Excellent hotel
Staff, rooms and location
9.3
This was our second stay with the Centre Point Hotel and was just as good as the first. The staff are very attentive with excellent and prompt service. The rooms are very nice with all you will need including a good kitchen with clothes washing machine. Everything in the room is spotless. The location is great in that the Metro transportation system is only a few minute walk with river taxi only 5 minutes farther away. The hotel is connected to a department store and a grocery store for anything you might need.

Nicely located with friendly staff & good pool
Good pool, OK gym, close to river & sathorn pier
8.7
for families, having a good pool, a kitchen and a washing machine/drier are important. location is very easy - a super market and dept store downstairs, a wet market on the side, lots of good local restaurants and food vendors, and easy to travel by skytrain or river 'bus'. free internet works well plus good desk. clean room and nice bathroom. if you upgrade to a 66 m room you can get some good views of the river from some rooms
Restaurant Tip:
great roast duck restaurant across the road heading towards silom road

Great location, excellent value for money
9.3
great location, convenient for skytrain and river taxi. helpful staff with good command of english. has been completely refurbished, although personally preferred the older model.
Travel tip:
i found the airport link to phayathai, transfer to the bts, and the walk to centre point to be less preferable than the taxi, especially with lots of luggage, but if you're travelling light might be better to travel via public transport.

Great hotel
Good breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff

A great hotel in a lovely location. Easy access to all the sites via river boat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure when you use a taxi meter cab in bangkok that you ask them to use the meter instead of them quoting you a price. Works out much cheaper.

Greta Hotel, Great Location, Great Everything.

this was a great hotel to stay at. near the river and a very short walk from the skytrain. it also had a large grocery store in the attached mall. service was always excellent and the rooms were great. would stay there again without hesitation.

Good location
location is good for getting around on mrt or boat taxis.
6.7
the hotel was fine, but we have been staying with centre points for over 4 years now and they get "skimpier" every time. when i left the dining room with a cup of coffee to enjoy elsewhere, i was told i had to bring the cup back myself where in the past the maid service took care of it. hmmm - may try elsewhere next time.

Great suite near the river
kitchen and tv/dvd player
7.7
This is a great hotel for an extended stay. There is a grocery store in the bottom floor of the building. It's very close to the skytrain and some larger hotels. It was very clean with a comfortable bed. they did give us a corner room that was very nice and had extra windows.
Shopping Tip:
It's in the same building as Robinson's Dept. store and Tops grocery store. Healthland is close by which is great for massages.

Nice hotel
Cleanness, big space, and great service
9.7
the car park was kinda difficult because it's the shared facility with the department store. need to go to 6th floor where the restaurant and lobby located, take about 5+ minutes to go up. other than that i would say it's excellent place to stay. recommended hotel!

beautiful hotel - nice view of river at night
supermarket and shops in hotel complex

On arrival at about 7pm, we were greeted by friendly staff at reception and advised that we were upgraded in accomodation. When we were escorted to our room, we were suprised to find that it was like an apartment, with all facilities and very nice. The view from the terrace of the brightly coloured boats on the river was magnificent. It was such a pity that we only stayed for the one night, as we were flying home the next day. If we return to Bangkok, we would like to stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A must see in Bangkok are the Temples and the Grand Palace
