Excellent hotel in a very good location

Oasis of peace in a very busy area. Large rooms perfectly equipped, nice view, close to the pier and skytrain station.

The hotel is located in a very busy area with very good connection to the interesting places. Rooms are very big and equipped even with washing machines and ovens. Check in is allowed from 14:00, but we could get a room at 12:00 already. The guards can call for a taxi which are very cheap, but better to control the drivers if you are able to or if you have a gps - they like to show you half of Bangkok on a presumely short trip. The restaurant at the hotel is a very weak choice, basically there's nothing available apart from the breakfast and room service. But it's not a problem at all, within a short walk there are many restaurants and street food if you are advanturous enough. Within 100 metres there are three Seven-Elevens.
Restaurant Tip: Excellent food for reasonable prices at the Harmonique, Charoen Krung Road, Soi 34! Rather avoid the Art Gallery Cafe, very expensive and not that worth it.

Centre Point Silom Road

This hotel is very comfortable and convenient. It is close to the sky train, which gives you access to many places in Bangkok. It is connected to Robinsons and has a McDonalds right out front. Also close Chao Phraya River and famous Hotel Oriental. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms are big and kitchen is wonderful.

Stay at Centre Point Silom

Great connectivity - by Skytrain and by the river side

A comfortable place to settle down as you plan to look at the city of Bangkok. Take the river cruise to visit the Wats/palace/Chinatown or just for fun - at 150 Baht per day ( any no. of trips). To reach spots in the city the Skytrain is the coolest way - no traffic hassles - No shortage of eating places and street markets
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Use the river boats

Our return to this great hotel

everything, this hotel has it all !

We are never disappointed when we stay at the Centre Point Hotel at Saphan Taksin, it is like returning home to a welcoming family each time we visit. the staff are always willing to please and are most helpful. The rooms are great, in every way, of a really good size with all amenities you could wish for. The bathroom is well equipped and the toiletries are of a good quality. The bed is large and it is good having a kitchen area with washing machine/dryer. There is nothing at all I could fault this hotel on.
Shopping Tip: Choose this hotel if you need to be close to a small shopping centre. It has Robinsons attached to it also many eating outlets and other small shops and market.

A convenient location in Bangkok

Next to an MRT station, and with a Shopping Center attached to the building. Room are spacious, and a reasonible standard.

No taxi driver knows where the hotel is so you need to direct them to the Shangri La located around the corner, about a 3 minute walk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: If the traffic is bad, which it is most of the time, don't be afraid to jump on a motorbike taxi. There fast, cheap and reasonible safe. But make sure you have travel insurance just in case!

Great place for short or longer stays.

Ideally situated for transport, road, rail or river. Well equipped room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.

Bangkok is one of our favourite cities and the Centre Point Silom is one of our favourite hotels. The first time we stayed here we couldn't believe the value for money, and the helpful friendly staff made our visit even better. The second time we stayed here we brought friends with us and they were equally impressed. It didn't take us long to find our way round the city using river and rail transport as much as possible. We also enjoyed the pool, watching the lights come on across the city as we swam. Another bonus is the Robinson department store within the same building. All things considered we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip: Ask for a room with a River View. There is so much life on the river there is always something to watch.

Bangkok Sojourn

Great Location, close to Chao Phraya River Express and BTS, Breakfast fresh and expansive, pool large and shaded in afternoon

A brief (8 day) visit to BKK after a 12 year absence, revealed a modern metropolis that still treasures and reveres history and tradition. Centre Pointe Silom was my best choice for location, service and price. A single tourist, I wanted a convenient location, close to river and rail service, a modern high rise with a good sized pool, city views,24 hourcableTV all for less than US$80/day. Staff was patient and helpful, as I changed to another Centre Pointe location (there are at least 5 in BKK) for the 2nd half of my visit.
Restaurant Tip: When the sun sets, BKK street vendors fill main and side streets with cooking areas and tables for best value outdoor dining experience.

Beautiful night at Centr Point Silom Hotel.

Large room with impressive Bathroom, large balcony, superb breakfast buffet, magnificent swimming pool area, handy area

On arrival we where pleasantly greeted and made feel welcome. The large room, just renovated and modern with a super bathroom, large shower and bath tub and a small kitchen for making little things. There was also a large balcony from were we enjoyed a view over the river and Bangkok City. With a superb all inclusive breakfast we started our day. After a short walk you can board boats for river cruising or for easy wonderful drips to different palaces. A good choice staying at this hotel, next time we just need more time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: walking distance to the river from where you can have great tours

A great stay

Large, clean room at very affordable price. Near BTS station and Central Pier. Friendly staff.
8.3
Centre Point Silom has met our expectations of a good hotel accommodation that's priced affordably -- large, clean room with comfortable bed; breakfast included and free internet access (!); furnishing that's not dated or worn; near to BTS station for easy access to other attractions; right next to a shopping centre, night bazaard and eateries.

Centre Point Silom a good location

This hotel is especially close to both the skytrain and the river ferrys. The buffet breakfast is outstanding.

I just wrapped up 2 nights at Centre Point Silom and thought it was a good value in a convenient location. The rooms are very clean, reasonably large, and have a small kitchen, . There is both shower and tub. There are large windows which let in a lot of light and an interesting view over the city. There is a swimming pool but I didn't use it. The best part about this establishment is a supurb buffet breakfast and a great location. YOu can easily walk to the skytrain or the river.
Restaurant Tip: The hotel staff recommended Harmony Restaurant which was outstanding and very popular with the expat crowd.
