my 3rd time staying in this hotel and will probably come back the next time i travel to bangkok.
its a great hotel for the business traveler. its clean, modern and well kept. the room has all the features you will expect of a 5 star business hotel and the well-designed bath room is a plus.
the location is very convenient, bts station is within a short wall. central world is attached to the hotel.

This is indeed a 5 star hotel and the price matches it. Rooms are of good size and the bed is very comfortable. There is a bath as well as a shower area.
However for the price you pay I feel that it should come with free internet access of which is chargeable.
Breakfast is also not cheap unless you are eating both breakfast and lunch at the same time in the international spread that they have.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a cafe in the lobby entrance on the ground floor where you can have breakfast if you like pastries at an "affordable" price. The coffee there is also great with a choice to choose from.

Majestic views and extraordinary service

Checking in was very accommodating in the Executive Lounge and the reception and staff were very friendly; ensuring that every concern and need was taken care to make our stay a pleasant one. Food was excellent and the spa was absolute heaven.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Book a package to include a spa treatment, it can be rather pricey otherwise; however absolutely worthwhile.

Centara Grand is great for shopping as its adjoined to a mall and within walking distance of BTS and other malls like Platinum, MBK and Pantip Plaza. They have a restaurant on the Skydeck with an amazing view and very hospitable staff. Rooms are modern, also has 2 shower heads & a bath, has excellent wi-fi connection. Only bad thing i can comment is that the reception is on the 23rd floor

Rooms are indeed tired despite the hotel is only 4 years old. Hotel is too pricey for the facilities offered - positions itself as a 5-star but is 4-star at best. Staff is polite and friendly, but nothing more - despite several requests no-one cared to fix the problem with cold water during three days I stayed there.
Nevertheless, would definitely recommend this hotel for those interested in shopping because of its location right above the Central World and across the street from Siam Paragon, and for those on short business trips.

the rooms are beautiful and well furnished and located at the higher levels thus the scenery outside the windows are beautiful. red sky restaurant is an unquie experience. dining at the top of the skyscraper. spa and massage has longer operating time than other hotels. the staffs are friendly and very professional. the hotel is connected with a shopping center which makes shopping and other lesiure very easy. a movie theatre is also located in the building. i seriously recommend this hotel if you are looking for a comfy stay in bangkok. i'll will be booking this hotel again on my next visit.
