in Centara.

Couples Malaysia, April 26, 2011	Comfort in a central location Spacious room, 5 star feel, central location connected to Central World shopping centre, easy to get cabs 9 We had a good stay, the staff were very polite as all staff are, and the rooms are comfortably and well furnished. Room service was also very fast -- calling for an international adapter took less than 10 mins to reach my door. There is a really great bar on level 55 (red sky I think) and is not as well known as the Sirocco or Vertigo but you will get the same experience -- the happy hour rates are fantastic, and my husband and his friends found themselves there daily having their beers before dinner! If its not raining, sit outside for a great view of Bangkok. The dining on level 55 is not bad, but on the higher end. Very easy to get cabs, just go downstairs and the hotel staff will hail one for you and direct the taxi driver. If it's raining u can borrow hotel umbrellas as well -- just give them your room number and remember to return them. The only thing I'd comment is that some of us in the group got bathrooms with a circular bathtub that had a curtain u pull around when u want to shower. I would have prefered separate shower stall and bathtub as the water splashes out when u shower otherwise and makes the bathroom slippery. Another friend in the group got the separate glass shower stall so i think the rooms are just designed differently. If you have a strong preference, make this known at the check in so you will get what you want. The bathrooms were fine otherwise, well furnished. Note that there is no cotton provided in the toiletries which is unusual for asian hotels so bring some if you're one of those ladies that needs it. Otherwise, great hotel and we got a good deal off Agoda, much cheaper than the published price on the hotel website. Will stay again since it's so conveniently connected to Central World hotel and literally a 5 min walk to Platinum Mall. Great for shoppers and people who want to easily access good and clean food.

Tuck M. Couples Malaysia, April 25, 2011	Perfect location for shopping Location! 8.3 The hotel was located perfectly next to the Central World shopping centre which is the largest in Bangkok. This means you only need to go through a lift to get to the mall, and all the eateries and shopping you need. Around the corner, less than 10 mins walk is the Platinum Fashion Mall, wholesale bonanza for ladies looking for a bargain. The rooms were fairly conmfortable, good value for what you get for the price. Service is top notch, as always for Bangkok hotels, one of the best service in the world. I asked for an international adaptor by calling the concierge and it came within 5 mins. Thats what I call service!

The main reason I selected this hotel was because a majority of my meetings were going to be at the adjoining Central World offices. Overall it's a great hotel at a great location. However, I wasn't equally impressed with my room. For a hotel that's approximately 2 years old, the room appeared aged well beyond its years. The desk chair and sofa had a lot of wear and tear. The furniture appeared scratched and not well-cleaned (I could see smudge marks). This didn't really strike me as a room befitting of a 5-star hotel.

Couples Thailand, April 20, 2011	Modern and luxurious hotel with magnificent view Comfortable room with function in the design with amazing dining experience at Red Sky 8.3 It was a short but very comfortable and memorable stay, leaving us wanting more. The room is relative small but it was well designed to accommodate 2 people. The bathroom is very modern with a few tricks up its sleeves. The staff were professional, though could be more friendly.

Couples United States of America, April 20, 2011	Nice hotel but food overpriced with slow elevators good location, nice size rooms 5 The rooms was comfortable and reasonably prices, however red sky the roof top bar restaurant had pushy waitress, under cooked food and overly price plates. The only thing nice was the view, but not worth the experience. Been to much better roof top bars around the world.

Even can find a receptionist can speak in good Mandarin 9.3 Everything is nice, the price is reasonable. But not included breakfast. You should go to the swimming to take some photos. Nice view. And the bar on 55/F, expensive, but nice view.
