Great atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms well equipped and spacious.

We have found this hotel to be the best one we have stayed in in Bangkok. Living in Koh Samui we travel often to Bangkok, after finding Centre Point at Silom, I doubt if we will ever look for another hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, 2 mins walk from the river and sky train. You could not get a better location than this. adjoining Robinsons department store with direct acess into the store from lobby. There is also a night market nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel are very well decorated and presented. Rooms are very large and well equiped. Flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player. We found the kitchen area very useful, full size fridge freezer, washer/dryer ideal for taking home clean clothes instead of a caseful of washing. The restuarant has good views over the roof top pool and city. A very good choice of items for breakfast served buffet style. A great hotel for all occasions.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The ferries that operate on the river are excellent value only a few baht per ride. A great way to see the city without traffic jams.

I really liked my stay here. The staff are very friendly and smile all the time, the room was very nice and modern and super clean, loved the washing machine in the studio. I arrived early, around 9 am, but could check in at that time and I also got an upgrade to a riverview room, which had amazing views over Bangkok and the river. I would definitely stay here again!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Supermarket next door, BTS station really close.

I have stayed here many times and it seems like home. Great location, about a 4 or 5 minute walk to the Sky Train and the same to the river. It is nice to have a department store which is attached to the hotel plus a full size food market. The rooms are nice and this hotel or serviced apartment should be on everyones short list.

Helpful, friendly staff. Very convenient to SkyTrain and River Boat(5mins walk) for transport links round Bangkok. Superb buffet breakfast! Rooms and facilities were top class.

Air conditioning toooo cold! Building renovations were taking place 2 floors above me so constant noise of drilling and hammering from 8am. But as you are out all day, it didnt become an issue. just meant no sleep-in's were to be had!

I booked this hotel especially to feel safe, secure and have a good nights sleep for my 5 day stopover to london. plus i wanted to have easy convenient access to bangkoks shopping districts. this hotel was perfect for all my needs. it was quiet, great location to skytrain and riverboat. close to shopping areas. friendly staff and fantastic buffet breakfast.

Shopping Tip : As the skytrain was so close, it meant that the huge shopping complex Siam Centre and Paragon were only a 10-15mins away. So as a single traveller it meant no matter how tired i was, i could pop in their each day just to get my coffee, great food and fantastic cheap shopping and then a wonderful Thai massage, all located at MBK shopping complex(which is very nearby to the Paragon malls). Highly recommend this excursion.

Location, staff, washing machine, large rooms, nice building, newly renovated.

Swimming pool has too much clorine, not very clean, not good for prolonged swimming.

I really like this property; in fact, it this property is one of the few places I enjoy staying in Bangkok. Located on top of a Robinsons Department Store, I actually found a nice Citizen watch I wanted on the way to my room (but I ordered from the Internet, saving nearly 40 percent!). I also like the staff and everyone is very helpful. I do wish all Center Points in Bangkok would get a few stream irons, as Centre Points are the only properties I have stayed at in 5 years that do not have modern steam irons our clothes. My biggest complaint this time is the pool. As an avid lap swimmer, I swim many times a week, sometimes 1000 to 3000 meters each session. I stay in a Holiday Inn in Chiang Mai and the water is like heaven compared to the pool at Centre Point Silom. The water is badly overly clorinated and the staff do not run the pumps 24 hours a day, so the bottom of the pool sometimes gets a nasty film, especially after it rains. The staff explained that this was an effect of the rain, but other pools in Thailand do not have this problem. I am pretty sure that better pool management would make this a delightful pool.

near the river. facilities. modern and remodeled.

screaching noise from someplace at all hours of the day (including during sleeping time) from the east side of the building.

This serviced apartment is near the river. and has useful facilities. It is modern as it has been remodeled. Professional and well-trained staff. (sometimes too polite one can say). Except for the noise from outside the building, nothing bad to say at all.

Location - on river, close to sky train, supermarket & department store in same building. Interesting 'hood.

Hot water sometimes not hot.

This is luxury living for less than luxury price. I prefer river view room. Stayed her for almost 3 months this year, couldn't be happier.

Restaurant Tip : up the soi directly accross from Robinson's (there's a 7/11 on the corner) about 1/4 KM on the left, there's an old Chinese food vendor who sells GREAT vegetarian food. Try the noodle soup.

Friendly staff, Good sized and well equiped rooms

Not on Main Road

I've stayed at Centre Point Silom twice now and both times have been not only great value but staff have been friendly and the hotel is quite comfortable. The kitchenette is small but handy for longer stays, as you can easily make a meal in your room. Staff are very good, however make sure you have your Do Not Disturb light On, unless you want early morning calls at your door for Dry Cleaning. The longer stay packages are great value and I'll plan to stay again in 2009.

nice enough, quite sterile, really for business people

Location, close to BTS, river boats, easy taxi service. Bright open and clean room. Best of all a small flower shop is out front with excellent prices, my wife loved fresh flowers in the room. CP staff is always friendly & attentive.

Hot & cold water knobs are not always stadardized, Hot/left, Cold/right, it's opposite of what you are used to, so dont think there is no hot water. Don't let the surrounding neighborhood fool you, lots of market activity so sidewalks/gutters can be kind of nasty.

Every Center Point hotel I have stayed at has always met my expectations, clean hotels, very attentive friendly doormen and front desk employees. CP Silom is hidden behind the Robinson's department store but don't let that fool you, once you are greeted at the front door any doubt's will fade away. Check in is easy and on your way to the elevator you will notice on the left is a hotel entrance to Robinson's. Our room had the river view (ask at check in )19th floor was fine, no noise issues.Breakfast to order, included western style & Good Thai, chinese, also served with fresh fruits and espresso, very clean. Hotel restaurant in evening.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : BTS station (Saphan Thaksin)3 min walk from hotel, right below this station is the boat ramp, you can take tour boats which cost a lot more or ride with the locals up or down the river to the grand palace, wat arun or many other locations, oneway fare is 13 baht. get a river map but either way all the stops are marked in english, boats run very frequent and its fun.

location, value for money, free fast wireless internet, modern and clean

none really; one VERY minor negative: the hotel lacked a little atmosphere

The hotel is a great base for sightseeing in Bangkok - only a five minute walk to Sapan Thaksin skytrain station and the river ferry. It's next to the Robinson department store. The hotel is very clean, the room is an excellent standard and quiet. The free wireless internet is very fast. Buffet breakfast is very good - both Thai and European food available.

Restaurant Tip : I enjoyed eating out at Tongue Thai restaurant, an upmarket air-conditioned Thai restaurant with interesting dishes and plenty of atmosphere.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are well equipped, clean, big and especially the ones on higher floors have a great view on the river and the city.

The swimming pool needs some cleaning.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling for many months, with our base camp in Bangkok, and we always choose this hotel, because we really feel at home here. The rooms are very clean, you have a fridge, a kitchen and even a dvd player. You can rent dvds at the reception. The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious and the location of the hotel is perfect to explore the city.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : In walking distance to the hotel, you'll find the "State Tower". On the top floor it has a nice (but expensive) Lounge (no FlipFlops allowed), from which you have a wonderful view over the city.

Very nice, clean rooms and bathroom. Well equipped kithenette and a wahing machine. All the comforts of home. Very good location. Short walk to Sky Train and the Sathorn Pier. There is a super market downstairs too.

They had me sign a credit card slip for 30,000 baht, as "deposit". Deposit for what??!!
