location is great. Price is great. Rooms are ok. Staff are mostly ok when not busy. Facilities are old like ten years old and it shows.ie smelly pillows chipped kitchen faciliies. Way way out of dated gym equipments. But for this price range i'm not really complainning and will most probably come back because of work. oh by the way Breakfast were above average.

Not the best CP Hotel in Bangkok
Very close to BTS and embassies, Swimming pool was a good temperature and has nice side area for younger children to safely use.

I've stayed at several Centrepoint properties in Bangkok. I needed to conduct some business at the US Embassy and decided to check out this property.
Unlike some other CP properties, we were not given a complimentary upgrade (we stayed 3 nights) so my daughter had to sleep on a couch instead of fold-out bed.
Room was clean, had a nice view (26th floor) and was well equipped with kitchen & washer-dryer. My 9 daughter (age 9) and I used the pool several times. This is the first pool, at any hotel I've used in Bangkok, where the water was not too chilly or too tepid. It was very pleasant. Water depth is 1.5 m across entire main pool area. There is a good sized children's pool at 0.5 m depth. It also has a very large (4-5 m long), oval shaped side area with benches that is only 0.9 m depth. This adjoined the main pool and was shaded. It was ideal for my daughter to safely practice her swimming. Security also made regular rounds of the pool.
The downside includes the breakfast and something about the bed. While at breakfast with my daughter one morning, I went with her to help her make some toast. When I returned my half-finished eggs & bacon were gone. Yet, my unfinished toast was still sitting there. The restaurant staff is very eager to clear plates. You might have to specifically tell them to leave your plate while you go get something else.
The bed. I suspect the bed has bedbugs or fleas down near the foot of the bed. My feet felt funny down there. After checkou and on my return trip to the USA, my left foot/ankle was itchy. My right foot was itchy on several toes. After I got back to the USA, my first night in my bed, I constantly rubbed/scratched my left foot/ankle and right foot toes. I now have a scab on my left ankle from all the rubbing/scratching. I suspect the bed has bedbugs or fleas.
While the CP Wireless Property is convenient to the US Embassy, I doubt I will stay there again. It's priced higher than other CP properties in Bangkok, yet the staff jus

this is an excellent hotel for the price. the lobby afrea is very well done, as the area just outside the hotel.
my first room a/c did not work well, so i was moved to an upgraded room. rooms are very nice with a small lanai.
the hotel is close to the ploenchit bts stop. in the morning, there are alot of food vendors across the street, and around the corner on sukhumvit for a reasonable breakfast of frest cooked eggs and sandwiches.
i would stay here again, and recommend this hotel for solo and family travellers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
always use the ploenchit bts stop for the hotel.

Great breakfast, though not many choices of food but quality is good and you can order cappucino or expresso other than normal coffee. There are self-service laundry machines in the basement, just 80 Bahts for washing 10kg of clothes and another 80 Bahts for drying. Great for those who will stay for one week or longer. Gymn is vary spacious. Free internet in the room and wifi in the restaurant for easy access to internet.

The moment we touched down at Bangkok airport, we took the AE3 bus which took us less than an hour to phoen chit BTS station. From there on, it is a 10 minutes walk and it was quite easy to locate the hotel. From the hotel, one can experience local delicay for 30 bahts or less as there are many small stalls located near the overhead bridge along the way to BTS station. The location is very strategic since its only a good 10 minutes walk away from the BTS station which practically could bring you to most parts of bangkok. Because of the good location, we were able to visit the patpong area till 1130pm and still manage to get the BTS train as they run until quite late at night.
We were quite impressed with the level of the service and fascilities offered by the staff. One could get fresh towels each time one would like to swim or enjoy a relaxing time in the sauna/jacuzzi. However, it was dissapointing that a hotel of this quality does not have any spa/massage services as ther claim to be a 4-5 star hotel.
We did not have the breakfast buffet at the cafe. However, i have to admit that the price of the items in the cafe is quite pricey compared to local standards i.e ice coffee is around 120bahts.
Another problem we had was during the 1st day of our stay, we noticed that the hot water was not available from the shower. We put in a complaint in the late afternoon and this was not fixed until the next day.
In terms of the room, its quite spacious. I personally love the bathroom and the windowframe which could be opened. There is nothing special about the balcony although it does offer a good view at night.
Overall, it was a good experience staying at the hotel and i would probably be back again if i viit bangkok again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a small funfair with fun-rides and games just 5 minutes from the hotel when we were there.

This is one of my favourites becsuse it's very near BTS station. An excellent location, tidy and neatly room and reasonable rates. I had stayed with my friends in Centre Point for 3 nights. We all had so good time here. A remarkable and relax holiday in Bangkok.

good location stores near by many embusys close... an a short walk girls girls girls...the general area is upscale,,i enjoyed the pool set in a nice location .. the staff was very nice an helpfull .. the rooms were set up with a few things if u wanted to cook your own dinners all around a very nice place ..

It was about 300 baht from the international airport 200 to the other local airport.. the area is surronded by many embaseys easy walking distance..for some night life u could walk out the front door turn left an walk to the main intersection turn right then go about 3 blocks an see many clubs an shopping along the street as well as the side streets worth checking out..
Also a large shopping mall near by prices a bit high but nice things there...Only stayed there one night but will go again
