Extremely helpful front staff. Very warm and inviting. Excellent breakfast. Close to attractions.

I don't have a single bad thing to say

We stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions during our time in Bangkok. It's location is less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest SkyTrain station and is right in the heart of the bustle of Sukhumvit. The hotel is extremely clean and well taken care of and the hotel staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. I wouldn't even think of staying any where else in Bangkok. You would expect to pay a lot more than what you do to stay here. Highly recommmend

Nice swimming pool, nice and clean rooms, new and fresh, service minded staff.

Taxi don't like to go there because of traffic and it's a bit down from the main street.

When we came 10 am they told us check in wasn't until 2 pm, but they were cleaning a room and it would be finished in about 30 min. They upgraded us to a bigger room / apartment which were very nice and clean. I have stayed in some hotels in Bangkok, but this was the best value for money so far. Didn't try the breakfast because I left to early. Too bad I only stayed one night.

Stayed here for some of December 08 & January 09, all aspects of my stay were excellent. The staff are particularly courteous and helpful in all aspects of your stay. Rooms and apartments are spotless and very comfortable with excellent bathrooms. Swimming pool area and Gym also excellent and if you do not want to walk to Sukhumvit road (5 mins) a man in a golf cart is always giving people lifts. I can not recommend this great hotel highly enough.

Nightlife Tip : Nightlife for everyones taste is a matter of minutes away in Sukhumvit or Nana

* large appartment * clean and well-equipped (fax, cd, tv, dvd, washing-machine/dryer, microwave, jacuzzi-bathtub etc.) * close to sukumvit road, still very quiet, surrounded by gardens and private houses very friendly service * computer workplaces with internet + printers available

* construction work on new building next to the hotel * no outside pool

Reading the reviews here on Agoda, I went with mixed emotions to the Centre Point Hotel. And I was suprised in a positive manner: I could not share the impression that the furniture is starting to were out. For an Asian point of view, it is in a very good shape. The overall equipment of the appartments struck me: you have virtually everything you could need during a stay in Bangkok. I never thought so (as the laundry services are very cheap) that I would find it convinient to have a washing machine in the appartment - but I did. Fax machine, 3 telephones (one in the bathroom also), large kingsize bed, balcony... there is everything you need. Additionally, they have an indoor swimming pool (which I did not use), a small shop where you can quickly buy all you forgot to take with you (in my case: toothpaste), massage service and much more. It is about 400 meters away from the Sukuvith main road, but they have a free tuk-tuk service to take you there. Overall, an enjoyable experience and well worth the money. I would stay there again.

Nightlife Tip : Close to the Bangkok area where you have all that nightlife one might be looking for.

Again, this hotel is awesome Guest Rating: 10

arrived at 2a.m, no hassle to check in, pleasant staff, would stay again, self contained 1 bedroom with fridge and kitchen, spotless room, cleaned daily and sheets and towels also changed daily. ironing board and iron supplied, small safe also included, tv and dvd player. great location and good pool. tuk tuk free service constantly to sukhumvit. highly thought of, no glaring faults.

Hotel Feature Tip : no construction work nearby. absolute godsend, but as usual always a good tip to ring first to check if there is any construction work.

Huge, huge bed, good furnishings, excellent landscaping around the hotel and a good restaurant with an international buffet style breakfast.

no bathrobes

Fantastic place to stay. I had a studio which is a one bed studio apartment - kitchen, bathroom, living area with sliding partition for the sleeping area and balcony with furniture. This accomodation had the largest bed i've ever slept in. I'm six foot and couldn't reach any of the sides when i laid in the middle of the bed. Very nice hotel staff - they actually salute you when you're leaving the hotel - a hotel tuktuk to take you the 1/2 mile walk from centrepoint to Sukhumvit. It's a great spot, very close to the centre of the city and the skytrain station at Nana Plaza. Would definitely stay there again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : At the beginning of the soi (avenue) there's one of the very few parks in Bangkok, a small and carefully manicured greenspace, walled in, with gates open during the daylight hours.

My very pleasant stay in Centre Point Guest Rating: 9.3

The people working in this hotel were very kind and gentle. The suite was very very nice and clean. The cleaning of the room was also very good. Shortly said: Very satisfied!!

Because of the time difference I was looking for a clock somewhere but I could not find it so very quick. Of course you know the time difference, but the summertime in Europe and not in Thailand, made me doubt and therefore I was looking for a clock.

The people working in this hotel were very kind and gentle. The suite was very very nice and clean. The cleaning of the room was also very good. In the morning there was a very nice breakfast buffet with every day different dishes. Shortly said: Very satisfied!! It was also very nice that there was a tuk tuk from the hotel to bring you, and pick you up, from the hotel to the highway. The driver was also very gentle! Centre Point made my stay in Bangkok very nice!!

Shopping Tip : Go please to the Pratunam Market (not so far with the sky train)

Many of the guide books recommended a restaurant called Ton Pho by the river. This restaurant is now closed and not open for business.

Restaurant Tip : Ask Conceriege about the suburban restaurant called Waterside. A restaurant offerring Thai food that is reasonably priced, a fair trip by taxi but worth it. Frequented predominantly by local Thai's in the suburb. Great outdoor eating area over the water with a live band playing.
