Chateau de Bangkok Managed by Accor Hotel, Bangkok

this hotel is combined with apartments so there was not a lot of action hapopening while i was there. The restaurant was quite good but maybe a little too expensive. The hotel was very quiet but not too far from conveniences and the main road of sukhumvit. It is a no-fuss stay and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Chateau de Bangkok is right up there with our top favorite hotels: Regent Sydney, Four Seasons Las Vegas, Westin & Imperial Tokyo, Intercontinental Seoul, Waldorf+Astoria New York, any Klimpton property. It is classy and understated without being stuffy or too over the top. Comfortable & scrupulously clean, fast elevators, Paparazzi Restaurant--exquisite! Roof-top pool is gorgeous. Great lighting, fast elevators. Staff is first-rate, esp. "Bond, James Bond!" Very comfy bed--not the typical rock-hard Thai bed. Welcome drink, room escort made us feel right at home. Wake up call on time, taxi arrangements perfect. Under-promised, over-delivered. Extraordinary property! Agoda rate was the BEST value! Will definitely return!

Chateau de Bangkok is a great choice for the value but not a very Fancie hotel. The hotel is an older building that has been up graded tastefully and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is more of a studio apartment than a hotel room. They provide you with a good size refrigerator and a microwave. There are some dishes, forks, spoons, etc and a small sink in the room for your convince. The meads will wash the dishes and clean your room everyday. It had a nice bathroom with a great bath tub. The hotel is close to the public transportation (BTS) and close to the action. We had a great time and were happy with the accomidation.

Recommend for mature couples, professional/ business people, who don't want to put up with resort style accomodation

The hotel was decent for what it is but their room administration system need serious update. I checked in and imagine my surprise when I unlocked the door to someone looking straight at me with eyes wide open. It's another person room. Changed to another room but the room's ventilation had problems as it was siphoning the air from the bathroom and smokes from another room.

my worst Bangkok hotel experience...i am from France and i am shy to say that it was my worst hotel experience from all over my world wide traveling....it starts with a very bad smell in the room which was not looking that clean...the next room was a little bit better but really not what i was expecting...so we stayed the 2 nights but the worst is to come when i was going to the business center to take care some important things for me but impossible to focus on it because for 42 minutes ,this guy in charge was on the phone for all the time i was working and i asked him to go out to talk but he never did move...so imagine the frustration and i told the manager but no sorry no excuses no nothing...next when i decide to have diner in the hotel restaurant , i was alone and i order some soup plus a special French dish called steak tartar and my nightmare started 2 hours later with a food poisoning and put me out for the all night...i do not tell you the details but you can imagine ...every 1/2 hour in the bathroom to try to breathe because my conditions...i have to wait the morning 8 am to go to the clinic to see a doctor and help me to give me a shot to stop my very serious condition...lucky me it was the 2nd night and i will check out but i asked to meet the chef...never showed up and i was screaming so bad that they finally give me some money to pay the doctor bill...no way i will recommend this place because it is a french company who is in charge and they really did not do anything to apologize and i am even considering to have the Thai health department to go visit the restaurant kitchen because it is a nightmare to deal with this people...the people , the manager , the chef everyone should be fired in this so bad property and even maybe should close it.

I would like to recommend this hotel as one of the most comfortable hotels in central Bangkok. Kitchen and walk-in closet make you feel at home. Shopping area (all seasons) are the just across a road. Please try this convenient and comfortable hotel for your stay in Bangkok.

The Chateau de Bangkok is a very good hotel in an excellent location. It is only a couple of minutes away from the Sky Train station and this makes it so easy to travel around the city without having to use taxis or other transport. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful and any requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Although it is central, it is very quiet and the swimming pool on the roof is great to spend a few hours or have a look at the city. The newly opened bar/restaurant at the top of the hotel is also to be recommended.

Excellent location.

I have stayed here twice now & can not complain about this place. The location is good, tucked away from the hussle & bussle but can walk to Sukhumvit in 10 minutes, skytrain in 5 minutes, there are several high standard restaurants opposite which are frequented by wealthy Thai's so obviously food is good. Hotel staff are friendly & helpful, general standard of rooms is good I would say 4 star but convenience of location is 5 star. Pool is small but it is a good family friendly place.

We went there twice. First time we good a big room with jacuzzi but the second time the room was smaller and no jacuzzi. Generally the hotel is nice and convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not far from BTS station and All seasons place where we can find good restaurants and coffee shops. Probably go back again.
