locations great next to train and ferries with shopping in the building
selections of wine in restaurant
out of about 20 hotels i have stayed in bangkok, this one for me is my favourite.large tidy new rooms, with good views and ammenities, huge good shower.dvd player in room, and free movies at reception.free internet in room if u have bluetooth. Good gym, large pool table tennis and even a library.i have nothing bad to say about this place except that a selection of more than one red and one white wine would help.the staff are second to none.My favourite one in bangkok.
Shopping Tip : there is a good foodcourt on the fourth floor of the shopping centre.

The location - it's fun to be on the river, and so close to the BTS (skytrain) station.
We've been here more than two weeks - breakfast is getting a little boring.
This is my fourth Centre Point. Not the most luxurious of Bangkok serviced apartments but VERY GOOD VALUE for the money. Really, at under 2,000 baht you can't go wrong.
Nightlife Tip : there's an outdoor bar on top of the nearby State Tower. Go there at sunset for a memorable experience (wear nice clothes or they won't let you in. Men - no sandals.)

Close to ferry and skytrain
Good food
Great facilities
The hotel is located in a very accesible area - i.e. close to all the cheaper and more efficient transport in Bangkok. The facilities are outstanding - especially the pool and gym. The staff are very informative and obliging. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended place to spend either a business or leisure time
Shopping Tip : MBK and Zen are close by.

None really. If I'm being pedantic, the restaurant (and room service) closed at 10pm but that's hardly the end of the world.
The hotel offered a great middle-ground between hotel and apartment life. Not too many shops or restaurants in the immediate area, although located very close to a BTS station to travel around easily. All in I really liked the place and would stay there again.

Very convenient to the river transport and skytrain. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are very spacious, bathrooms excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Great property for a long stay.
Did not find any weaknesses
My first experience with a Centre Point property. If they are all the same then I will definitely seek them out, as options, in the future. The rooms we had (2 separate stays within a week) were very spacious, comfortable and had all the necessities for either short or long-term stays. The short walk to the skytrain and river is a big advantage.
Hotel Feature Tip : Excellent value for money - location is very convenient, rooms are spacious and comfortable and have all the conveniences of a serviced apartment

Lack of restaurants in the immediate area.
This hotel is perfect for our needs. It is great location for river taxi and skytrain. We have pretty good luck with taxis knowing also. I wish there were more restaurants in the immediate area, however there are several within an okay walking distance. Lots of good street food, which I cautiously tried this time. I love having the grocery store right next door at Robinson's.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good and clean massage place on 3rd floor of Robinson's, back toward the parking and restrooms.

Excellent room size.
Room facilities.
Perfect location.
Lovely pool and gym area.
No iron in room.
Variable temperature water in the shower.
I felt that CentrePoint apartments & Hotel offered a perfect place to stay. The room was very large and well appointed - a great little kitchen and washer/dryer. The view from the balcony towards the river was lovely and the Silom Rd area was only a short taxi ride away. Additionally, it was close to the Skytrain system and a short walk to the river ferries.
The pool area was lovely and the gym was well equipped.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ferry ride to Grand Palace.

This was probably the single best hotel room in which I've ever stayed. Enormous room, enough storage for a dozen guests, living room area, full kithen (except oven- only a microwave), free wifi, dining area, GREAT and very reasonable room service. I wish I could have stayed in Bangkok longer just to stay at the Centre Ooint Silom lomger.
The hotel starts on the 7th or 8th floor of the building. Entrance on side. And from the streetfront on Charoenkrung Rd, it looks tacky- a McDonalds, cart food vendors, very crowded, but did have a Robinson's Dept store with a Tops supermarket in the basement, which was handy.
I wouldn't think of going to Bangkok again without checking out deals on this hotel. My room had every possible amenity, and the design details of the space were gorgeous. Bathroom, also was very luxurious, with a large tub and large separate glassed-in shower. Also, coming in from the airport, it was a straight highway shot until five minutes from the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Not too far away, on Soi Pan, between Silom and Sathorn, is
Thalin Pling, awarded one of best restaurants in Thailand many times since 2001.

Very friendly staff, great location and comfy rooms
This was our second stay in Centre Point and we will be definitely returning this year.
The staff was very nice - alawys smilling, opening the doors, it's such a small thing but makes a huge difference. We got the same waitress serving us in the restaurant which is nice knowing the rotation in those jobs.
The room (sudio) was great - more than enough for the two of us. Good amenities - coffe, tea making facilities as well as washing machine, fridge, microwave - a proper apartment. The bed is really comfy and big. The room is also very clean and air con works well. Depending on the room allocation - you may get the river or city side. I would recommend you ask for the river side - better views :)
The location is great - close to the river pier (travelling this way is soo cheap - 13THB per person to get to the Grand Palace!)and BTS station. Robinson store at the doorstep.
Food - breakfast is good, not great but good. If we were staying more than a week it may have been too repetitive. The restaurant serves great food although the menu could have more options.
Gym is on the smaller side but adequate - has everything you need and again - service with a smile.
This is one of the hotels I know I will be coming back to.
Hotel Feature Tip : Use the river boats - best mode of transport!

Location, wireless, good breakfast, nice pool
I had stayed in this hotel for almost 10days, i really like the room size, it is spacious and have a nice view. It is just within walking distance to the BTS and also if u are sick of the city live, u could just talk a ferry across the river which u could find some nice restaurant in those 4 to 5 star hotel which u could enjoy lunch or dinner by the river. Moreover they even have washing machine and dryer in the room. It is suitable for those people who really want to spend a couple of weeks in bangkok.

Everything nice and neat.
Clean, top furniture.
Great bathroom and safe.
1. Staff a bit too artificially friendly.
2. English not very good
3. Security Guards overly friendly
4. Air-Con on terrace a bit too loud.
We really liked our stay here. Apart from bad English and crowdy area surroundings we really liked our room. Nice corner room on 19th floor, with view over the city. Everything OK. Really nice shower and bathtub with complimentary bathing products.
Beware of the papaya at breakfast. Apart from that, BF was nothing special but quite standardized.
