I was incredibly impressed by this hotel. From the front door staff who made me feel extremely welcome (and seemed genuinely sad when I checked out), to the very welcoming and helpful way that the restaurant staff remembered the way I liked my food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends, and would return again. It is even located within about 150 M from the sky train, making it easy to get around the city. I especially liked the studio apartment aspect of it, as I enjoyed the ability to make some of my own food, and save a little cash.
Shopping Tip:
Groceries are available in the basement of the department store attached to the hotel. And, in the evenings there's a street food market that sets up behind the hotel - great food for 35 Bhat!

Silom Centrepoint - best place I have stayed in
1) generally staff are very warm and friendly
2) convenience - next to Tops and Robinsons
3) our studio room had a view of the river and was well appointed
4) most public areas are clean and well maintained

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are very comfortable and has a reasonable of amenities, service is superior, location is great, breakfast is good, and for a 4 star riverside property, it's offers great value for money. No need for a spa, or for great dining places.. there are many around the place. I would stay here again definitely

Brilliant Hotel To Stay In
Very central on the Sky Train.

This is a great hotel to stay bang in the Middle of Bangkok! Hotel rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast is more than one can as for and staff are extremely helful. The hotel is also just 2 minutes away from the sky train so travelling around is very easy. The view from most of the rooms is also spectacular.

This hotel was good value for money. It's proximity to the sky train, river and robinson mall was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The washing machine in the room was a great help since we'd just come from spending 4 days in another hotel without one.

Located steps away from the skytrain with a supermarket, department store, and fast food outlets attached, this hotel is hard to beat when it comes to location. And right next to the river ferry boat dock, too! Extremely clean and bright rooms, with 5 star service throughout the property, I'll never stay anywhere else in Bangkok. the only downside to me (yep, they've spoiled me!) is some rooms have an older washer/dryer combo that never really dries the clothes (call housekeeping for a drying rack).
Restaurant Tip:
cheap local food at the food court in the Tops supermarket downstairs.

We have now stayed at the Centre Point Silom multiple times and each time have been totally impressed with the overall quality of the hotel. It is modern, well equipped and is professionally run. Of all the hotel propertoies we have stayed at in Bangkok (other than the JW Marriott, the Hilton, or the Sheraton), it rated the overall best for the price.
Shopping Tip:
It is eay to get food and beverages for your room by going shopping in the adjacent stores.

AMAZING Hotel - would definitely stay here again
Beautiful lobby, helpful staff and bellhops, INCREDIBLE breakfast buffet, washer in room, very spacious room and big bed, large bathroom, extremely clean, hotel connects to department store, which is convenient if you need something, nice pool area, very good restaurant food with generous portions - GREAT Thai iced tea.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We were slightly skeptical staying at an 'executive long term stay' hotel, just not knowing what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised with every aspect of this hotel. Our favorite part was the international breakfast buffect which was included with the room. It offered every type of food you can imagaine, all very fresh and delicious. We ate lunch and dinner in the hotel a couple of days as well and were just as impressed with the restaurant as with with breakfast buffet. You must have a Thai iced tea here, it was excellent. The bellhops are very helpful for hailing cabs for you and giving them directions in Thai for where you are going. The rooms were VERY clean and spacious and the washer in the room made it nice to do some laundry after our travels. Other than the semi-hidden entrance to this hotel, I have absolutely nothing negative to report.
Shopping Tip:
There is an excellent night market that starts at dark right next to the hotel. We found some great bargains and it seems to be mostly locals, so the prices are lower than most night markets we went to.

We stayed at this hotel for xmas and everything was great. The staff are excellent and the location is perfect to go to the overhead rail or the water taxi on the river. If you want to shop there is a Robinson's department store attached to the hotel with groceries and food in the lower level. We will stay there at any time we are in Bangkok. Metered taxi from the airport is less than 400 baht.
Travel tip:
Major shopping area is 10 minutes away by overhead rail(where the 2 rail lines connect) The rail stop is beside the hotel

ideal Bangkok location
ideally located for river boat. lovely staff. very spacious rooms and bathroom. only stayed 3 nights, used pool felt cold after heat of Bangkok by day but needed to cool down anyway. Wish i'd known about the close proximity of lumpini park, which i will definitely look up on next visit next Xmas, as i will probably stay here again. Did not eat here in evenings, but breakfast superb catering for all tastes (UK. Chinese, Thai etc, basically of the services provided we were very pleased but didn't really make full use of all facilities available.

Not very easy to locate sky train and river boat. only found them after river trip from grand palace back to hotel area. Take room high up as street level noisy all night i would imagine, and view altough good would probably be better on river side of hotel.
