- Plenty of parking
- Great Gym with plenty of equipment.
- Great breakfast.
- Not much nearby.
- Hotel is getting old.
The hotel is fine if you are looking for a hotel in this specific area for work. Caters mainly for the business traveler and conventions as it is not near the usual tourist spots, such as Sukhumwit, the river or the old town. For the business traveler has plenty of parking for guests and a great gym to unwind at the end of day.

The hotel is nice and some of the staffs spoke English. The gym is excellent with first class jacuzzi which I used few times.
The hotel is out of the way from main actions of Bangkok. Its not good idea if you are single person. I was little bit pissed by the high charge of the telephone as I was not properly informed of the phone charges.
I would stay in the hotel in the future only if I come with my family. The hotel give good value for money, the only thing is it is definitely out of the way. Far from everything in the main activities of Bangkok.

Tasteful, large rooms
Fairly close to MRT (underground train system)
Friendly concierge
Convenient store on premises
Hotel desk staff spoke only a little English.
Restaurant and coffee shop were a bit expensive.
No ice machines.
Limited English TV.
The rooms were large, spacious and very well appointed. We had an in room refrigerator which came in handy for drinks and snacks. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and has an attractive lobby. It has computers with internet connection in the lobby for guests to use free of charge. The hotel has other ammenities such as a swimming pool, spa, business center, and a golf driving range. I would diffinitely stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Weekend Market is only a couple of stops away via the underground MRT.

Very nice hotel with lots of on-site amenities
Not very close to tourist attractions
This is my 4th stay here at the Chaophya Park. The rooms are nice and affordable and there are several restaurants and a bar onsite as well. The prices in the restaurants is a little high but not unreasonable.

- price is fair and reasonable
- like the bed and pillows
- free internet access
- quiet
- getting back to hotel at night from the subway station has to walk a 100 meters of dimly lit walk way
- no many convenience store near by
The hotel lobby is spacious so is the room that I stayed. The room doesnt have a locker, so you really have to trust the hotel staffs. There are a few pc available near the hotel entrance for internet access at no charge, and access from room is possible through wifi if you mobile is internet enabled. Its not very far from the subway station but walking back at night might be a bit of a concern for female.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask the front desk for internet id and password. Nice swimming pool.

Great matresses and water pressure temp. I know this seems trivial, but many Asian hotels seen to have uncomfortable bedding and bath facilities. This is first class.
Very well organized staff. My Agoda reservation was waiting for me when I arrived.
For this price -- actually almost for any price -- any con comments are really a stretch. This is simply a great hotel.
This in now my home in Bangkok about four times each year. This is a 5 star level hotel at a 3 star price. But the value does keep the occupancy rate high so I try to book early! Great staff service and hotel ammenities. Resturants are top and reasonably priced.
Hotel Feature Tip : Very close to the Bangkok subway system to connect you to the rest of the city.

Modern and professional. Everything you need.
Located far from town.
Drinks VERY expensive
It's a lovely, cheerful hotel - a la Holiday Inn. The service is good and professional and the rooms are well appointed. A Singha in the Lobbhy Bar will cost you over THB200 and a Coke over THB100! Fortunately there's a 7/11 just to the right of the hotel where you can get a Singha for THB40 and just over the canal there is a little eating place with great food and great prices. Although it is located far from everything, the underground (Ratchadiphisek)is only a short walk from the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : If you eat at the little place over the canal make sure you can order in Thai - they have no English and no menu.

This hotel is clean, and the room is spacious. It's maintained well and the one of the front counter staff i think is a Superior with short hair. She's very efficiency in doing thing.
Oo...none of the thing that i dislike.
I am happy that i chose Chaophya Park Hotel during my Bangkok Stay. I had made a right decision in doing it. The hotel gave me a very good impression during my stay. It's worth staying in this hotel.
Shopping Tip : Jusco, Robinson and Carrfour are just 15 minutes walking distance. And the skytrain station is about 5 min walking distance too.

the swimming pool, and the bathroom i like it this style marble old fashion but honestly i get enough of the new modern design. i especialy appreciate my son can bath and i can shower both are in the hotel !
the water always linkout in the shower ! the tv are not flat tv but this is okey they get enough channels, i don't like much the system centralize lightings ... and the aircond are automatic when we off the system so i always arrive in the room and it's too cold !
i know well the area and also several hotels in this area i tried several, honestly book the room here with agoda and you can take a mini breakfast at the coffee shop this is not the best coffee but acceptable , the bakery are almost cheaper than carrefour and the taste it's great, as the buffet are too expensive , but this a great service. so now your guy's can really use this hotel to visit and enjoy bangkok always take the BTR not those taxis waiting for you at the exit of the hotel ! they are more like trying to over the prices...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : on weekend you can visit the blackstreet market super, it's after 10pm until 2am around a free market , after the hotel at latprao corner around 10minutes walk on left when you live the hotel it's great !! you can see vespa etc they sales all 2nd hand stufff! cool !
